Chapter 99: Map Drawing (Part 2)

Remember [ ] in one second, no pop-up windows, fast updates, and free reading!

Not really.

Even if my drawings are not so formal, those simple maps look about the same.

Sean remembered that he had used a small map when he was in Thelmian before, but it only showed the area around the town... At that time, he could see the people on the map, but now he can't see them!

What is the difference?

Comparing it with the large map on the table, Sean looked carefully at every little detail, even comparing the lines on the streets.

Of course, this simple drawing of mine couldn't possibly be detailed enough to include streets. I could only roughly outline the route from Telemian to Koga...

Still no change.

Sean was a little confused and looked at the route on the big map again.

Suddenly he noticed that there were actually names marked on the edge of the route. Could it be a name?

I looked at my drawing again and realized that I had not yet marked any names on it, so I marked the names of Telemian and the surrounding mountains, including the last city of Koga.

Slowly let go...

Still no change.

Sean even tried to use magic to make the map appear.

But the prompt is [No Effect]...

Things that you can see don't require magic to complete, so of course it will be prompted that there is no effect.

Which link is missing?

Why does my own painting have no effect, but others' painting has an effect?

Not to mention those with very precise scale markings, other very ordinary maps probably look like this!

Why can other people's drawings work but mine don't? Even magic has no effect...

For a moment, Sean was troubled by the map problem. What should he do?

Or does it mean that my words must be drawn very accurately? Who made this decision? Why does it have to target me?

Leaning back in the chair and looking at the ceiling...

I feel like I have absolutely no clue what to do.

The food on the table had long been cold. I had been studying the map since the evening and had not had time to eat. I only felt hungry after I stopped.

When I opened the lunch box that was delivered to me, I guess the little witch packed it for herself. The whole wooden box was full of meat!

It looks quite appetizing, but after it gets cold, a thick layer of fat forms on the skin, and it tastes like cold oil, and the flavor has long been covered by the cold oil.

Sean wasn't picky and just took it and ate it. He didn't even bother to look at the table and opened the window to enjoy the scenery outside the street.

I remember that the weather was relatively mild when I was in Koga City. The further north you go, the higher the temperature at night seems to be. If you stay in a room for a long time, you will feel very hot... Once you open the window, you will feel comfortable.

After eating a few bites of meat, I felt that it had no taste. Mainly because I had no appetite. After the hunger passed, I didn’t want to eat anymore.

Put the box down...

Sean suddenly noticed that the word "Map" appeared in his field of vision. There was originally only one, but now it has become two!

map.

He looked hurriedly at the table.

In addition to the large map of Telemian which remained the same, the name also appeared on the simple map he had drawn earlier.

The appearance of a name means that this picture is confirmed as a map!

Sean looked at the simple map he had just drawn, and sure enough, a plan view of mountains and forests appeared.

Done.

It worked!

I was so excited that I picked it up and looked at it carefully...

There was nothing special displayed on the map, just a topographic map of Telemian and the area around Koga City, a bit like a still photo taken from a high altitude.

Because the vegetation on the mountain is unevenly distributed, some places are even dazzling. If you don’t look carefully for the roads hidden in the mountains and forests, you will probably not find the route. You can only see it clearly on the main road.

In Sean's opinion, this kind of map is a topographic map, which allows you to intuitively see the terrain structure of the area and does not show any people.

Because the scope is too large!

A city is only the size of a fingernail, how is it possible to see people there?

If those little green and white dots really appeared, the proportions would be wrong.

However, this fixed floor plan is not restricted by day and night, and the terrain structure can be observed at any time, unlike the large city map on the table which is not affected by day and night lighting.

In this case, if you want to use them in the future, you must first confirm their purpose. Anyway, most people use maps for a purpose, and people who are going on a long journey are unlikely to take out a city map, so Sean is not worried about this.

Before it was too late at night, Sean tried a few more times, and the results were all positive...

However, the common sense gained from these few times allowed Sean to roughly master the method of drawing maps.

First, you need to determine the location, and then the general direction. For example, the city of Koga is in the north of Telemian and you can't get it to the south, otherwise the [map] won't show up.

After getting the position right, it is time to name it, which is also very important.

If the name is not written, it will not be possible to become a [map] later. After having these two things, it will take a certain amount of time to complete the drawing.

Just like the CD for making an item, after a period of time, as long as you confirm that it is a [Map], you can use it normally.

Of course, if you want to see a map of the entire city in real time, you still have to use very accurate surveying like Karyana. Another condition is that you need to walk through it yourself to see it.

You can’t see any city you haven’t been to by just picking one, and you need to visit all of it, otherwise the places you haven’t visited will remain in the shadows.
