Chapter 43 The Mastermind

"It's better to die than to play tricks on others." Qin Yuesheng changed his fist into a palm, grabbed the copper iron rod and held it tightly. No matter how hard the big man tried, he couldn't move it even a little bit.

Click!

Qin Yuesheng pulled hard and pulled the big man towards him.

He instantly threw a tiger-shaped punch right at the opponent's face, making the bridge of his nose dented.

Without giving the big man any time to react, Qin Yuesheng slapped the big man's head to the ground again, and at the same time he kneed him in the face.

After suffering two consecutive heavy blows, the big man could not bear it anymore and looked like he was about to collapse.

Seeing the green light in his eyes, Qin Yuesheng knew that this man was not a human being. He showed no mercy and used all kinds of killing moves. After a while, the big man fell to the ground with blood holes all over his body, and he was dead.

Wow!

The moment the big man fell to the ground, a large amount of granular black mist floated out of his body. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a large amount of black sand.

Seeing the black sand suddenly covering him, Qin Yuesheng retreated instantly, putting some distance between himself and this strange thing. At the same time, he retreated to the side of the Demonic Evil Blade, pulled it out, and prepared for battle.

Because he didn't want to reveal his identity tonight, Qin Yuesheng did not carry the Evil-Suppressing Sword.

This sudden encounter with something that seemed to be sneaky and evil made him feel a little uneasy, and he didn't know whether he could deal with it with the Demonic Evil Blade alone.

Fortunately, after the black sand failed to wrap up Qin Yuesheng at the first moment, it gave up the pursuit and floated in the opposite direction towards the water pavilion, and finally disappeared into the building of the water pavilion.

With this example, Qin Yuesheng became much more cautious when dealing with the other green-eyed people.

Sure enough, after killing these people, the same black sand floated out of their bodies.

"There's a big problem with the water pavilion." Seeing all the black sand flying back to the water pavilion, the laughter and chatter coming from the direction of the water pavilion suddenly stopped. The silence was so sudden that it made people feel inexplicably creepy.

The candles and lights in the pavilion were extinguished one by one. In a few blinks of an eye, the entire pavilion was dark and completely merged into the night.

Qin Yuesheng's expression became increasingly serious. If he still couldn't figure out what was happening right now, he would be hopelessly stupid.

"I didn't expect there was such a secret here." Qin Yuesheng said inwardly.

The Seven Star Treasure Book that Bai Hao had given him before mentioned that some remote and desolate places were prone to the breeding of ghosts and evil spirits, which would eventually take on forms completely different from those of ghosts and evil spirits. This was called mystery.

It means difficult to describe, difficult to explain, and difficult to investigate.

Mysteries mostly appear in the form of architecture. Storytellers often tell stories about scholars who go to Beijing to take the imperial examinations and encounter Buddhist temples, dilapidated temples, official residences, farmhouses and the like on the way. They then stay there for one night, but wake up the next day to find themselves sleeping in the wilderness with no buildings around them at all.

This is what encounters mystery.

Stories are always beautiful, but in fact the death rate after accidentally entering a mysterious place is very high. Unless you are a rare person with the ability to deal with mysterious things, ordinary people who enter there will definitely die.

Qin Yuesheng has not yet mastered the "Soul-shattering Roar", a special skill recorded in the Seven Star Manual that is specifically used to deal with sneaky things. He knows that he is not capable of dealing with such a mysterious thing, and if he approaches it rashly, he will only die.

Looking at the ordinary people around him who had the same silly smile on their faces as Du Beilun, Qin Yuesheng walked up and slapped one of them. As Qin Yuesheng's hand rose and fell, red palm prints appeared on these people's faces at a speed visible to the naked eye.

They also woke up from their dementia due to the pain, and looked around in confusion, unable to understand why they appeared in such a place.

Saving them was already the most he could do. Qin Yuesheng had no intention of taking them away with him. He had some things to do, so he carried Du Beilun and Xu San on his shoulders and left quickly.

Hulao Village.

The village that was once famous in Meteorite Mountain has now become dead silent. The entire village is littered with broken limbs, heads and bloody clothes.

The overturned brazier and the spilled kerosene, along with the flames, had already begun to corrode the wooden village. For a moment, flames shot up into the sky and heat waves rolled out from the Three Cone Peak.

"Don't grab it, this is mine!"

"You've already got the jade necklace, so don't fight me for this glass horse."

"Everyone who sees it gets a share."

"Fuck you."

Several surviving bandits frantically searched the small buildings where Xu San usually lived for all the valuable items they could take away, but when they searched, they only found some worthless small pieces and no big items at all.

However, they didn't know that the truly valuable things were either stored in the stone warehouse of Hulao Village or packed up and taken away by Xu San.

Qin Yuesheng carried the two people up to the small building. As soon as he entered the room where Xu San lived, he saw three bandits with tattered clothes rummaging through the house.

"I didn't expect there were still some fish that slipped through the net." Qin Yuesheng put Xu San and Du Beilun down, walked forward and started to wipe them out completely. These bandits were used to robbing and idling around. You can't even expect them to turn over a new leaf and become good people.

The best thing to do is to send them on their way.

After dealing with those bandits, Qin Yuesheng found a rope and tied Xu San up tightly, then slapped him to wake him up.
