Zhang Heping knew what he meant; he was just worried that something might happen to his wife and children.
However, he could understand. It was quite chaotic outside during the day, and he probably wouldn't feel comfortable without someone by his side.
So he nodded, "Don't worry, I'll take good care of things. But you have to get me something good to eat."
Shen Yanming would certainly grant his request for such a small favor. He nodded with a smile, "Sure, I guarantee you'll find it unforgettable."
Although he didn't know what kind of food his friend would bring to make him crave more, Zhang Heping believed he had the ability to do so.
He felt his mouth watering, and waved his hand, saying, "Go quickly and come back quickly!"
Shen Yanming ignored him, walked to Qiao An's side, and whispered in her ear, "Just tell him to do whatever you need. I'll be back soon."
Bi Qiaoan nodded with a smile.
Shen Yanming opened the thermos on the bedside table and saw that the millet porridge inside was still warm. He said, "Captain Qi Xili came over this morning with his son to apologize. This is the millet porridge they prepared for you."
"It's still warm. If you're hungry, you can eat something first. Or you can have some crucian carp soup when I get back."
Bi Qiaoan was taken aback for a moment and asked, "What is he apologizing for? And how did he know I was giving birth here?"
Shen Yanming smiled and patted her head. "Let Heping talk to you. Otherwise, once I've laid it all out, there'll be no going back."
"Okay!" Bi Qiaoan replied. "Then you should go back. I won't be bored with Heping to talk to. But you should come back soon!"
“Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to handle two babies, and I guess Zhang Heping is the same,” Bi Qiao said reassuredly.
Shen Yanming was aware of all this, but he really didn't dare to use his spatial ability casually outside.
So, those who didn't want to leave could only reluctantly depart, carrying the two empty thermos containers and insulated lunch boxes.

"Yes, thank you for thinking of me!" After saying that, the elevator arrived. Shen Yanming waved his hand and got in.
Actually, he had considered calling them, but he hesitated because he was worried that they were busy with work and didn't want them to bring things over.
But Zhang Heping's words made sense. If such a major event as having a child wasn't even announced, it was hard to guarantee they wouldn't worry.

With a ding, the elevator arrived at the first floor.
The first thing Shen Yanming did after leaving was to share the good news with his two buddies. Then, after thinking for a moment, he called Zhu Shiliang and the others.
Qi Xili and Li Gangtie knew about it, but Yu Shui and his former colleagues were completely unaware.
However, it was made very clearly on the phone that work should be the priority and there was no need to make a special trip to the hospital.
After Qiao An is discharged from the hospital in a couple of days, they can go to the dormitory to see the baby.

Ji Kangyong and Li Zhaozhao said they would come over this afternoon.
Shen Yanming did not refuse, but made it clear that he should not bring anything.

Even though they were short on time and couldn't find anything good this time, they made up for it later without any hesitation.
Shen Yanming assumed the other party had agreed, so he drove home as fast as he could.
At the entrance to Qingyu residential complex, he even parked his car and handed out wedding candy to the security guards on duty. Unfortunately, Chen Shunwei wasn't there, so a familiar-looking security guard ended up getting the treat.
He didn't talk to the other person for long before returning to Building 6.
When he got home, Shen Yanming took out a piece of pork and some vegetables from his spatial storage.
Then I cooked a pot of rice, stir-fried some bok choy, and stir-fried some green peppers and pork slices.
He served himself his portion and ate it at home. He packed the rest into a lunchbox, intending to take it back to the hospital for Zhang Heping.
As for the thermos, it contained crucian carp soup that had been prepared long ago without salt.
The reason for not cooking fresh was simply to save time. As for not using everything readily available in the space, it was also to put on a show in front of outsiders.
Shen Yanming also considered whether he should take a stroll outside, find a secluded corner to retrieve the ready-made food from his spatial storage, and then return to the hospital when it was almost time.
But he felt that since it would take time anyway, why do things that might give others a chance to find out?
And so, he drove back to Qingyu Residential Area and actually cooked a meal.
Of course, because the ingredients were readily available and some of the food was obtained through cheating, he spent significantly less time. However, these minor details are unlikely to attract much attention.
After he finished cleaning up the kitchen, he carried the lunchbox and the thermos back to the underground garage.
Then, the journey was smooth and unimpeded, and we returned to Haishi Hospital.
In the ward, Bi Qiaoan had already drunk most of a bowl of millet porridge.
For her, since both were tasteless anyway, plain millet porridge was much tastier than unsalted crucian carp soup.
Zhang Heping watched Qiao An drink porridge and felt hungry too.
His stomach rumbled a few times, and Bi Qiaoan generously pushed the rest to him.
He wanted to decline, but Qiao An said that Shen Yanming would be back soon to bring them food. They wouldn't go hungry, so there was no need to be polite.
Zhang Heping thought about it and agreed, so he took the thermos and started slurping it down.
Then, while drinking, he told her about Qi Xili and Qi Lin.
Bi Qiaoan didn't react much after hearing this. He asked curiously, "Aren't you angry?"
She smiled and shook her head, giving a similar answer to Shen Yanming.
Zhang Heping was finally convinced; they really were a couple.
Afterwards, Zhang Heping washed the two people's tableware.
Because Bi Qiaoan had slept for a long time and it was inconvenient for her to use her phone during her postpartum confinement, she could only chat with Zhang Heping about this and that.
Zhang Heping wasn't annoyed. He dug up some recent gossip and analyzed it with her. The two of them commented on it, finding they were kindred spirits.
I heard the door open and assumed it was Shen Yanming. But when I opened it, it turned out to be Li Zhaozhao and Ji Kangyong.
"You're here! That was fast!" Zhang Heping exclaimed in surprise, then invited the two inside.
