The structure of Silent Media is different from other companies.
In a normal company, after entering the front desk is the clock-in place, then there are the employees' workstations, and further inside is the boss's office. The boss's office must have a wide view and a desk that can accommodate at least one secretary.
Then, there must be a lot of corporate culture posters, photos of outstanding employees, and some awards hanging on the walls. In short, it looks very grand and introverted.
But in He Jiaoyang's opinion, this office was too ordinary.
Apart from the normal workstations, there are no grand offices. Instead, there is only a screening room that is nicely decorated.
Does their boss just sit at an ordinary workstation?
He Jiaoyang took a quick look and saw that the employees were all in front of their computers, opening various editing or post-processing software that He Jiaoyang was unfamiliar with, without even looking at him. He also did not find Lu Ban and wondered where the director had gone.
However, He Jiaoyang saw what seemed to be a series of footprints on the ground.
The footprints looked like those of some small animal, extending deep inside.
“Do people here keep cats?”
He Jiaoyang squatted down and looked at the footprints. The cat might have stepped on coal dust, making them a little dirty.
"What's wrong? The projection room is over there, and the machine is there too."
At the side, a male employee glanced at He Jiaoyang and asked curiously.
"Nothing, the cats you have here are pretty free."
He Jiaoyang stood up and smiled.
“We don’t have cats here.”
The employee looked at He Jiaoyang suspiciously and answered.
He Jiaoyang's heart suddenly trembled.
When he looked at the footprints more carefully, he found that they were not caused by coal ash, but were composed of layers of thick black fog!
In other words, this was left by a ghost!
Thump thump thump——
His heartbeat quickened and he looked at the employees again.
The employees were busy with their work and their clothes were relatively clean, unlike the woman sitting at the front desk who was deeply sinful.
These people are still in the dark, so they need to be reminded.
"Ahem, there might be some problems here, air pollution or something, it's best to get off work early."
He Jiaoyang reminded.
"It's OK. The formaldehyde has been removed. The people from the testing company came before and there is no problem."
The employee looked at He Jiaoyang and pointed at the screening room.
"The screening room is over there, hurry up and fix it. If you have any questions, you can ask me. Or I can take you there to have a look?"
He stood up.
He Jiaoyang had no choice but to follow him towards the innermost screening room.
"My name is Bai Qiquan. You can ask me anything. Our projector broke down yesterday. Only the light came on, but no picture came out. I checked the bulbs and they are fine. I don't know what happened."
The employee was quite talkative and kept talking as he walked.
He Jiaoyang discovered that among their workstations, the black fog in front of a computer was the most serious, even worse than that of the Ghost King at the front desk, so he asked tentatively.
"Is that Director Lu Ban's position?"
"Yeah, you have a good eye. That's Director Lu's seat, but he's not there most of the time."
Bai Qiquan replied as he pushed open the door of the screening room.
The company's screening room uses the same equipment as a movie theater. It can be said that the picture effects and texture played in this screening room are exactly the same as what the audience sees in the movie theater.
Some students may ask, is there any difference between the images seen on the computer screen and those seen in the cinema?
The answer is yes.
There are color differences between different monitors. The same color will be displayed differently in monitors of different brands and prices. Sometimes design students will buy monitors of different brands to check the final effect. The screen in a movie theater is even more different. In a completely dark environment, the picture that can be presented with sufficient illumination and high resolution cannot be easily reproduced by ordinary monitors.
For example, some movies, in order to save money on cheap special effects, have most of the scenes shot at night. It is still watchable in the cinema due to the high illumination, but it will become a blur when watched on a computer with a worse screen.
He Jiaoyang definitely doesn’t know how to repair a projector.
He looked at the employees in Lu Ban's company and felt that they were decent people and did not seem like people who would do bad things. He Jiaoyang put down his suitcase and pretended to look at the projector, asking questions while watching.
"You guys are in frequent contact with actors. Is that hard?"
"No, we are only responsible for the post-production editing and synthesis. Director Lu's filming has nothing to do with us."
Bai Qiquan replied that he didn't understand what the master was repairing, but it looked quite professional anyway.
"It's okay? Aren't you going to the filming site?"
After hearing Bai Qiquan's answer, He Jiaoyang felt more and more that this might be a ghost company set up by Lu Ban.
Lu Ban drives ghosts to shoot movies, and then throws the footage to these employees for editing, and finally makes money from it. The ghost king at the front desk is the one who supervises these people!
Maybe after a while, a new group of people will be replaced!
"No, we don't have the qualifications."
Bai Qiquan saw that the master had been chatting for a long time and had not even taken apart the machine to take a look, so he asked.
"Master, do you need any tools? How about I get them for you?"
He glanced at He Jiaoyang's suitcase.
"No, no."
He Jiaoyang immediately took the briefcase back. If this young man saw that his suitcase was full of crosses and peach wood swords, he would be kicked out immediately, and might even be caught and refined by Lu Ban.
He thought that he did not have the ability to repair the machine, and after a quick look, he saw that there were indeed signs of ghost influence on Lu Ban's side, so it would be better to run away as soon as possible without anyone noticing.
At this moment, He Jiaoyang suddenly saw that there seemed to be a girl in white standing in front of the screen in the screening room.
The girl had a pale face and was wearing white clothes similar to Hanfu. She had thick black hair and there was no white in her eyes, only pitch black.
Click——
He Jiaoyang's heart tightened. He did not foolishly ask Bai Qiquan whether he had seen this girl, because He Jiaoyang could tell at a glance that this guy was not a human!
It was the first time he saw a real ghost!
In the blink of an eye, the girl came to the side of the projector. Cold sweat broke out on He Jiaoyang's forehead. He swallowed and found that the girl was staring at him straight, as if waiting for something.
He Jiaoyang's body became stiff and he glanced at Bai Qiquan who acted as if nothing had happened.
"This may need to be sent back to the factory for repair. I'll go ask the manufacturer first."
He Jiaoyang's voice began to tremble. He silently took a few steps back and picked up his suitcase.
Then, he left the screening room as if he was escaping. Looking back, he saw Bai Qiquan who had followed him out and the female ghost with her head tilted beside him.
It was not until he walked out of the building and into the sunshine that He Jiaoyang finally breathed a sigh of relief.
At Silent Media, Qin Tiantian, who was playing games, took a glance and saw a middle-aged man in blue work clothes standing at the front desk.
"Hello, I'm here to fix the projector."
The uncle said.
"Oh, to fix the projector. Please register here. The projection room is inside."
Qin Tiantian pointed to the electronic registration board beside him.
After the other party registered and played games for a while, Qin Tiantian suddenly raised his head.
"Has the conversation just now already happened once?"
“Am I in a loop?”
