Chapter 45 Buddha

The light black true energy as black as ink flows in the body. Wherever it passes, the whole body feels comfortable. It seems that all 480 million pores are opened, and the energy and blood in the body are controlled into one.

After the marrow is washed and the blood is exchanged, the qi and blood are as vigorous as a furnace. Even heavy snow falling from the sky cannot condense outside the body and will directly turn into water droplets.

Now, the vigorous blood and the excess expanded essence have shrunk and turned into the inky true qi.

Having had the experience of practicing the Sutra of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to the sixth level, Zhang Mingtu once again practiced it with ease. The route he ran was so subtle and ingenious that even Buddhists would be amazed.

But there was a hint of worry on Zhang Mingtu's face. The Sutra of the Past Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva was ranked on the first page of the Divine Palace Ranking, which must be one of the best in the world. However, refining the wisp of true energy that was born in the body was not so smooth.

Zhang Mingtu chased and intercepted the extremely thin strand of true energy. When the true energy was extremely yin and soft and was not forced into a dead end, it moved flexibly, which was rarely seen in the world.

It would take a lot of effort to force it into a corner and then refine it by force. Zhang Mingtu could only stop it once an hour, but once it was cornered.

That wisp of true energy that seemed to be there and not there would become strong and powerful, suddenly and forcefully breaking through all the true energy that was blocking him, and then suddenly escaping at the most perfect moment.

It can be said that the true energy has both the etherealness of a dragon fist and the explosiveness of a tiger demon. It is both extremely hard and yang, and extremely yin and soft.

Fortunately, after many times of pursuit and interception, the wisp of true energy became smaller and smaller, and the training was finally effective.

After a period of practice, Zhang Mingtu stopped practicing. The black true energy cultivated from the Sutra of the Past Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva in his body could now flow freely inside his body, forming a cycle.

Donglin Temple, as one of the most famous temples in Jiangnan West Road, is known as the leader of the Pure Land Sect in Jiangnan West Road.

The mountains are connected in a continuous stretch, with temples located in between, with carved beams and painted rafters, and the Bodhisattvas and Buddhas in the temples all have golden bodies.

The most central Bodhisattvas that are worshipped daily are made entirely of gilded gold, not just covered with a layer of gold.

It is a first-class treasure in itself.

Ordinary martial artists who can obtain one or two taels of silver and refine them into weapons can be considered top-notch.

The Bodhisattvas and Buddhas enshrined in Donglin Temple are all made of it, which shows the luxury of Buddhism.

Even when he founded the country, Taizu Daxia suppressed all factions in the world and cut down mountains and destroyed temples countless times.

Countless Buddhist and Taoist temples were destroyed at that time.

However, both Buddhism and Taoism had top figures who stopped Taizu of Daxia several times. Later, top figures from both Buddhism and Taoism took the initiative to offer their magical powers.

In this way, Taizu took the initiative to stop the war, which was considered as accepting the submission of the two families.

Now, Daxia has been established for more than 800 years. After a long period of recuperation, the sects have regained their vitality. The Buddhist and Taoist sects, which are considered to be the leaders of all sects, are even more extravagant.

In the hidden temple complex of Donglin Temple, in front of a dilapidated small temple that is not open to the public, an old monk with white eyebrows sits cross-legged, silently reciting scriptures.

At this time, in front of the statue of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva enshrined in the small temple, an ancient bell rang quietly.

The old monk with white eyebrows was stunned for a moment, and the next moment a light more than a foot long shot out from his eyes, and his face was filled with ecstasy.

The bronze body suddenly stood up, faintly emitting a golden glow. Looking at the slightly glowing Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, his heart and eyes were filled with joy.

"Someone has successfully practiced the Ksitigarbha Sutra!"

In the ancient temple, several old monks suddenly appeared. Looking at the slightly glowing Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and the ancient bell that made sounds automatically without anyone striking it, their faces were filled with surprise and uncontrollable joy.

"Is this... true?"

"Does Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva really have a descendant in the world?"

"Have you checked various Pure Lands? I've checked all the monks in the temple, and no one has any connection with the Ksitigarbha Sutra."

Although many white-haired monks are extremely old, they are agile and have strong energy. At this moment, the excitement they exude makes it difficult for others to stand.

The air in the temple was frozen, and it was obvious that each of them was a top master.

The abbot, wearing a red cassock and holding a nine-ring staff, came quickly and reported the details of the situation.

"Is it from another temple?"

"We've already sent out notices and are investigating, but I don't think it's..."

After the initial excitement, the abbot gradually calmed down.

"When selecting disciples, we have already tested their talents. If there were anyone who could practice our sect's sacred text, they would have been discovered long ago, and the ancient bell would not be tolling by itself today."

"Then who can practice the Ksitigarbha Sutra? Could it be that my sacred text is still being passed down elsewhere?"

An elder from the Dharma Academy was puzzled.

Not only him, but many monks present also looked puzzled.

The Sutra of the Past Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is one of the most profound scriptures in this temple and will never be passed on to anyone else.

As for the leak of secrets, it is nonsense. The old monk with white eyebrows guarding the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Temple has white hair and is very old, and his movements are slow and weak.

In fact, his practice of the Diamond Sutra has reached the highest level, and his every move is extremely firm and masculine, and extremely strong.

It has been entrenched in the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Temple for many years, and its aura has become one with the temple. Anyone who wants to break in will be repelled by it.

Unless there is a martial saint who has washed his marrow and exchanged his blood more than nine times, all his internal and external acupoints are open, and his acupoints are connected to heaven and earth.

Otherwise, no one would be able to break through its defense by force.

The old monk has been guarding the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Temple for more than a hundred years, so it is impossible for the scriptures to be stolen.

"What exactly is going on?"
