"Did you find it?" Lucille excitedly took the notebook from Sean and looked at it carefully.

"Didn't I just say that I didn't find what you wanted, but I found these that are similar to magic. Can you see if they are related?" Since I didn't know much about magic props, I brought them together for the other party to see.

Looking at Lucille standing in front of her, the value displayed above her head remained unchanged.

It still has 8000 health points and 4000 mana reserves, but the favorability has become friendly. I didn't expect that the favorability is so easy to increase and it can go from cold to friendly in an instant.

I remember that when we first met yesterday, my impression of him was still lukewarm...and it became like this after just one day.

However, this is still quite true. Originally, people's attitudes can change with just a sentence or an action. If it were to be represented by a bunch of numbers like in a game, then this world would truly be a game world.

He looked at Lucille who was still concentrating on the notes in the notebook.

It's strange to say, when I saw her yesterday, she was just an ordinary woman wrapped in black animal skin clothes, but at night she turned into a fashionable girl, and she was dressed like this even in winter.

She wore a black fur coat, a simple yet exquisite leather dress underneath, and a large expanse of white hair below her neck, most notably the teardrop-shaped necklace beads. She was quite beautiful, at least in the first two weeks since Sean arrived in this world, none of his maids or the young women in the town could compare to her.

She was looking at it very intently. Even when I told her that she didn't find the disc she wanted, she didn't look disappointed at all. Instead, she was very excited.

"What are these things?"

"Magic props, and rare ones at that... As expected, this place must have been the hiding place of a witch, just as I thought." Lucille said.

Hiding place?

Does this mean that there was a witch in this place before, Sean thought to himself.

"You mean there has been a witch in my territory? This record should be from more than 60 years ago. If there was a witch at that time, there should be a record." Sean said.

"Although some wizards look like ordinary people on weekdays, they only show their abilities at special times. They are accustomed to holding gatherings in certain secret places." The hand stopped flipping the book, and the seductive eyes looked at Sean.

"You are like this too? You are indeed a good disguiser."

Sean chuckled to himself.

The other party did not refute, and of course did not admit it.

"It has nothing to do with who it is. We certainly have our own troubles." He closed the book and threw it directly on the table.

"Do you know why these archaeologists can't guess the owner of the ancient tomb? It's because this place was once a gathering place for wizards, and wizards have entered many times over the past few hundred years. That's why the things unearthed here have become so complicated."

At this time, the book had been blown by the cold wind for several nights, and dense text records appeared on the pages.

"Look at this hanging bell. It's used as a magical protective tool. Judging from the description of its shape, it must be from a hundred years ago. It's no longer used in this style."

Lucille and Sean seemed like experts in magic, knowing its origin and timeline just by looking at its appearance description.

However, Sean closed the book and looked up at the other person.

"This is your wizard's business and has nothing to do with me. Our deal is that I help you find things and you teach me spells."

Compared to these complicated common sense and habits that take many years to develop, Sean still feels that learning the magic in front of him is more important.

"Of course, Witch Lucille never breaks her promise!"

Today, the other party's raven was not around and she came here alone. This was the time they agreed on. Every night Lucille would come here to teach her magic. As for how well she could learn, it depended on Sean's ability.

She took off her tall wizard hat, revealing her long silver hair, and her blue pupils showed a special and mysterious feeling under the candlelight.

"Take this..."

"What?"

Looking at the long stick handed over by the other party.

"Wand. Since I have all these things with me, I can only give you this one for now. It can improve your efficiency in using magic and is a very useful magical prop."

It is slightly longer and thicker than chopsticks, and feels like a short weapon.

"You gave it to me, so why don't you use it?"

Looking at each other, I smiled and blinked...

"Lucille Witch is much stronger than you think."

Then he began to instill some basic magic knowledge into Sean, such as how to obtain it, how to use it, etc.

Sean discovered that this was knowledge from a completely different subject, and it even overturned his common sense... No, it should be said that the common sense of this world was different from what he imagined, and there were many differences.

For example, red and green blend into yellow. This simple common sense is actually wrong in this world.

There are many similar situations, and almost all of them are different from the common sense I know...

I originally thought that learning magic would require talent or something related to the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, just like in novels, and that one could master it immediately by using Zen and more imagination. However, I didn't expect that common sense would be wrong.
