Chapter 25 Learning to Sword

"Hmm..." Qin Yuesheng tapped the table lightly with his fingers. "I need...all the sword manuals available in Qingyang City."

Even though Qin Zheng was used to the Qin family's wealth and power, he couldn't help but be stunned at this moment.

What is this young master trying to do? Is he going to start a new sect or something?

It takes an ordinary person decades to master a martial art, but mastering two or three martial arts is enough for him to practice for a lifetime.

If it is a more advanced martial art, it may be impossible to practice it to perfection even if you spend your entire life on it.

But don’t try to guess what the master is thinking. You won’t understand no matter how much you try.

Qin Zheng understood the meaning of this sentence very early on and nodded in response: "Yes, I'll do it right away."

"Also, I have one more thing to ask of you." Qin Yuesheng said.

"Master, this is serious. It's only natural for me to do things for you. There's no need to ask for anything. Just tell me directly."

"Well... forget it. You just need to do what you just did." Qin Yuesheng suddenly thought of something and ended the topic.

Qin Zheng didn't ask any more questions and retreated immediately.

Purchasing all the sword-fighting secret manuals currently on sale in the city is a huge project.

The moon was high in the sky, and Qingyang City was bright in the east and dark in the west. Some big red lanterns were hung on the streets, barely serving as a means of lighting at night.

There was no curfew in the Tang Dynasty, but Chang'an was the only city within its territory that was brightly lit day and night, with lights shining brightly throughout the day.

Although Qingyang City is bustling, at night, only the area with many brothels on the banks of the Gusu River will be brightly lit, as bright as day. In contrast, the western city area is completely dark as thick ink after nightfall, with only the shadows of houses visible.

Crunch!

A dilapidated horse-drawn carriage passed through the streets of Xicheng District.

Perhaps due to years of disrepair, the two wheels of the carriage would constantly make a creaking sound that made your whole body ache as they rolled on the ground.

A lantern with a flickering candlelight emitted a flickering light.

"vomit!!!"

The carriage came to a sudden stop, and the driver turned back to the curtain with a helpless look on his face and asked, "Master, do you want to get off and rest?"

After he finished speaking, the curtain was suddenly opened, and a young man with a dazed look and a flushed face crawled out unsteadily.

"vomit!"

Without waiting for him to say anything, he jumped out of the car, lay on the ground and vomited violently.

"Young master, please drink less in the future. Your body can't take it anymore." The coachman couldn't help but say.

"Ugh... You, you know nothing..." The boy wiped his lips and smacked his lips: "Bah."

"Alas." The driver shook his head.

"You wait here. I'm going to pee over there. I'll be back later." The young man lifted up his skirt and walked towards a small alley not far away while taking off his pants.

Seeing his unsteady and stumbling steps, the driver really wanted to go over and help him, but thinking of his young master's recent temper and mood, he gave up the idea.

"Burp! Damn it, as soon as the old man died, the family business went into recession, and everyone started looking down on me, these bastards." The boy held up his pants to support the bird, and leaned his head against the wall to maintain balance, muttering something over and over.

Bang!

Suddenly, a black object rolled out from the depths of the alley and hit the boy's feet.

"Damn, what the hell is this?" The boy's mouth was full of alcohol, and his eyes were so blurry that he could hardly see clearly.

So he raised his leg and kicked the thing hard, sending it flying. No one knew where it went.

The night breeze is cool.

"Sir, have you seen what I lost?" A voice like whispering in the ears suddenly sounded in the young man's ears.

He was so frightened that he shivered and looked behind him quickly.

But there was nothing.

"Who? Who's talking?"

A graceful figure slowly walked out from the darkness deep in the alley.

As she got closer, the boy was able to see her appearance clearly in the moonlight. She was actually a headless woman.

On this person's back, a one-eyed, skinny child hugged the woman's shoulders tightly and uttered tender words.

"Sir, have you seen what I lost?"

"Ghost, ghost, there is a ghost!"

In the dead of night, a scream suddenly rang out.

The driver's face changed instantly, and he quickly jumped off the carriage and ran towards the alley, but there was no sign of his young master in the alley. There were only water stains on the wall, indicating that someone had just been here.

Just then, the dark clouds drifted away from under the bright moon, and the moonlight sprinkled on the entrance of the alley.

When the driver saw the surrounding area clearly, his eyes widened in disbelief.

"How, how is this possible! How could this be Fu'an Hutong!"
