Chapter 317 The Three Immortal Maidens of the Jie Sect are as beautiful as celestial beings; Fang Li's plan to reap the benefits!

The image of Manjushri Buddha vanished in the instant its form disappeared.

All the noise and turmoil subsided instantly, and everything returned to tranquility.

The main hall where Xu Xinnian was located also disappeared in an instant.

Moreover, everything around them blurred and faded rapidly, like clouds and mist blown away by the wind.

Until finally, like a mirage, it vanished quickly...

When Xu Xinnian came to his senses again...

I found myself back on the first step.

Looking at the lifelike Manjushri Buddha statue next to him, its surface is now covered with shocking cracks.

These cracks resemble gruesome wounds.

It starts from the head and spreads downwards all the way to the feet.

The entire Buddha statue looked like it was about to collapse.

It seemed as if it could collapse completely at any moment.

Coming to his senses, Xu Xinnian glanced at the Manjushri Buddha statue beside him and let out a long sigh of relief.

The first hurdle has been overcome.

We are one step closer to inheriting the legacy of our original ancestor.

Then, he shifted his gaze from the Manjushri Buddha statue to another Buddha statue on the next step.

That was a statue of Samantabhadra Buddha with half-closed eyes and a kind and peaceful face.

He was sitting there quietly.

It's like a wise man silently observing all things in the world.

This is a Mahayana saint who possesses immeasurable vows and practices and manifests in all Buddha-lands.

He and Manjushri Bodhisattva are the attendants of Vairocana Buddha.

Manjushri rides a lion and attends the Tathagata on the left, while Samantabhadra rides a white elephant and attends the Tathagata on the right.

If we use these two attendants to represent the Dharma, Manjushri manifests wisdom, insight, and realization, while Samantabhadra manifests reason, concentration, and practice, together illustrating the complete and perfect understanding of the Tathagata's reason, wisdom, concentration, practice, and realization.

Manjushri and Samantabhadra are the foremost of all Bodhisattvas.

They constantly help to propagate the Buddha's teachings and guide others to benefit.

Because of the bodhisattva's physical form and merits, which pervade all places and are purely virtuous, he is called Samantabhadra.

Before crossing over.

There is a relatively large Puxian Temple near his hometown, which has a history of over a thousand years.

It has a longer history than Shaolin Temple and White Horse Temple, and is said to be the first Buddhist temple that was truly introduced from India to the land of Kyushu.

The temple is bustling with worshippers and boasts beautiful scenery.

It's a famous 5A-level scenic spot in my hometown, and it's very effective.

It attracts many tourists every year to burn incense and worship Buddha.

When he was a child, he often went there to play. The abbot there was very kind and often gave him food and toys.

He also tells himself stories and teaches himself life philosophies.

After a while, they met again.

He has a natural affinity for Samantabhadra.

Exit my thoughts.

Xu Xinnian glanced at the three remaining purple paper figures beside him, then stepped onto the second step where Samantabhadra Bodhisattva stood.

In an instant.

The world spun around me, and everything around me began to change rapidly.

........

Just as Xu Xinnian entered the second assessment stage.

The five largest and strongest sects in the Primordial Immortal Realm are Chan Sect, Western Sect, Jie Sect, Heavenly Court, and Wen Sect.

Eventually, the particles converged from several directions—east, west, south, and north—at the very center of the ruins.

Their gazes, without prior agreement, turned to the sacred mountain in the very center, which radiated bursts of Buddhist light, was shrouded in mist, and towered into the clouds!

The other factions continued to fight openly and secretly in various areas of the ruins for various magical treasures.

"That place looks like Mount Ling."

Yang Jian, a third-generation disciple of the Chan Sect and the newly appointed leader of the Twelve Golden Immortals of the Chan Sect, squinted as he looked at the central heart of the ruins, at the mountain peak that resembled the Western Paradise's Spirit Mountain.

Upon hearing this...

The Dragon-Subduing Venerable turned his head, looked at Yang Jian, uttered a Buddhist chant, and said arrogantly, "Amitabha, Benefactor Yang is not just a figurehead, but is the very embodiment of Lingshan, the sacred site of my Zen sect."

"Tch, so what?"

Zhao Gongming, the eldest of the Three Immortals of the Three Immortals of the Jie Sect, second only to the Golden Spirit Mother and the Wudang Mother, curled his lip and said sarcastically, "If that place is truly the place of the future Buddha's inheritance, all of you present are qualified to enter and receive the inheritance."

"If your Western religion fails to obtain it by then, won't you be so angry that you bleed from all seven orifices?"

Upon hearing this...

The hot-tempered Venerable Fuhu immediately flew into a rage, glaring at Zhao Gongming and saying, "Zhao Gongming, if you don't speak, no one will think you're mute!"

"How could you, born from moisture and eggs, possibly fathom the lineage of my Zen school!"

"What did you say?!"

Upon hearing this, Zhao Gongming's expression turned cold, and he swiftly drew his weapon.

The two sides were clearly on the verge of exchanging blows.

Just then.

Nezha, the leader of the Heavenly Court, interrupted, "What's the point of all this arguing? If you're not going, I'm going. Maybe Mount Ling is the inheritance of the original ancestor."

“This fellow Daoist is right, you should go somewhere else,” Fang Li said with a smile, who was enjoying the spectacle.

This interruption.

The tense atmosphere between Venerable Fuhu and Zhao Gongming eased somewhat in an instant.

The two glared at each other and then withdrew their supernatural powers.

When I looked at Mount Ling again.

The crowd's gazes became more intense.

"Fellow Daoists, we, the Chan Sect, will take our leave first."

Yang Jian cupped his hands in greeting and then led his men straight towards the location of Mount Ling.

Someone took the lead.

It was as if Pandora's box had been opened; they all said their goodbyes and left.

However, Fang Li and his group, who were in charge of maintaining order, did not move an inch.

They don't seem to be in a hurry to go to the place of inheritance.

This made the four siblings of Zhao Gongming from the Jie Sect, who originally wanted to leave with the crowd, hesitate for a moment.
