Chapter 792 Good and Evil Will Be Rewarded in the End

The bearded man was very satisfied with everyone's reaction.

He rubbed his chin and said, "Let's do it tomorrow. Everyone should get plenty of rest tonight, and we'll set off first thing tomorrow morning!"

"Okay, whatever you say!"

The bearded man nodded and prepared to leave.

At this moment, a young man muttered, "Isn't there still a 'dead fish'? Why do we have to go find those big men? They're so rough, how can they taste good?"

The voice wasn't quiet, and the bearded man heard it clearly.

The bearded man actually pondered this question, but his final answer was: "That person can't move, or I won't have any toys. Unless, you satisfy me?"

The bearded man's gaze was like a hook, startling the speaker so much that he broke out in a cold sweat. Only then did the man raise an eyebrow triumphantly, humming a song as he walked away.

Only after the bearded man was out of sight did the men dare to speak loudly.

"Are you tired of living? How dare you talk back to the bearded man?"

Although the young man was afraid of the bearded man, he was not intimidated by those around him who doubted him.

"What's wrong? I just asked what was on my mind. The bearded man didn't say anything, so why are you all getting so worked up?"

"We were just worried you'd get into trouble, and you're not even grateful! You're really taking our kindness for granted!"

The young man knew perfectly well what was going on, but he still stubbornly retorted, "Who cares what I say!"

"Fine, I'll just give up then, okay?"

The group dispersed, leaving only two or three people behind.

"Why aren't you leaving yet?" the young man asked, puzzled.

The men exchanged glances and chuckled, "You're a good young man, with fair skin and tender flesh, no less beautiful than a girl. No wonder Beard treats you differently."

"Is there? Is there?" A bad feeling rose in the young man's heart, and he wanted to run away.

But these men were no pushovers; how could they possibly let their prey slip away so easily?

They subdued the man in no time.

One of them gently ran her finger across his cheek: "Wow, so soft. We're all so rough now, but your skin is still so good. Didn't you used to have a lot of girls who liked you?"

"It's alright, I guess!"

"So you're very experienced?"

The young man looked puzzled: "What experience?"

"Oh ho, still a virgin~~chicken. That's even better, let the older brothers show you around."

Young man: "...Ah!"

All sorts of sounds can be heard on the "isolated island" every day, and everyone is used to it.

The young man's screams went unnoticed, and under the torment of several inhuman bastards, he eventually lay there like a dead fish.

Fortunately, they didn't intend to kill him. Although he was humiliated, he at least survived.

The young man dared not stay there any longer. Trembling, he put on his clothes and, taking advantage of everyone's deep sleep, escaped in the middle of the night.

He already knew about the bearded man's plan, so he didn't dare go looking for the defectors. But the "island" was only so big; where could they hide?

In desperation, the young man decided to wade through the mud.

Living was his luck. Dying was his fate!

He limped along, occasionally clutching his backside, stumbling and falling all the way until he reached the mud.

He hesitated at first, but the faint laughter and shouts around him made him decide to take the plunge.

When the mud reached his legs, the young man thought, "It's not so scary after all."

At least dying in the mud is better than dying under the humiliation of those scoundrels, or dying in the mouth of that bearded man.

Soon, the mud reached up to his chest.

The young man began to regret his decision. Should he have gone out to escape? At least by clinging to life, he could have lived a couple more days!

But he was unwilling to die like this. He was only 19 years old and had a bright future ahead of him. Why should a few scumbags ruin it for him?

As if injected with strength, the young man's gaze became firm. He reached out and cleared away the mud in front of him, moving his legs little by little.

One meter, two meters, three meters...

As dawn broke, the young man felt his steps become much lighter. He then realized that he had actually made it out!

The height of the silt decreased, from chest level, up to waist level, then thighs, calves, until reaching the foot of a mountain.

The young man was thankful that his risky act had allowed him to escape with his life.

Little did he know that he was about to die from a viral infection.

The damn perpetrator inflicted several wounds on him.

He couldn't see it himself, but after being soaked in mud all night, even the smallest wound would start to fester and become infected.

The young man was delirious with fever, and his only thought before he died was: "Good and evil will be rewarded in the end, and the cycle of karma will be repeated!"

On the bearded man's side, after Meimei had taken a nap, he stretched and got up.

Seeing that the sun was already high in the sky, the bearded man roared, "Brothers, let's go!"

The group of us who stayed out late last night looked around but couldn't find that fair-skinned young man.

They were somewhat flustered, but dared not reveal their guilty conscience. They forced themselves to remain calm, hoping the bearded man hadn't noticed anything amiss.

Sure enough, the bearded man was so focused on eating meat that he didn't even bother to count the number of people. The large group set off in the direction of Che Cunzhou.

At that moment, Che Cunzhou was unaware that a group of demons was approaching. He was in that small park, peeling and eating tree bark.

"Oh my god, I'm so hungry. In two days, we'll have eaten all the flowers, plants, and trees here!"

"Then what do you suggest we do? Eat dead fish, or eat corpses?"

"I was just complaining a little, but I've been constipated from not eating for so long!"

"Ha, is that constipation? You're just empty inside, you can't poop at all, okay?"

"Hey, don't you know how tough life is? We're all in the same boat, why be so confrontational?"

"Haha, isn't this just finding joy in hardship?"

A group of people laughed and joked. Che Cunzhou swallowed the slightly bitter leaf, spat it out twice.

"Dude, you're being so wasteful! Don't you know there's a water shortage right now?"

Che Cunzhou forced a stiff smile: "It's too bitter, I can't take it."

The man shook his head in disapproval: "You can't spit your saliva out like that. You're wasting so much water. You probably won't be able to make up for it without eating two ounces of tree leaves."

Che Cunzhou: "...No need, I'm not thirsty." Actually, he was dying of thirst!

"Young man, you're not being honest!" The man clicked his tongue twice and left.

Che Cunzhou leaned against a tree, lost in thought. After a long while, he muttered, "I wonder how that little wench is doing. Could she be dead already?"

Before he could come up with an answer, someone exclaimed, "Holy crap, someone's here!"

"What's so strange about someone being there? Why are you making such a fuss? You're a genius..."

The man stopped speaking abruptly when he saw the bearded man's fierce and menacing appearance.

"Do you have something to ask?" A "highly respected" person stepped forward to negotiate.

The bearded man slapped the man to the ground: "Brothers, tie him up!"

"Hey, what are you doing? Kidnapping is illegal!"

"Exactly, where did you guys come from? Wouldn't it be better if we just kept to ourselves?"
