"Hello, Mom, it's me, Xiao Ran," Xiao Ran said calmly.
Hearing Xiao Ran's voice, Yan's mother on the other end of the phone was taken aback.
Her tone softened considerably, "Oh, Xiao Ran."
I was just calling my daughter, why did Xiao Ran answer? This is such a mess.
