The family of three returned home, Yun Muye and Gu Zhinian changed their slippers at the door.
"Mom is not feeling well today. She is sleeping in the house. I will go to cook."
Gu Zhinian frowned, looking worried.
"What's wrong, Mom?"
Yun Muye sighed.
"Maybe he was mad at me."
"Hmm?" Gu Zhinian wondered. Her mother-in-law had such a good temper, who would make her angry?
"Who offended her?"
"Zhao Xudong's wife downstairs cheated our mom out of twenty yuan and then threatened to jump off the building, which made our mom very angry."
Gu Zhinian looked solemn and took off his coat and hung it on the rack.
"I'll go see her."
Little Tangyuan ran to the kitchen happily.
"Grandma! I bought you some roasted sweet potatoes! They're so sweet!"
There was no one in the kitchen, the stove was cold, the little glutinous rice ball tilted its head, its big round eyes blinked.
"Huh? Why is grandma gone?"
Little Tangyuan ran to his bedroom again. Li Yuling was lying on the bed, soundly asleep. Little Tangyuan climbed onto the bed with a smile on his face, and rubbed against his grandmother.
"Grandma, get up!"
Li Yuling felt dizzy and nauseous. When she heard Xiao Tangyuan's voice, she wanted to raise her hands to hug him, but she had no strength and her heartbeat became irregular.
Gu Zhinian rushed over, took Xiao Tangyuan down,
"Little Tangyuan, grandma is not feeling well. Don't press on her."
Little Tangyuan lowered his head guiltily, "I know, Mom."
Gu Zhinian sat beside the bed and gently called Li Yuling,
"Mom, mom, wake up."
Li Yuling opened her eyes with great effort and smiled weakly.
"Zhi Nian, Mom is not feeling well today, so you guys should make some food for yourselves."
Gu Zhinian held her hand and leaned down.
"Mom, you're not feeling well. Let's go to the hospital."
Li Yuling shook her head slightly.
"No, I feel dizzy and nauseous. I just need to sleep for a while."
Dizziness and nausea? Li Yuling is almost sixty years old. Gu Zhinian is worried that Li Yuling has other health problems, so he quickly goes to the kitchen to find Yun Muye.
"Makino, hurry up and take our mom to the hospital. She's dizzy and nauseous. I suspect she has high blood pressure."
Yun Muye paused in his cooking, his eyes tightened, and he reached out to calmly turn off the stove. He strode to the bedroom, came to the bed, bent down and wanted to pick up Li Yuling.
"Mom, I'll take you to the hospital."
Li Yuling stretched out her hand to stop him, "Don't touch me, I'm very dizzy."
Yun Muye gently put her down and stood up straight.
“Zhi Nian, you stay here and look after Mom. I’ll go call Shen Huaian.”
"good."
Gu Zhinian clenched his hands nervously, Yun Muye ran out with a calm expression. Little Tangyuan felt the serious atmosphere of his parents, clenched his fists in fear, and sat obediently on his little stool, looking at his grandmother and mother with wet eyes.
Gu Zhinian sat beside the bed and watched over Li Yuling. Li Yuling closed her eyes tightly and did not move. Gu Zhinian's heart was pounding and his body was tense. He carefully stretched out his fingers to feel her breath. Gu Zhinian relaxed and exhaled.
Turning around, she saw little Tangyuan looking at her eagerly. Her heart softened, she smiled and waved.
"Baby, come here, mommy will hug you."
Little Tangyuan's eyes lit up, he stood up suddenly, ran into his mother's arms, tears rolling down his face.
"Mom, is grandma sick?"
Gu Zhinian picked him up and placed him on his lap, gently wiping away the tears on his face with his thumb.
"Don't be afraid, baby. Grandma is fine. Dad will go find the doctor. After grandma sees the doctor and takes the medicine, she will be fine."
"Yeah." Little Tangyuan hugged his mother tightly, his eyes kept looking at his grandmother, his little mouth pouted, and he wanted to cry again, but he sniffed and held it back.
Don’t cry, it will disturb grandma’s sleep.
Yun Muye ran quickly to the infirmary. Passersby turned around and called him but he did not respond.
"What's wrong with Captain Yun? Why are you running so fast?"
With a "bang", Yun Muye came to the infirmary with sweat on his forehead. He opened the door and saw Shen Huaian sitting in a chair writing a file. He was startled when he heard the noise.
"What’s wrong with you?"
"My mother might have high blood pressure and is dizzy and nauseous. You should go and see her right away."
"good!"
Shen Huaian quickly picked up the medicine box, picked up the blood pressure monitor and put it in his bag, then searched the cabinet for antihypertensive drugs. After packing them up, he walked out in a hurried pace, and the two talked as they ran.
"Auntie, are you just dizzy and nauseous? Are there any other symptoms?"
Yun Muye pursed his lips. "I didn't have time to ask. She got mad at someone this afternoon. At first she said she had a headache and went to sleep at home to rest. Who knew it would become so serious now? If I had known earlier, I should have insisted on sending her to the hospital."
When Yun Muye took Shen Huaian upstairs, he met Li Xiufang. Li Xiufang wanted to stop him and ask about Aunt Li's situation, but the two of them quickly stepped up the stairs and ignored her.
Li Xiufang slapped her thigh and yelled, "Mom! The doctor is here! Aunt Li can't be really sick! Wang Zhaodi, that troublemaker, has made Aunt Li sick!"
Li Xiufang quickly ran to Sister Zhou's house, "Sister Zhou, Wang Zhaodi made Aunt Li sick. I just saw Captain Yun and Doctor Shen coming in. They were in a hurry. Aunt Li must be in poor health."
"What!" sighed Mrs. Zhou.
"Tell me what a nice person Aunt Li is. This Wang Zhaodi is really causing a lot of trouble! No, Xiufang, do you think we should go buy some things and visit her?"
"Of course!" Li Xiufang slapped her thigh.
"I'll go to the supply and marketing cooperative to buy some eggs and see her."
The two of them walked out in a hurry, and a woman who was passing by and watching her child asked them where they were going.
