Chapter 107 Breakthrough to the Nascent Soul Stage

As the life simulation ended, Han Feng kept option 1.

In the life simulation, he became an ordinary person, and all his insights about time and life and death were absorbed into his mind.

Han Feng began by reflecting on the passage of time, as countless memories surfaced before his eyes.

When he became a private tutor, he watched batches of students leave under his tutelage.

When these students first entered the school, the youngest was only five or six years old, and the oldest was no more than ten.

Under Han Feng's guidance, they grew from clueless children into well-mannered teenagers.

Adolescence transforms into youth, then into middle age, and finally into old age.

These students had very different experiences; some were obsessed with fame and fortune, some became wealthy businessmen, and some could only live ordinary lives.

They were Han Feng's students, but their family backgrounds and circumstances were different, destined to lead them down different paths.

No one can predict what will happen to them in the future.

Only as time goes by can we know where they are headed.

Han Feng learned a lot from his students, and next he learned in the imperial court.

The imperial court was rife with intrigue and deceit, and he was full of passion, but as the years passed, that passion faded.

The faces of his fellow villagers and neighbors appeared before his eyes.

But as time went by, these faces gradually aged until they passed away one by one.

Han Feng then thought of himself, noting the many marks that time had left on him.

His handsome face was gone, replaced by a face full of wrinkles, and his black hair had been completely dyed white.

Her hair, black as silk in the morning, turned to snow by evening!

The children who were just under our care have unknowingly grown up.

The scene shifts, and their children have entered their forties; their children have also grown up.

But I'm too old to walk anymore, and my children are all gray-haired.

...

Han Feng's understanding of the passage of time deepened, and his aura continued to rise.

He finally comprehended the Great Dao of Time, and his cultivation level broke through to the Nascent Soul stage.

"There's another main road!"

Han Feng did not stop cultivating, but instead delved into the Dao of Life and Death.

The deaths of fellow villagers, the deaths of students he taught, the deaths of political enemies, and so on.

These images flashed before Han Feng's eyes, and his understanding of life and death deepened considerably.

The most crucial thing is one's own understanding at the moment of death. Lying in the coffin, Han Feng personally experienced the distance between life and death.

The living weep in sorrow, while the dead seem to want to tell their story.

The two are very close, yet they can never touch each other.

Han Feng then thought of the last scene: Hu Qingshuang crying so sadly, and he had no way to comfort her.

"I wish I had the ability to transcend life and death!"

He had already put himself in the shoes of a mortal, wanting to be resurrected from the coffin to comfort his wife.

Han Feng truly comprehended the Dao of Life and Death, and a "Tai Chi Diagram" materialized behind him.

In this "Tai Chi diagram," white represents life, while black represents death.

The formation of the Great Dao of Life and Death further boosted Han Feng's aura.

With the convergence of the two Great Daos, Han Feng's strength upon advancing to the Nascent Soul stage was far greater than that of an ordinary Nascent Soul stage cultivator.

As he contemplated the great principles of life, death, and time, Hu Qingshuang was also influenced.

Hu Qingshuang was in the cave, very close to Han Feng, and was also influenced by the two great paths. She had a very long dream.

In her dream, she became Han Feng's wife and bore him children.

She stayed by Han Feng's side as he grew old, until he reached the end of his life.

Faced with her husband's death, she couldn't control her emotions and started crying uncontrollably.

Hu Qingshuang felt like her whole world was collapsing; she had never been so heartbroken.

Her "sorrow" gradually became complete, and her aura grew stronger and stronger.

Once Han Feng's understanding of the Dao of Life and Death is complete, Hu Qingshuang's understanding of the Dao of Sorrow will also be complete.

After completing the Dao of Sorrow, her cultivation level broke through to the early stage of the Nascent Soul realm.

After Hu Qingshuang broke through, she did not fully emerge.

She began to yearn for the world of her dreams, feeling that it was reality, while reality was an illusion.

In her dream, she gave up cultivation and was willing to spend the rest of her life with the mortal Han Feng.

Even though the dream was almost over, Hu Qingshuang still couldn't grasp reality and forcibly remained in the dream.

There's a saying that it's like Zhuangzi dreaming of a butterfly, or the butterfly dreaming of Zhuangzi.

"Was it really just a dream?" Hu Qingshuang murmured to herself.

Her aura grew stronger and stronger as she comprehended the Dream Path, in addition to the Path of Sorrow.

The Dream Path is considered quite good among the Three Thousand Great Daos, much better than the Sorrow Path, only slightly inferior to Han Feng's Age and Life and Death Paths.

Hu Qingshuang had not fully comprehended the Dao of Dreams and was still lingering in the dream world.

Han Feng was unaware that because of his actions, Hu Qingshuang had achieved her goal of finding a perfect path, and had even gained another avenue for her to follow.

"Next, we just need to devour the Path of Hatred."

Han Feng allowed the passage of time and the Dao of Life and Death to jointly devour the Dao of Hatred.

Sensing danger, Hendao transformed into the form of Tianmu.

It unleashed endless hatred upon Han Feng, attempting to possess him first.

Two versions of himself suddenly appeared beside Han Feng, one of whom was a schoolteacher dressed in Confucian robes.

The other one is Han Feng in black and white; the white side represents his younger self, and the other half represents his older self.

The power of time and life and death flowed towards the Path of Hatred, and soon the Path of Hatred was disintegrated and absorbed by the two "Han Fengs".

Han Feng continued cultivating for a while, completely dissolving the hatred, and his aura became much stronger.
