Chapter 99 Record Book

Gu Zhinian held little Tangyuan in her arms, looking at him with tenderness in her eyes. She couldn't stop looking at him. This was little Tangyuan, the precious son born from her belly.

Yun Muye sat behind her, gathered her clothes, let her lean on his arms, lowered his head to tease the baby in his arms, and the three of them hugged each other sweetly. Han Li walked out consciously and closed the door quietly.

Zhang Pingping was cleaning the corridor. When Han Li went out, she saw her.

"Zhang Pingping, why are you cleaning here?"

Zhang Pingping clenched the rag in her hand in humiliation and lowered her head in shame. She used to hold her head high and taunt Han Li, but now the situation had changed. Han Li actually dared to taunt her. Her face was distorted.

"Han Li, even if I'm down and out, I'm still a lady from Hong Kong. Who the hell do you think you are? How dare you mock me!"

Han Li looked at her in confusion, "Are you crazy? When did I ever mock you? You have evil thoughts and everything you see is dirty!"

"Who are you talking about?" Zhang Pingping's face was grim, and he threw the rag fiercely. Just as he was about to fight again, the door opened and Yun Muye scolded him coldly:

"What are you guys arguing about! If you want to argue, get away! Don't argue at the door!"

Han Li snorted coldly and left with her bag, looking as proud as a rooster that had won a battle. Zhang Pingping shuddered when she met Yun Muye's icy eyes, picked up the rag on the ground, and ran away guiltily.

Yun Muye closed the door and returned to the room. Gu Zhinian had just finished feeding the child and put on his clothes.

"Han Li got into an argument with someone again."

"Did it bother you?"

"No."

After the little Tangyuan was full, he closed his eyes and fell asleep. Gu Zhinian took the notebook and wrote down the time when the little Tangyuan was feeding. Yun Muye sat beside him and leaned over to watch.

"Why are you remembering this?"

Gu Zhinian replied as he wrote:

"Remember how many times he feeds, so you know how many times he feeds. Otherwise, if you keep feeding him, he'll get indigestion and vomit."

Yun Muye smiled and said, "You're quite attentive. Wouldn't it be too much trouble to take a notebook and make notes?"

Gu Zhinian refuted him.

"Raising your own children requires meticulous care. Otherwise, they suffer, and we as parents feel bad too."

Yun Muye took the notebook.

"Then I'll take note. You take a break."

"What do you know!" Gu Zhinian glared at him. "Giving milk to a newborn baby? You're so smart! Not only milk, but also yogurt should be avoided as much as possible. It puts a heavy burden on the stomach and intestines. If the baby gets stomach colic, it will be very painful."

"I understand." Yun Muye raised his hand guiltily. "Why don't you write down what the child should and shouldn't eat? If I don't understand something, I can just look it up in my notebook."

"Okay." Gu Zhinian nodded.

Yun Muye picked up the basin of diapers on the ground.

"I'm going to the sink to wash the baby's diaper. When you're done recording, lie down and take a nap."

"Go!" Gu Zhinian recorded without even looking up, and wrote down all the knowledge about raising children that he could think of. Finally, he wrote the words "Child-Raising Manual" in large letters on the cover, and also thoughtfully drew a cute little flower.

After Yun Muye left, the door was opened again. Zhang Pingping walked in wearing a mask and work clothes, mopping the floor with her head down. Gu Zhinian looked up at her, reached out and pulled over the crib where the baby was, and asked her to mop the floor.

Zhang Pingping glanced at the baby in the crib out of the corner of her eye, then looked at Gu Zhinian who had a happy face, her jealous heart twisted and vicious.
