The next day, just as the sky was getting light, Yun Muye opened his eyes, raised his hand to pinch his eyebrows, reached out to pick up the watch on the table and looked at it. It was a little after five o'clock, so he put the watch down casually.
He looked down at the woman nestled in his arms, her black hair covering her small face in a mess, her soft and boneless hands clasping his shoulders, her round and slender legs resting on his thighs. They were as close as intertwined branches, inseparable.
Yun Muye raised his hand to tidy up her messy hair, revealing a little face that was rosy from sleep. His fingers slid down along her eyebrows and stopped at her tender red lips. He pinched them gently. They were very soft and a little dry.
Gu Zhinian was sleeping soundly when someone pinched his lips. He subconsciously opened his mouth and bit it. He heard a chuckle from above his head. He opened his confused eyes and found that he was biting his finger. He opened his mouth and tilted his head back.
"What are you doing?"
Yun Muye lowered his head and kissed her forehead, then sat up and covered her with the quilt. "It's okay, go back to sleep. I'll go cook."
Yun Muye put on his clothes and went to the kitchen to cook.
Gu Zhinian huddled in the warm quilt. Just as she closed her eyes, she thought about the fact that Xiao Tangyuan's grandmother would be arriving today. She, the ugly daughter-in-law, would have to meet her mother-in-law today. She sat up suddenly, raised her hand to scratch her messy hair, quickly put on her pajamas, and went to the kitchen in her slippers.
Yun Muye stood by the stove cooking millet porridge, Gu Zhinian hugged his waist from behind,
"Why are you up?"
Yun Muye turned his head to look at her. Gu Zhinian raised his head and asked with frown,
"What kind of girl does Grandma Tangyuan like? Lively and cute, or gentle and considerate?"
Yun Muye chuckled, turned around and hugged her, holding her head with his big hands and stroking it gently.
"Don't be nervous. My mother doesn't have any requirements for her daughter-in-law. As long as you don't abandon me and Xiao Tangyuan, she will be very satisfied."
Gu Zhinian poked the flesh on his waist with amusement, "Your mother's requirements are really low. Is she afraid that her son will get hurt?"
Yun Muye nodded seriously.
"Maybe she really thinks so."

Yun Muye smiled and didn't reply. After the meal was ready, the crying of little Tangyuan came from Yun Shuang's room.
"I want my mom!"
After not seeing her mother for a whole night, little Tangyuan cried with a pout. Gu Zhinian heard the baby crying, pushed Yun Muye away, turned around and ran into the house, stood at the door and knocked.
"Yunshuang, open the door."
"I'm here!" Yun Shuang opened the door holding little Tangyuan, who was still wearing a thick sleeping bag. Gu Zhinian took him and held him in his arms.
"Yunshuang, go back to sleep. I'll watch over him."
"Okay." Yunshuang yawned, closed the door, climbed onto the bed, covered her head with the quilt and fell asleep.
Gu Zhinian changed Tangyuan's sleeping bag and let him sit on the potty to pee. After he finished peeing, Yun Muye took the potty to the bathroom to clean it. Gu Zhinian dressed him. As soon as he finished changing his clothes, Yun Muye put the baby bottle to his mouth.
"Drink some water."
Little Tangyuan opened his mouth and took two sips of water. After that, he looked at him with accusatory eyes.
"Dad, you slept with Mom in your arms last night, leaving me to sleep with my aunt. Humph! Tonight I want to sleep between the two of you. Don't even think about leaving me behind!"
Gu Zhinian curled his lips and smiled. Yun Muye pinched his little face and said, "Boy, you are three years old now. It's time for you to sleep by yourself. You still let your mother hold you to sleep. Isn't it shameful?"
Little Tangyuan raised his head, put his hands on his hips, and looked very fierce.
"Then you are older than me, we are both adults, and you still let my mother hold you while you sleep. You are even more shameful!"

Yun Muye held both mother and child in his arms and said, "If you don't let Daddy kiss Mommy, can Daddy kiss you?"
Little Tangyuan pointed at his nose and said, "You can only kiss my nose?"
"Why?"
Little Tangyuan covered his mouth and laughed secretly, "Because my face is sweet, I leave it to mom to kiss, but my nose is always runny and dirty, so I have to leave it to dad to kiss!"
