It was already night when we returned to the town. The winter night comes quickly and it was completely dark almost three hours into the day.

Roofs gradually began to appear in the north of the town... This was Luke's idea.

Since no one knows when it will snow again, Luke arranges for the young people in the town to take turns doing rescue work during the day and at night, hoping to clear the road before the next heavy snow comes.

Even though Sean had brought out the bodies of the victims in Buxi Village, a large number of them were still buried under the houses, which were more difficult to dig out. Moreover, the road leading to Xi Village had to be reopened, and the sooner the better in winter.

"Sir, leave this to me. You've been busy all day. Go down and rest."

Luke said to Sean after dinner.

This may be the case most of the time in the future. It will be too exhausting for you to keep waiting.

"Well, thank you for your hard work."

After two battles in one day, Sean did feel a little tired, but he didn't act pretentiously.

He looked around the crowd and didn't see the archaeological team, guessing they had gone back, so he simply said a few words to Luke and went home to rest.

It will probably take several days for Dante to go to the nearest city of Koga to request reinforcements. For now, he can only rely on his own guards and the townspeople for help.

Back home, everything was very quiet. Almost everyone had been sent to the disaster area. Only the old housekeeper, Kalibo, was left behind because of his age...

"Is the master back?"

"Yeah." He nodded.

"Your Excellency looks very tired. I've also heard about the situation over there. It's so cruel! Why did we in Thelemian have to suffer such a disaster? This kind of thing hasn't happened in the town for many years." Kalibo was also a native of Thelemian, and he was equally sad to hear about what happened in Xi Village.

"Has a similar situation ever occurred before?"

"Probably when I was a kid, but that was a forest fire. There used to be fruit growers in the Thermian area, and they made a good income... It was after that fire that the entire Orchard Hill was completely destroyed, and hundreds of people died! It was the worst fire ever."

Kalibo may be older than the previous generation of Baron Weigel.

When he was a child, that must have been traced back to his grandfather's generation! No, even if that generation was still young, it must have been the generation before that.

"I have asked Dante to go to Koga City to find Earl Hamilton. I hope he can give us help. We will handle it." After all, as a local leader, Sean cannot sigh or others will become more insecure.

Looking at the [Relieved!] sign that appeared above Kalibo's head, Sean smiled.

"If anything happens in the disaster area, please come and tell me. I'm going to rest first."

"Yes, sir. You've had a tiring day too!"

After saying that, Sean walked up to the dark upper level of the attic alone with a candle. There was originally someone guarding this place downstairs, but everyone in the family was called out, so it was very quiet today and there was not even anyone to light a candle.

I walked all the way back to the room and through the crack in the door, I suddenly found that there was light inside!

Open the door.

Lucille, who was half lying on the table, raised her head, her expression slightly sleepy.

"Why did you come back just now?"

Sean didn't expect that the other party would come directly into his room. He looked towards the window...the raven was just staying there.

I also saw the ability of this pet in today's battle. It turns out that this guy also has magic power!

"Why are you here so early..."

"Didn't you ask me to come here?" Lucille asked back.

At night, she looked completely different. The loose thick fur coat was indeed made of tight leather, her long silver hair curled to her shoulders, and her fair face and big eyes were completely different from the daytime look!

As for the lips~press?

Sean suddenly noticed that the other person's lips looked particularly bright red under the candlelight, much brighter than before.

Is this... a special dress up for today?

"Why, you called me over here just to see me?!"

If Lucille had said this on a normal day, she would have stood up proudly. However, today she seemed listless. Sean noticed that she was in a state of "sleepy!"

It seems that I am not in a good condition today.

I don’t know if it’s because I was so sleepy from being alone in the room, but before, Lucille wouldn’t feel sleepy even if she stayed up late with me!

Only then did Sean notice that the opponent's magic value... had just recovered to 2000, exactly half.

This was probably the reason why, even though I had only used one spell, I was still feeling groggy.

It turns out that the wizard's magic recovery is so slow.

"I called you here to ask you something!" Since you are tired, just finish your talk and leave.

"About Bachler?"

"And you... I thought about it carefully later. There must be a special reason why my town can attract great wizards like you to come here from far away. Is it related to the thing you asked me to find before?" Sean did not sit face to face with Lucille, but sat on the bed alone.

The two looked at each other across the carpet in the room...

"Although we agreed not to ask about your affairs, it's different now. My town has suffered such a disaster. If I don't ask clearly, who knows what will happen next. What exactly is that thing? Who said it would be here with me?"
