Chapter 544 Meeting in the Imperial Capital 3

As soon as Zhou Mo came in, he began to search for various clues in the house.

Song Yan stared blankly at the strange picture on the wall. The narrow space just made him feel a little safe, but the strange picture of human eyes on the wall made him feel creepy again.

Ding Ning was the third one to crawl in. Before she could stand up, Song Yan instinctively dodged, "You little girl, why are you still touching my legs?"

"Who touched your leg?" Ding Ning stood up and clapped his hands, looking displeased.

"If it's not you, then who is it?" Song Yan asked, "Did you bump into it accidentally and are too embarrassed to admit it?"

Ding Ning glared at him: "Don't accuse me, I didn't even touch you."

"How is that possible? I clearly felt someone touching my calf—"

Before he could finish his words, Song Yan felt someone touch his calf again, but Ding Ning, who was closest to him, was standing right in front of him, so it was impossible for her to touch him...

"Ah--Ahhhhh! Ghost!" Song Yan jumped and jumped onto the bed in the room.

Ding Ning was startled and realized something was wrong. He lowered his head to look under the bed, but it was pitch black and he couldn't see anything clearly.

She asked the person behind her for the only lighting tool she had when she first entered the door - a "fake candle".

The light from the fake candle was very dim, but it was enough to provide some light. I looked under the bed but didn't find anything.

“What a fuss,” Ding Ning complained, turning around to return the candle to someone else.

Song Yan, however, was like a frightened bird, standing on the bed, huddled in the corner, and refused to come down no matter what.

There were many clues in this room. After searching for a while, we found the first mechanism that triggered the secret compartment when we came in, and it was closed.

"What should I do? I can't get out at all." Song Yan said.

Zhou Mo had a headache, "Come down, let's look for clues together."

"No," Song Yan stood on the bed, hunched over with his arms folded, "I won't go down. If I go down, I'll run into a 'ghost'."

"Okay, then you just stand there." Zhou Mo looked for it with others.

After a while, another boy cried out "Oh my god!" and jumped onto the bed. He said in a trembling voice, "There really is a ghost. It's under the bed."

"Yeah, yeah, I told them there was, but they didn't believe it." Song Yan said as he hugged the boy.

Zhou Mo looked up at the two men standing on the bed hugging each other and couldn't help laughing.

In other words, mobile phones are not allowed in the secret room, otherwise Zhou Mo would have to take a photo of them.

The four girls hadn't done anything yet, but the two boys couldn't hold it anymore.

After they had found all the clues, the door from the bedroom to the living room opened.

Everyone entered the living room, but Song Yan refused to get out of bed no matter what.

Because the living room is the room that was haunted by the white shadow before.

There was nothing in the room except for scattered bottles and jars, and old and tattered tables, chairs and benches.

Zhou Mo pulled Song Yan off the bed and almost forced him to walk into the living room.

Song Yan held Zhou Mo's arm all the way and refused to let go, chanting "Amitabha Amitabha" as he walked.

He even said confidently, "Han Chen, you have to protect me too. I didn't mean to get so close to your wife. If there was anyone else I could get close to, I definitely wouldn't get close to her."

Zhou Mo: “…”

Song Yan said: "Do you know how much I wish you were a man, so that I can hold you openly like a koala."

Zhou Mo retorted: "Do you know how much I wish you were a man now?"

Song Yan was unconvinced: "I'm not?"

Zhou Mo: "Who are you?"

As she spoke, her gaze moved down and stopped at Song Yan's hand that was holding her arm.

Song Yan also realized it, but he had no intention of letting go. Instead, he hugged her tighter, "I'm really scared."

"If you're afraid, don't argue with me."

"Okay," Song Yan said, "You are my friend, you have to protect me."

Zhou Mo nodded helplessly, "Okay, okay."

Just as he finished speaking, Song Yan saw a ghost passing by outside the yard through the half-open window. He was frightened again and jumped to his feet. He turned Zhou Mo's body so that she faced the window, and buried his head behind Zhou Mo, howling like a ghost.

Everyone was very scared at first, but Song Yan's screaming and jumping up and down were so loud that the people who were originally immersed in it gradually became immune to the stimulation of Song Yan's wailing. Everyone even lost the mood to look for clues and just watched Song Yan's "performance" like a monkey show.

Ding Ning, who had been quite happy to play in the escape room, lost interest and whispered to Zhou Mo, "Mr. Song is the teammate with the best experience I've ever had in all the escape rooms I've played in."

Zhou Mo couldn't help but burst out laughing.

Ding Ning was still merciful and replaced "the most courageous" with "the strongest experience".

Zhou Mo said: "When encountering someone like him, the owner of the escape room should feel that he has made a fortune."

Ding Ning: "Anyway, there are surveillance cameras. Once we get out and review the footage, we'll know."

Originally, after falling out of the cradle, Zhou Mo thought the experience was pretty good, and it was really thrilling. She had decided to look for clues carefully and have an immersive experience, but Song Yan was so annoying that he completely killed her interest.

What everyone is keen on now is no longer looking for clues, but deliberately pointing to some strange places for Song Yan to see, deliberately scaring him.

Song Yan acted like a frightened little mouse the whole time, almost calling for his mother.

After finally making it to the last level and coming out of the secret room, Song Yan's legs were shaking and his voice was hoarse.

Sitting on the sofa in the rest area, I felt tired and exhausted.

"From now on... this... don't look for me again," Song Yan said weakly, "It's too scary, too scary."

Ding Ning said: "When I played with my classmates, we had to play two books a day to have enough fun."

Song Yan waved his hand, "Lady, spare my life."

Ding Ning: "My senior sister isn't afraid, why are you so scared?"

Song Yan: "Is your senior sister an ordinary person?"

Ding Ning looked at Zhou Mo.

Zhou Mo lightly kicked Song Yan and said dissatisfiedly: "Why am I not an ordinary person?"

Song Yan: "Chen Pan said that you treat a horror movie as a romance."

Zhou Mo: "Is there a problem?"

Song Yan: "There is a problem, a huge problem. It's a miracle for a girl like you to find a partner."

Zhou Mo smiled and snorted, "It's normal for a guy like you to not find a partner."

Song Yan was furious: "You..."

"Senior Sister, it's getting late. Should we go back or..." Ding Ning asked.

"Let's go eat later," Zhou Mo pointed at Song Yan, "He's treating."

"What do you want to eat?" Song Yan patted his chest and said confidently, "I'm treating you and I guarantee you'll be satisfied."

"Uh..." Ding Ning looked at Zhou Mo and said, "Senior Sister, I have a classmate in the capital. I happen to be free today and want to meet him."

"Huh? Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

Ding Ning hesitated and said, "We just got in touch."

Before Zhou Mo could say anything, Song Yan asked, "Which university is it? I know the way around the capital, I can take you there."
