Chapter 172 Fever 10

"No, I need to wash up first."

She had been sweating all night yesterday and now she felt uncomfortable all over. She was still wearing yesterday's clothes, which made her feel even worse.

Han Chen opened the wardrobe, rummaged around inside, and took out a black T-shirt and black beach pants.

"Go wash it," he handed the clothes to Zhou Mo.

Zhou Mo frowned, obviously finding it hard to accept.

Han Chen: "Clean."

Zhou Mo lowered his head and sniffed, confirming that there was the sweet scent of laundry detergent, and then he was reluctantly satisfied.

She took the clothes and went to the bathroom outside.

Zhou Mo had lived here once before, and the toiletries he used were still on the sink in the bathroom in the living room.

Zhou Mo didn't feel awkward. Although this was Han Chen's home, she came and went freely as if it were an old friend's home.

Han Chen took the hair dryer from the bedroom and took it to the bathroom outside.

"Here, you use it."

Zhou Mo took it and put it aside.

He didn't even say thank you and was obviously still angry.

Han Chen went back to the bathroom and quickly cleaned up. When he came out, Zhou Mo hadn't finished yet.

There is the sound of a shower in the bathroom in the living room, which is pleasant to the ears.

Han Chen took eggs, milk and sausages from the refrigerator, then felt like something was missing, so he went downstairs to the supermarket.

It was rare to see Han Chen so early, and the salesperson was surprised.

"Good morning, Doctor Han."

Han Chen nodded, "Good morning."

He picked out two apples and took some whole-wheat bread and condensed milk from the shelf.

Put your items on the counter and prepare to check out.

Zong Zheng just came in.

The salesperson greeted politely, "Good morning, Mr. Zong."

Han Chen turned around, and Zong Zheng happened to see what Han Chen placed on the counter.

"Make breakfast for Miss Zhou?" Zong Zheng asked.

"Yeah," Han Chen replied lightly.

After the salesperson scanned the product code, Han Chen paid the bill and left with the items.

Zong Zheng took a bag of salt from the shelf and threw it on the counter.

The salesperson asked curiously while scanning the code, "This is your first time seeing Dr. Han so early in the morning and buying breakfast."

Zong Zheng took out his phone and opened the payment code. "His girlfriend is here, I have to show her some courtesy."

The salesperson was surprised, "Doctor Han actually has a girlfriend?"

Zong Zheng frowned, "Han Chen isn't a bad guy. He's tall, handsome, and a doctor. How come he doesn't have a girlfriend?"

The salesperson murmured quietly, "Doctor Han...you look like the kind of person who's hard to get along with, and he doesn't talk much...girls nowadays probably don't like that."

"That's true," Zong Zheng agreed with the salesperson's evaluation of Han Chen.

Not to mention others, even Zong Zheng felt that Han Chen sometimes asked for a beating, didn't talk much, and was very arrogant. If it were in the past, when he was hanging around, if he met someone like Han Chen, he would have attacked him without saying a word.

It’s not because of anything else, it’s just that Han Chen’s behavior is unbearable.

Han Chen returned home carrying his things.

The bathroom door was still closed and the person inside hadn't come out yet.

Han Chen shook his head and carried his things into the kitchen.

He set up the pot, poured in the oil, and turned on the range hood. Before the oil heated up, Han Chen unwrapped the bread and put it in the microwave.

After the oil was hot, he beat two eggs and planned to fry them.

The sizzling sound of oil in the pan, mixed with the sound of the range hood, is full of the sounds of life.

He cut the sausage into thin slices, picked them up with chopsticks, and fried them one by one in the frying pan with eggs.

The microwave dinged, and he took out the bread, turned off the stove, took out the sausages and fried eggs, and brought them to the dining table outside.

I glanced at the bathroom, the door was closed, but I could still hear the sound of the shower.

Zhou Mo hasn't finished yet.

Han Chen returned to the kitchen and heated the milk.

I peeled two more apples, cut them into pieces, put them into the juicer, blended them into a pulp, added hot water to dilute it, poured in milk, and added two rock sugars.

Everything was ready for breakfast, but Zhou Mo still didn't come out of the bathroom.

"Are you ready?" Han Chen was already sitting at the dining table waiting.

"Right away." The sound of a hair dryer came from the bathroom.

Five minutes later.

"Wow——" The bathroom door was opened.

Zhou Mo came out, having just blow-dried her hair. Her hair was fluffy and draped over both sides. She was wearing Han Chen's loose T-shirt and beach pants, revealing only her slender arms and calves.

Han Chen's fitted clothes looked completely oversized on her.

"Wow, not bad," Zhou Mo was slightly surprised to see the food already prepared on the table, and she pulled out a stool and sat opposite Han Chen.

"Are you in a better mood after taking a shower?" Han Chen pushed the bread in front of Zhou Mo.

Zhou Mo hadn't eaten much yesterday and was already hungry. She didn't hesitate and picked up a slice of bread, spread condensed milk on it, took a bite, and said vaguely, "No."

Han Chen was helpless, "Can we talk about it?"

Zhou Mo ate heartily, "What are we talking about?"

Han Chen said, "You told me to think carefully about where I went wrong. I've been thinking about it these past few days, but I can't figure it out. Can you tell me?"

Condensed milk dripped from the bread slice and stained Zhou Mo's thumb. Zhou Mo sucked his thumb and looked at Han Chen with pride and dissatisfaction.

"You've done so many wrong things, do you think this is the only one?"

Han Chen was puzzled: "Anything else?"

Zhou Mo snorted, picked up another piece of sausage and continued eating, not intending to answer Han Chen's question.

Han Chen saw that Zhou Mo's face was still gloomy, and knew that she must still be sulking.

But he didn't know what he did wrong.

If Zhou Mo didn't tell him, he would have no idea where to start.
