Chapter 127: Kalu

In Sandnes, Rogaland County, Norway, the elderly Kalu was walking alone on the street, carrying a beer bottle. The street was empty except for Kalu himself.

Kalu has fiery red hair, but at this moment his hair is messy, like a chicken coop, and there is no cleanliness at all.

His face was slightly red and he walked unsteadily, looking like he had drunk quite a bit of alcohol.

He staggered two steps, drank the beer in his hand, threw the beer bottle casually into the corner of the road, and continued to stagger towards home.

The government is evacuating the people, saying that Jörmungandr and Fenrir have attacked the cities, and two cities on the western coast have been destroyed.

Humph, would my clever, brave, intelligent and kind-hearted Karu believe the nonsense told by the government?

Kalu's face was flushed and he was staggering as he walked. Finally, he chose to lie down in front of a closed shop on the roadside to relieve the smell of alcohol.

"Do you think I'm a three-year-old? Jörmungandr? Fenrir?"

Kalu muttered, his words showing no disbelief in the joint announcement issued by the five Nordic countries: "Why didn't the government say that Thor and Odin have returned, the Age of the Gods has returned, and Asgard has returned?"

Kalu believed that this was a lie made up by the government in order to gain some special benefits. As for Jörmungandr and Fenrir shown on TV, they were projections created by the government through some technical means!

Just like in "The Amazing Spider-Man", don't think that I don't watch movies just because I'm an old man!

As for what kind of special benefits he wants to gain... I'm sorry, Kalu hasn't figured it out yet, but he must not let the government succeed!

Thinking of this, Kalu exhaled deeply. His whole body was filled with a special smell of alcohol, as if he was a drunkard who was soaked in a pool of wine. It smelled terrible.

"Karu, I've been looking for you for a long time, why are you here?!"

A police car roared up and stopped in front of Kalu. A tall, handsome, young white inspector got out. He looked at Kalu, frowned, and said, "Hurry up and get in the car. Jörmungandr is approaching Sandness. If you don't leave now, you won't have a chance."

"Is Jörmungandr approaching Sanesh?"

After a burp, Kalu burst into laughter, and it seemed that he had laughed out tears. "You let Jörmungandr come! I will stand here and let Jörmungandr eat me!"

"It's all a conspiracy. You want to trick me into leaving. You want to cheat me out of my money!"

"Burp, hey, drink!"

"Hehe, that shitty Odin, that shitty Thor, they all have to die, I'm the boss!"

Kalu was already drunk and a little unconscious, and the inspector frowned and said repeatedly: "We won't cheat you of your money. Your nephews and nieces have already evacuated Norway, and your brother left long ago. Hurry up! I have disobeyed the orders of my superiors just to get you!"

The young inspector's name is Nesef, and he is Kalu's neighbor. Kalu was also a policeman when he was young, but his luck was not so good. He saw his boss and his fiancée having an affair.

He resolutely reported his superior...Then Kalu was fired, while the superior he reported was promoted all the way to the current Inspector General. As a result, he hated officials and women very much, thinking that officials were all despicable and women were all pigs.

Every time the Norwegian government announced various policies, Karoo was the first to oppose them, and he only supported them once: lowering the price of wine.

Although Kalu disliked Nessef very much, Nessef felt pity and sympathy for the old policeman, so he violated the instructions of the Inspectorate and drove alone to find Kalu.

"Mr. Kalu, I am forcibly restricting your freedom under Article 17 of the Nordic Joint Directive!"

After saying sorry to Kalu in his heart, Nesev immediately controlled Kalu, forcibly escorted him into the inspector's car, detained Kalu as a criminal, and fixed Kalu in the inspector's car.

Nessef is young and strong, and Kalu is old and weak. Just look at his current drunken state. It would be easy for Nessef to capture him without any effort at all.

But Nesev knew that he would soon be bombarded by Mr. Kalu.

"Nesef, let me go, you bastard, you government lackey!"

Kalu kept swearing in the back seat of the inspector's car, but Nesev had no time to pay attention to Kalu and concentrated on starting the car.

He could already feel the ground shaking slightly!

This means that Jörmungandr is approaching rapidly!

Nesev naturally knew the situation was serious, and quickly started the engine, but no matter what he did, the inspection car wouldn't start.

After starting the car three or four times in a row, Nesef's face changed drastically. He punched the steering wheel and cursed, "This inspector general, who is raised by his niece, dares to embezzle the public funds for the inspector's car?!"

Under normal circumstances, there is absolutely no room for problems with the inspection car, but now his inspection car has a problem.

There is no doubt that there is something fishy here!

"asshole!"

As the ground shook more and more, Nesef's face grew worse and worse. Kalu also realized the violent shaking and half sobered up. He couldn't help but ask in panic, "What's going on? Is there an earthquake?"

"No, it's Jörmungandr."

Nesef smiled bitterly and pointed at the scaleless snake, a horn of which could already be seen in the distance. He untied Kalu and said, "Mr. Kalu, we can't leave. Now... we can only wait for death."

At this moment, Kalu seemed to have completely sobered up. He looked around in panic and said anxiously, "Drive away! The car can't run away. Let's get out and walk!"

"it's useless."

Facing death, Nessef felt calmer than he had imagined. "According to the notice from the Inspectorate, as Jörmungandr approaches, a massive flood is also coming our way. We absolutely cannot outrun it."

Hearing this, Kalu fell into despair instantly.

As Jörmungandr's figure got closer and closer, the earth began to tremble violently. At this moment, Kalu seemed to have heard the roaring flood in the distance.

Regret, now there is only endless regret.

Nesef, who was originally very calm, changed his expression and his hands began to tremble when he saw the flood coming towards his bee cocoon.

Huge waves are rolling in, leaving no grass behind where the flood passes, houses are collapsed, and everything is swept away by the flood!

"It's over!"

Nesef closed his eyes, but the expected flood did not appear. Instead, there was a curtain of light and... a thunderstorm in the sky!

In this thunderstorm, there stood a figure, extremely handsome and graceful.
