Chapter 72: Tiangang Returns to Origin

I once asked the Taoist priest for a solution.

The old Taoist has extensive knowledge and extremely rich life experience. He actually has a way to see that I still don’t give up at the end of my life.

Then he told me the solution seriously.

"The dragon and tiger are fighting within your body, and have already treated you as an external elixir. External elixirs are usually extremely hard and difficult to break, and are usually made of top-notch divine gold such as gilded gold.

"If one can achieve success in enduring the struggle between a dragon and a tiger with a human body, one could become the best body refiner in the world. To persevere, one must practice the world's most advanced body refinement skills..."

"I have never practiced any physical training techniques, but I do possess a Taoist technique for extremely strong self-defense, the Tian Gang Gui Yuan technique."

As the old Taoist said this, he taught me Tiangang Guiyuan step by step.

This practice is completely different from normal practice.

Normal practice is to refine the essence into qi when the spirit is complete and the energy is sufficient, and the essence is abundant.

This exercise is done in reverse, refining Qi into essence, using Qi to strengthen one's own essence.

When practiced to the peak of strength and firmness, it is not inferior to the top body training method of Buddhism.

The old Taoist explained everything to me one by one, and all the spiritual medicines and essences needed for cultivation were collected for me from the Ten Thousand Mountains.

Unfortunately, I don’t have much talent, and it took me more than two years of practice to truly master this technique to the third level.

At this time, the true energy in my body began to get out of control.

The dragon and the tiger are already balanced, but I have the complete version of the Sutra of the Past Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, but the Sutra of the Three Lives of the Most High only contains the methods of practice for the first three levels.

I was able to maintain balance in the Zhenyuan realm for more than two years with the help of the old Taoist. During these two years, there have been many fights between dragons and tigers, all of which were suppressed by the old Taoist, but now I have finally reached my end.

Alas, there is no template for the protagonist after all, there are not so many paths to choose from in life, and there are not so many opportunities for trial and error.

I just hope I can pave a way for the main body.
