It was my first time going out to sea, and even though I had made a lot of preparations and set out with the caravan, I still encountered a storm.
The storm at sea has no reason at all. It will not be restrained because of your precious identity, nor will it be easily let go because of your low status.
The huge waves submerged everything. It was the most magnificent scene I have ever seen in my life.
In the face of the pure power of nature, individual strength seems so small and humble. How can the strength of thousands, tens of thousands, and hundreds of thousands of pounds be compared with the huge waves that stretch for hundreds or thousands of meters and can build up tens of meters high?
In the face of such terrible natural forces, all I could do was hold on to a piece of broken wood and drift with the current.
Many more things simply cannot be done.
Fortunately, such a terrible storm did not directly send me away. After struggling on the sea for seven days and seven nights, I returned to land.
I returned to the earth, to the land of Daxia.
The terrible storm and huge waves at sea had a great impact on me and caused serious physical injuries.
But at the same time, this opportunity to fight against nature has also given me a deep understanding of nature.
Fighting with the sky is endless fun, fighting with the earth is endless fun, fighting with people is endless fun.
For the first time in my life, I truly witnessed the most terrifying power of heaven and earth and nature.
And it was a terrifying power that I had no way to resist.
After recuperating at the seaside for several months, my lifelong injuries gradually recovered, and I also had a vague understanding in my heart. I braved the waves and obstacles at the seaside every day.
I have a vague feeling that I have realized a new skill, but my accumulation is too little, and I still cannot create it completely.
After four months of recuperation, I felt that my energy and spirit had returned to its peak. I once again found a merchant ship on the coast and set out to sea with it.
The days were not difficult, but on the third day of walking on the sea, I encountered a storm again.
I just can't understand it.
There is only one way to reach the Land of the Rising Sun, across the sea, but the dangers and risks in the sea are so great that they are beyond imagination.
Having encountered two storms in a row, my luck can be compared to that of the ancient Buddhist monk who crossed the sea.
The second storm was not as terrifying as the first, but that was only relative to the heaven and earth.
The natural power of nature is far beyond the imagination of mortals.
I struggled hard in this terrible storm, fighting for my life against the sky.
It was difficult to remember the years while wandering on the sea. When I woke up again, I reappeared on earth, but this time the earth was different from the Daxia I was familiar with. I seemed to have come to a country overseas.
All the people who were traveling with me are gone, they all died in the storm. I am the only one who drifted here holding on to a few pieces of planks. It can be said that it is pure luck that I was able to reach the country overseas.
I don't know where I am.
I just walked aimlessly in this world and found a family to stay with.
This world is quite strange. Living in it, I feel a vague sense of rejection that is difficult to explain.
The local residents also have a strong sense of rejection towards me. Fortunately, my spiritual power is very strong and close to that of a master. I can directly use hypnosis to make them no longer so repulsive to my senses.
Since I was unfamiliar with the place, I chose to live next to a family by the sea.
The local customs and habits here are very different from those in Daxia. Most of the people living here are short and thin, with strange faces.
They only eat some simple rice balls and vegetables on a daily basis, and eat very little meat.
It is clearly within my perception, whether it is in the mountains or in the rivers,
There are many birds and beasts in the ocean.
But they don't hunt at all, but instead eat foods with very little energy every day.
The customs of this world are very different from those of Daxia, but traces of Daxia can be seen in the speech and writing of each character. Their clothing is also similar to that of Daxia, but has its own development.
It’s just that the mountains and rivers here, and even the grass and trees, all have a faint sense of weirdness. After living here for half a month, I finally realized the reason for this weirdness.
I saw with my own eyes a psychic demonic monster emerge from a tree. At night, it walked openly on the earth, hunted down a local resident who had not yet returned home, and devoured him clean.
And I found that in the areas where I could sense, demons were everywhere. In the mountains, villages, rivers, plants, and even the oceans, there were these strange monsters that contained demonic energy.
I understand now, after coming here, there is a very important rule that they mentioned.
Don’t go out when it’s dark!
At night, hundreds of ghosts were roaming around, openly hunting ordinary people, and no one intervened or obstructed them. There were obviously official organizations here, and people like the head of the village.
I vaguely knew that I must have arrived in the Land of the Rising Sun.
The way people in this land behave, as well as the relevant local customs, are indeed not much different from what I learned from the spies.
But there are huge differences in the details. They are indeed not as full of characters as I thought. The vast majority of people are still like ordinary people in Daxia, or even worse than ordinary people in Daxia.
After all, they eat very little on a daily basis, and they eat very little meat, so they are all very thin, short, and rather small.
From my experience walking around here, the person who rules here might be taller, but not much taller.
There is also an inexplicable aura hidden in their bodies, and their faces and bodies will reveal some demonic features such as scales, tails, or ears.
