The next day, Shen Yanming woke up to find himself alone in the bedroom of the mobile villa.
With no wife by his side and no children by his bedside, he felt a sudden emptiness in his heart.
He rolled out of bed, walked out of the bedroom, and found Bi Qiaoan playing games with the two children in the living room.
The two clever little ones saw Shen Yanming and kicked their little legs in their walkers, calling out, "Daddy!"
Nuannuan even thrashed her little body towards Shen Yanming.
Old Shen felt so warm inside. He bent down and hugged the little cutie tightly, asking, "Did you miss Daddy?"

"What about An'an?"
"I miss Dad!"
Shen Yanming sat down on the sofa, hugged An'an, and said, "I feel like they've improved in how they talk."
“Of course, during the week you were gone, I spent every day teaching the two kids to talk,” Bi Qiaoan said.
"Thanks a lot."
"It's alright, I can take care of them without any problem, but the two kids keep asking for me and cry when they can't see me, which drives me crazy. In the end, I managed to coax them with some treats."
Shen Yanming revealed a smug and satisfied smile: "What delicious food is it?"

Shen Yanming picked up the two children and kissed them twice, then said to them, "This is our secret base, you can't tell anyone."
The two babies nodded as if they understood, then looked at Shen Yanming with smiles.
"What does this mean?" Shen Yanming asked Bi Qiaoan.
Bi Qiaoan suppressed a laugh: "They probably want to eat something, or they want to go out and have fun."
She had barely finished speaking when the two kids stretched out their arms: "Play!"
"Okay, okay, Dad will take you out for a walk." He's really giving in unconditionally. I wonder if he'll be able to be a strict father in the future.
"Aren't you going to eat breakfast?"
"Let's go for a walk and eat when we get back," Shen Yanming said, putting the two children into the stroller. "Wife, let's go together!"
Bi Qiaoan nodded and followed behind the father and his two sons.
An'an and Nuannuan were thrilled to see the familiar yet unfamiliar scenery. Having been confined at home for only a few months, they had never seen such a beautiful place before.

The two children, as if in a competition, recited each word that Bi Qiaoan had taught them, one by one. Shen Yanming listened to their tender little voices and felt extremely proud.

The chicks and ducklings were so frightened that they chirped and ran away. Then the two children looked at Shen Yanming with blank expressions, as if to say, "What happened to them?"
Shen Yanming smiled, ran forward, grabbed a chick, put it in his hand, and held it in front of the two children, letting them gently touch it.
But children don't know how to control their strength. If they pinch a chick too hard, the chick will thrash and fall to the ground and run away.
"Ha, it's alright, we can just watch from a distance," Shen Yanming said, trying to save face.
Bi Qiaoan smiled and said, "It's a pity we don't have any horses here. Otherwise, the two kids could experience the joy of riding horses when they grow up. Now, they can only ride pigs, sheep, or cows."
Shen Yanming laughed, "Yeah, we didn't even have a little donkey. We were too busy collecting food back then. Actually, horse meat and donkey meat are not bad either, but our thinking was limited back then."

The couple returned to their mobile villa with their two children and checked the time; it was almost ten o'clock.

Although Shen Yanming couldn't see what was happening in the back seat, he could hear the conversation between the mother and her two children. He slightly curled the corners of his lips and slowed down considerably.
The four of them drove to Haishi Hospital and parked the car in the parking lot. Shen Yanming took a stroller out of the trunk, put the two children inside, and then carried his backpack and lunchbox into the hospital.
Shen Yanming asked the nurse for Li Gangtie's room number and then led the mother and her two children upstairs.
Before even knocking, Li Gangtie said in a strong voice, "Honey, go eat. I'm fine, really. If anything happens, I'll just call the nurse, right?"
"No way, I'm worried. I'll stay here and keep watch, Tongtong will be here soon."
