Chapter 114 Making Shrimp

She thought Han Chen would send her another message to ask her what was going on, but he just disappeared and there was no more message.

Zhou Mo was angry. He threw his phone aside and leaned tiredly on the sofa.

In the kitchen.

Du Moliang shouted, "Han Chen, come over here and take a look. What should we do with this shrimp?"

Han Chen quickly put down his phone and went to the kitchen.

Du Moliang shook the water off his hands and was helpless in front of a basin of fresh shrimps.

"I don't know either." Han Chen said.

"What should we do?" Du Moliang looked troubled. "How about asking Zhong Zhicheng?"

Han Chen frowned, "Where's Doctor Du Moyou?"

Du Moliang slapped his forehead and said, "Forget about her."

He turned around and went outside and knocked on the door of the next door.

The door opened from the inside. Zong Zheng, with his messy hair and wearing only a pair of loose sports beach shorts, looked sleepy. "What's wrong?"

Du Moliang frowned inexplicably, "Where's my sister?"

Zong Zheng: "I'm on duty."

Du Moliang: "Where's Zong Yi?"

Zong Zheng: "Falling asleep."

Du Moliang: "When he wakes up, bring him over to eat shrimp."

Zong Zheng: "Your sister doesn't let him eat takeout."

Du Moliang emphasized: "It's not takeout, I made it myself!"

Zong Zheng suddenly woke up and asked, "You can also cook shrimp?"

Du Moliang felt despised and inexplicably resentful in his heart, "It's just a shrimp, what's so difficult about it?"

Zong Zheng looked unconvinced. "If I don't clean it properly, Xiaoyi will get diarrhea if he eats it. Your sister will definitely blame me then."

Du Moliang: "..."

At that time, Han Chen came out of Du Moliang's house.

Zong Zheng was stunned when he saw him. "Han Chen? Why are you at his house?"

Du Moliang answered first, "We met when we were studying abroad."

Zong Zheng still had a look of distrust on his face. He said to Han Chen quietly, "You really don't dislike him. What's his reputation like? If you follow him, you won't be afraid of not being able to make it in the First Courtyard."

Du Moliang glared at him, "Why can't you get along with me? Your reputation is not that good, and my sister followed you, but she is still in the first hospital of Dongda University, right?"

Han Chen's face didn't show much expression.

"Can you prepare shrimp?" He ignored the teasing between his brother-in-law and brother-in-law and went straight to the point.

Zong Zheng paused, glanced at Du Moliang, and said with a mocking tone, "You said you cooked shrimp yourself? You think you're so awesome? You can't even cook shrimp."

Du Moliang: "You..."

"I'll go back to the house to change my clothes and come over later," Zong Zheng turned and went back into the house.

Du Moliang held his breath and turned back to his home.

Han Chen followed him in but didn't close the door.

Du Moliang turned around and asked, "You and Zong Zheng seem quite familiar with each other?"

"His friend had a distal ulna fracture and came to the orthopedic clinic."

Du Moliang was about to walk into the bathroom when he suddenly stopped. "What's going on? Is he hanging out with his cronies again? Or are his men causing trouble again?"

Han Chen: "I don't know."

Du Moliang cursed inwardly, "Zong Zheng, he's still not honest even after getting married. I'll tell my sister later."

Han Chen went into the kitchen to prepare other dishes.

Du Moliang came out of the bathroom, "Han Chen, do you have any rice at home? I'm out of rice."

"Yes, I'll get it," Han Chen put down the celery.

Du Moliang: "Thank you."

Han Chen turned around and went home. When he opened the door, he happened to meet Zong Zheng who came out from the next door.

"Have you resolved the 'scandal' between you and Du Moliang?" Zong Zheng asked.

"No."

"How dare you hang out with him?" Zong Zheng was shocked.

“They are all colleagues.”

"Alright," Zong Zheng saw him open the door, "Why are you going back? Come and have dinner with us."

Han Chen: "Go back and get some rice."

Zong Zheng reacted, "Du Moliang's family is out of rice?"

"Um."

"Oh, you don't even have rice, and you're still talking about cooking," Zong Zheng sneered, and then entered Du Moliang's house.

All three of them are on the same floor.

The house of Du Moliang and Du Moyu, brother and sister, was bought by their parents in Century Jiayuan a long time ago.

The parents of the two are old professors of the First Hospital of Southeast University. When Century Jiayuan, the family quarters of the First Hospital of Southeast University, was first built, their parents bought a house here.

Including the one Han Chen lives in, the Du family bought three houses in total.

Han Chen came to Dongjiang from the capital. It just so happened that the hospital gave him housing funds for talent introduction, and he planned to buy an apartment in Dongjiang.

Liang Xinyun asked around and found out that Professor Du's family had an extra house.

The Du family originally did not plan to sell the house. Han Chen consulted Du Moliang. Du Moliang saw that Han Chen was an old acquaintance, so he discussed with his parents and decided to sell the house to Han Chen.

It is fully furnished and does not include home appliances. The quoted price is several hundred thousand yuan higher than the unfinished houses on the market.

Du Moliang was very generous and said that the price could be negotiated and it was no problem to lower it a little. His parents had already given him full authority to handle the house.

After looking at the house, Han Chen agreed immediately and said the price did not need to be lowered.

Du Moliang was startled and asked him, "Are you sure?"

"Sure," Han Chen said without hesitation, then hesitated a little, "but I can't pay in full."

Han Chen doesn't have that much money on him.

Du Moliang laughed, "Full payment? Are you kidding? Who can afford to buy a house in full these days?"

So, Han Chen took out a loan to buy the house he has now.

In the kitchen of Du Moliang's house.

Three men stood in front of the stove, looking at a pot of lively shrimps.

Zong Zheng reached out and scooped up a shrimp, holding it in his hand. "Where did you get such fresh shrimp? Did you just pull it out of the pond?"

"It was given to us by a patient who is a farmer," Du Moliang said. "Our entire department has received some."
