Chapter 212 Secret Planning

The abbot became more peaceful and friendly towards me.

Over the past five years, there have been many temptations from Kyoto. Even when the turmoil was at its worst, an elder who taught the skills in the temple died.

I wanted to leave on my own initiative, but the abbot stopped me. Without saying much, he just shook his head and stopped me firmly with his actions.

Many disciples in the temple have complaints about me, but they never say it in front of me.

I saw all this, but I didn't say anything.

To my surprise, as I walked forward to the deepest part of the temple, I saw a golden statue.

Yes, a golden statue of Buddha.

Those were the remains left behind by a man who achieved the status of Martial Saint through martial arts and died.

Just being close to you makes me feel close to you naturally.

The speed of practicing the Sutra of the Past Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva in the body involuntarily accelerated.

This is a Buddhist figure who achieved the status of a martial arts saint by practicing the Sutra of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Original Vow.

Even though he has been dead for many years, the solid and immortal will left here still flickers, so powerful that it is terrifying.

What makes me feel a little regretful is that this martial arts saint stood in the same place, and his eyes were empty.

He is blind!

It was a little beyond my expectation that a martial saint was blind.

After becoming a martial arts master, one can regenerate flesh and blood with the powerful blood and flesh essence, just like my right arm was broken, and it regenerated after I became a master.

His right hand has grown back, but this man who has become a martial arts saint still has empty eyes, which is really puzzling.

But I finally understood what the abbot of Osu Kannon Temple wanted me to do.

"This is the holy monk Jianzhen who traveled all the way to Chongyang Festival that year. He is also one of the founders of our sect.

"It's just that the ancestor passed away in such a hurry that he didn't leave behind a complete martial arts inheritance. However, an indestructible martial arts imprint was left within his body. From this martial arts imprint, we can comprehend the complete inheritance."

"So none of you have figured out the complete inheritance in all these years?"

"Amitabha, I am a poor monk with dull talent, and no one in the temple has ever appeared who can truly understand this method. However, when the master appeared, I felt something in his legacy, and I think this item is destined to be with you."

I understand what they want.

They hoped that I could comprehend the complete Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra from Jianzhen's relics and then leave it in the temple.

They were right and wrong at the same time.

What is correct is that I do have the Sutra of the Past Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, but what is wrong is that I do not need to obtain the Sutra of the Past Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva from Jianzhen’s martial arts relics.

But I still agreed, and sat cross-legged here quietly to practice, and comprehend the ideas left by Jianzhen.

I once again obtained the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra from Jianzhen's relics, but surprisingly, there was no essence, blood, or vigorous vitality in Jianzhen's relics. There was only a golden body of martial arts left.

Its interior was empty, leaving only a residual thought, which recorded the relevant Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Original Vow Sutra, as well as the key to becoming a martial saint in the world by relying on the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Original Vow Sutra.

Of course, there are two paragraphs left at the end.

"Wrong, it turns out I have been going the wrong way!"

"Don't leave my legacy to others, and don't spread the Dharma in Fusang."

There are only these two sentences. I don’t quite understand the first sentence, but I have some guesses about the second sentence. The country where the rising sun is located was called Fusang in ancient times.

This martial saint-level figure did not want to pass on the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra to the Land of the Rising Sun.

Or perhaps he did not want to pass on the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra to the people in this temple.

Come to think of it, if a martial saint really wanted to pass on his way of establishing himself and the foundation of his life, how could he suddenly pass away without leaving a chance to be preserved?

When I woke up from enlightenment, a bunch of people looked at me expectantly, but I just shook my head and said with regret.

"Unfortunately, I was not destined to be with him. I didn't gain much, only a part of his mental skills."

I did this on purpose. Judging from the many characters arranged by the Kingdom of the Rising Sun in Daxia, many of them have infiltrated the Jinyiwei, and some have chosen the Sutra of the Past Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

They know and understand the first three levels of the Dharma and general outline of the Sutra of the Past Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

And what I have said about the general outline of the mental method in the previous part is not considered a violation.

The disappointment on the faces of the temple abbot and related people was undisguised. At this moment, I even felt a kind of fierce and brutal aura from their spirits. The unsuppressible demonic nature, or animal nature in their hearts was restless, and I felt something was wrong.

But I didn't show it on my face.

My practice in the temple continued as usual, and I had some vague guesses about Monk Jianzhen.

This great monk, who became blind while crossing the sea, most likely preached excitedly after arriving here.

After all, coming to a wilderness that has never been opened up by humans to spread Buddhist beliefs and doctrines is simply an unparalleled achievement, comparable to Master Tripitaka who went to India to seek Buddhist scriptures.

However, this monk was blind, and perhaps there were many things he had never seen. When he was blind and deceived, he left behind relevant Buddhist traditions, but many of them were changed.

I learned some methods of controlling evil spirits in the Jiujiang area of the Land of the Rising Sun.

The Buddhist teachings that are meant to save others are used to control evil spirits and harm others.

Perhaps after entering the Grandmaster realm, this great monk understood the relevant situation in his mind, so he stopped teaching the Dharma and even hid the most important Dharma and did not spread it at all.
