Han Chen handed the towel to Zhou Mo.
"Why were you hiding from me and staying so far away from me just now?"
Zhou Mo was wiping her face with a towel when her hand suddenly stopped. After wiping it haphazardly, she stuffed the towel back into Han Chen's hand and said, "I thought you were going to suffocate me to death."
What kind of nonsensical answer is this?
Han Chen was angry and amused, "Am I that bad in your eyes?"
"What else?" Zhou Mo said angrily, "How good do you think you are?"
Han Chen was helpless. Even though he was sick, he was still so stubborn and refused to give in.
"Are you still feeling uncomfortable?" Han Chen asked.
Zhou Mo glared at him, "Who has a cold and fever that can be cured in an hour?"
Han Chen was speechless.
Zhou Mo was angry at the moment, and he said the more mistakes he made, the more mistakes he made.
"I'll go find some medicine for you." He turned and left the bedroom.
Zhou Mo knew that her attitude was bad and she looked ferocious, and Han Chen had been tolerating her, but she just couldn't help it.
I had been holding back my anger for several days, and coupled with my illness, I felt depressed, bitter, and aggrieved, all coming up at once.
She is a petty and vindictive person.
Han Chen made her feel bad and uncomfortable, and she must get revenge on him.
Anyway, since she is sad, he can't expect to feel better.
Han Chen came in with a bag of medicine in his hand and a glass of water in his other hand.
He put down the water glass, sat on the edge of the bed, and looked through the medicine box in the transparent bag.
"Do you want to take ibuprofen?" Han Chen asked.
The implication was that Zhou Mo might have a severe headache. If the pain was severe, he could take ibuprofen to relieve the pain first.
Zhou Mo closed his eyes and said irritably, "You're not a doctor? Why are you asking me what medicine to take?"
Today, Zhou Mo is against Han Chen everywhere.
Han Chen didn't argue with her, "Take Gan Kang."
He took a capsule and placed it in his palm, while picking up the water glass with his other hand. "Get up and take the medicine."
Zhou Mo finally opened his eyes and took a look at the medicine in his hand, but his eyes were full of disgust.
"I don't take capsules. I can't swallow them."
Han Chen's brows were deep, and his gaze as he looked at Zhou Mo finally turned into helplessness. He threw the capsule into the trash can, stood up and walked out of the bedroom.
"Where are you going?" Zhou Mo suddenly asked.
Han Chen didn't say anything, just stayed for a moment and then left.
Zhou Mo heard the sound of the outer door opening and closing.
She pulled back the quilt dejectedly and buried her head in it.
Han Chen must have been unable to stand her and left angrily.
Zhou Mo felt extremely uncomfortable, not only physically but also mentally.
She shouldn't have come here. Did she think that Han Chen's use of force to bring her here meant that he would care about her?
ridiculous.
Who is Han Chen? He is someone who never says a sweet word.
How much can you expect him to care about others?
How is he different now than before?
He is always lukewarm, never considers her feelings, and never understands what she cares about.
Zhou Mo even felt a little regretful. She shouldn't have believed Han Chen's lies.
What they said was "give it a try", but it hadn't been long since they'd turned into this horrible state.
It was Han Chen who first approached her about getting married, but she was quite self-aware and knew that they were not suitable for each other at all.
Because we can't get along.
If they couldn't get along ten years ago, how good can they be ten years later?
Shen Pan asked her what the real reason was for breaking up with Han Chen.
Zhou Mo couldn't answer.
Because the reasons are too complicated.
It's not just that they are in different places and Han Chen has no life skills, but more importantly, Zhou Mo cannot feel secure enough in this relationship.
Han Chen was always so distant, and Zhou Mo was afraid that if he jumped in all at once, Han Chen would just be playing around.
He walked away gracefully, crying alone with his memories.
Zhou Mo like that is no longer Zhou Mo. She doesn't like herself like that.
Is Han Chen not good to her? Of course he is good. Zhou Mo is not stupid. She can feel it.
But that was only when he was with her.
But most of the time in life, she is alone, and most of the time Han Chen is not by her side.
Whenever this happened, Zhou Mo couldn't help but question whether Han Chen was serious or if his feelings had a switch that turned on when he was with her and off when she wasn't around.
It was this feeling of anxiety and fear that was driving Zhou Mo crazy.
If feelings are so complicated, she would rather not have them.
If Han Chen makes her lose herself, she would rather be beautiful alone.
As I thought about it, my eyes became moist and my throat ached terribly. Combined with a headache, fatigue, and fever all over my body, I felt even more uncomfortable.
After a while, she fell into a drowsy sleep.
In her sleep, someone called her name.
"Momo, Momo..."
Han Chen is back.
Zhou Mo's eyes were hazy, and he couldn't tell whether he was dreaming or the person in front of him existed in reality.
"Get up, take the medicine, and then go back to sleep."
Zhou Mo was confused and thought he was dreaming, so he turned over and ignored Han Chen.
Han Chen raised his hand and turned Zhou Mo's body over, shaking her arm, "Momo, wake up."
Zhou Mo couldn't tell whether it was reality or a dream, her mind was a mess. Her instinct told her that she needed sleep, and she thought Han Chen's call was just noise.
"Are you annoying?" He didn't let her sleep well in her dream.
Suddenly, a slightly cool big hand covered his forehead, and Zhou Mo shuddered all over due to the temperature difference.
Han Chen withdrew his hand and touched his forehead again.
Zhou Mo's temperature had obviously risen again.
"Stop bothering me. You have to get up and take medicine first," Han Chen pulled Zhou Mo, trying to get her to get up.
Zhou Mo thought she was in a dream and kept her eyes closed the whole time. She felt so uncomfortable that she had completely given up struggling.
Whatever you want.
Han Chen helped Zhou Mo up, held her close to his side.
He picked up the tablets of Gankang he had just bought from the bedside table and patted Zhou Mo's face. "Open your mouth."
Zhou Mo didn't respond.
Han Chen stuffed the pill into Zhou Mo's mouth and held the water cup to Zhou Mo's lips.
As the pill entered her mouth, a bitter feeling immediately filled her entire mouth. She wanted to spit it out, but someone gave her water, and she drank it reflexively in big gulps.
After swallowing a few mouthfuls, I realized that the water had a slightly sweet taste, which covered up a lot of the bitterness.
Han Chen made sure Zhou Mo had swallowed the medicine and gently put her back on the bed.
After a day of hard work, Zhou Mo's hair was already a tangled mess. Han Chen supported the back of Zhou Mo's head with one hand, pulled out all her hair, and smoothed it above her head.
She was sweating at the moment, and her long hair was piled up at her neck. She must be very uncomfortable.
After styling her hair, his hands were still reluctant to leave.
He followed the ends of her hair back to the roots, picking out a few strands of hair that were restlessly blocking Zhou Mo's face. His fingertips unconsciously stroked Zhou Mo's cheek, and his thumb stroked her right eye, which was stained with some crystal.
He had never touched her in such a quiet moment.
Zhou Mo was distracted by the gentle touch. She brushed it off with her hand, turned over and lay on her side, with half of her face buried in the pillow.
"Han Chen, you are annoying." She said in a daze.
Han Chen couldn't tell whether Zhou Mo was telling the truth or talking in his sleep.
"Yeah," he responded.
"Let's get a divorce... I don't want to try anymore..." Zhou Mo's voice was filled with grievance.
