Yun Muye stared at Zhou Zhichuan with dark eyes, and the big hand on his shoulder tightened inch by inch. Gu Zhinian frowned slightly and struggled.
"Let me go."
In public, Gu Zhinian didn't want to be the focus of everyone's attention. He lowered his head, raised his hand and clenched his big hand, trying to pull it away, but he grabbed it tightly with his backhand and couldn't move.
Zhou Zhichuan's dark eyes fell on their tightly clasped hands, he pursed his lips, suppressed the irritability in his heart, and stretched out his hand.
"Hello, nice to meet you again. I'm Zhou Zhichuan."
Yun Muye stretched out his hand and shook it, his voice low and hoarse.
"Yun Muye!"
The two men clasped their hands together, their eyes secretly confronting each other. After just a moment, they let go of their hands. Zhou Zhichuan nodded and looked at Gu Zhinian, his tone gentle and slow.
"Zhi Nian, I'll go first. We'll talk next time."
"good."
Zhou Zhichuan nodded, turned and left.
Yun Muye listened to their conversation, his eyes darkening. He used force on his hands to hold her tightly in his arms. Gu Zhinian didn't notice and fell on his chest. The strong masculine scent hit her face, and she was so panicked that her heart almost stopped beating.
"No! Let me go!"
Gu Zhinian supported her hands on his chest and tried to push him away, but the hot big hands on her waist pressed against her, holding her tightly against his hard chest.
Yun Muye raised his hand and tucked the hair hanging by her ears behind her ears. Her ears felt burning hot. Gu Zhinian bit her lips and didn't dare to look up because of shame.
How could he treat her like this? Didn't he love Tangyuan's mother? Hadn't he been waiting for her to come home?
Why did he bother to provoke her? Was he worthy of Tangyuan's mother? Was he worthy of Tangyuan?
What did he think of her? How could he humiliate her like this, hugging her in public, in front of others? How could she face others? How would others see her?
As Gu Zhinian thought about it, his eyes gradually turned red and he felt like crying out of grievance.
Yun Muye panicked, pinched her chin with his big hand, reached out, and carefully wiped away her tears.
"Zhi Nian, what's wrong? I'm sorry, I..."
Everyone around looked at the two of them curiously. Gu Zhinian felt embarrassed and annoyed. She clenched the note in her hand and looked up at him.
"Captain Yun, I'm sorry, I can't continue this babysitting job. When Tangyuan goes to kindergarten, I guess they won't need me anymore. I'd better resign. Thank you for taking care of me during this time."
Gu Zhinian turned around and left, walking slowly out. She still had some money on her, so she went to a hotel to stay for one night and then went to the staff quarters to pick up her luggage early tomorrow morning.
Yun Muye's pupils constricted, and he wanted to catch up, but Xiao Tangyuan was one step ahead of him. He chased after her crying and accidentally fell to the ground.
"Mom, don't go! Mom doesn't want the baby anymore! Mom..."
Yunshuang caught up with little Tangyuan, hugged him and comforted him.
"Be good, baby, don't cry. Mommy loves you so much, she won't abandon you."
Yun Muye hugged him and wiped away his tears.
"Baby, Daddy will go get Mommy back. You just follow your auntie obediently. Later, Daddy and Mommy will take you home together, okay?"
"Okay." Little Tangyuan sobbed, "Dad, you must bring Mom back."
"good!"
Yun Muye put the child in Yun Shuang's arms, turned his head and looked at Shen Huaian,
"Please take care of them both. If I come back late, please take them home."
"Okay, don't worry, I'm here, nothing will happen."
Yun Muye nodded and ran out. Her foot was injured and she couldn't walk far. Yun Muye anxiously looked for her everywhere on the street, worried that a weak girl like her would be bullied.
Yun Muye had just run a distance when he saw Gu Zhinian walking slowly on the roadside path.
"Zhi Nian!" Yun Muye caught up with her and grabbed her arm with his big hand. Gu Zhi Nian couldn't break free and glared at him angrily.
"Yun Muye, what do you want to do!"
Yun Muye held her hand tightly, bent down slightly, and looked at her at eye level, with warm anticipation in his eyes.
"Zhi Nian, come back with me, I will explain everything to you."
Gu Zhinian turned his head, his heart was sore and swollen, he couldn't describe what he felt.
"What do you need to explain? Explain why you're fickle and promiscuous. You clearly like Little Tangyuan's mom, but you're messing with me!"
Yun Muye was startled, then suddenly laughed out loud, "Zhi Nian, what if I say that you are Xiao Tangyuan's mother?"
Gu Zhinian shook off his hand in embarrassment and anger, "What nonsense are you talking about! I haven't given birth to a child!"
Passersby looked over here curiously. Gu Zhinian lowered her head in shame and anger. Yun Muye held her hand.
"Come back to the car with me and I'll explain everything to you."
Gu Zhinian didn't want to go back, but couldn't break free from him, so he could only be dragged back to the car unwillingly.
Once we got in the car and closed the door, we were isolated from the noise outside. In the silent car, there were only two of us.
Gu Zhinian's heartbeat quickened with nervousness, his fingers curled up slightly, and to relieve his nervousness, he turned his head to look at the scenery outside the car.
Yun Muye leaned over, his hands on either side of her head, his scorching eyes almost burning her.
"Zhi Nian, everything I said is true. You are the mother of little Tangyuan that I have been waiting for. Three years ago, you gave birth to little Tangyuan, but suddenly passed away when she was three months old. I raised little Tangyuan alone and waited for you to come back. The reason I went to the labor market to find a nanny was because you told me to go there to pick you up."
Gu Zhinian frowned and turned to look at him, "How is that possible? I don't believe it?"
Yun Muye moved closer to her, looked at her tempting rosy lips, his Adam's apple rolling up and down, and his eyes flushed red.
