Chapter 654: Draft Ex 2 Offline 3

How many abilities does Han Chen have that she doesn't know about?

What kind of existence is the Han family behind Han Chen?

All of this seemed to gradually take shape in Zhou Mo's mind.

Han Chen asked her to be smarter. Zhou Mo now has some vague answers, but she doesn't know whether she has reached the level of "smartness" that Han Chen mentioned.

Han Chen started the car and found another place to park.

The two held hands and found a breakfast shop together.

Han Chen asked Zhou Mo to find a place to sit.

He went to the window to order his meal, asked the waiter for two pairs of disposable chopsticks, and asked the waiter not to insert a straw when making soy milk.

These are all Zhou Mo’s little habits.

Zhou Mo was happy and at ease.

After all, who doesn't want to see their loved one care about them?

Zhou Mo was already starving. He didn't eat much last night, and he had been hungry since this morning.

After Han Chen served the breakfast, Zhou Mo couldn't hold back any longer and started eating right away.

"This soup dumplings tastes really good," Zhou Mo ate with gusto.

"Another drawer?" Han Chen asked.

"Uh-huh."

"It seems you are really hungry," Han Chen said with a smile.

Normally, Zhou Mo couldn't finish a whole tray. He would just pick two at random, take a few bites, and then say he was full. He would take care of the rest.

This time, Zhou Mo had been hungry for a long time, so he ate a whole tray by himself.

Han Chen was in an inexplicably good mood, and he also followed Zhou Mo and had a good appetite.

After they finished breakfast, Han Chen suddenly thought of something and asked, "Did you bring your medicine?"

Zhou Mo slapped his forehead and then remembered.

"I did bring it... but... it's already this late. I'll drink it when I get back to the academy. There's a microwave in the office."

"Drink now," Han Chen said without hesitation, and stretched out his hand, "Give me the medicine."

Zhou Mo took out a bag of medicine from his bag and placed it in his palm.

Han Chen stood up and went to the window to find the boss and asked them to help heat up the Chinese medicine.

He saw drinks on the small shelf of the breakfast shop and picked up a bottle of "Ring Sugar and Snow Pear".

While the Chinese medicine was being heated, Han Chen asked the boss how much the breakfast cost and wanted to pay for it together.

Just as he was about to scan the code, his cell phone suddenly rang.

The number is familiar, there are no remarks, and the place of origin shows the capital.

Han Chen hesitated for a moment, but still answered the call.

"Hello, Grandpa."

Zhou Mo was waiting for Han Chen to return, but Han Chen suddenly answered the phone.

She thought it was a work call, but when she heard Han Chen call her "Grandpa", Zhou Mo's heart skipped a beat, as if something had sunk to the bottom of a valley.

A sense of worry suddenly arose.

She rubbed her knuckles nervously, her eyes fixed on Han Chen.

Han Chen did not avoid her, but turned around and sat back in his seat.

He picked up the phone and listened carefully to what the person on the receiver said.

Zhou Mo didn't know what the person on the other end of the phone said. It took quite a while anyway, and Han Chen was listening the whole time, only answering with words like "yes" and "OK", and didn't reveal much information.

She was just wondering when Han Chen ended the call.

Zhou Mo was stunned.

Is that it?

"What did your grandfather...say?"

Han Chen's brows were deep, "Nothing, just let me go home on the 11th."

"So, you want to go back?"

"I'm thinking about it."

Zhou Mo suddenly felt a little lost.

Although she could understand that it was Han Chen's home after all, there was no reason for a person not to go home.

No matter how violent the commotion was, everyone there was Han Chen's family.

Blood is thicker than water and cannot be severed.

Zhou Mo had a grudge because Han Chen had said that he would never return to the imperial capital.

Han Chen's big palm suddenly covered his hand, and the warm touch immediately made him feel at ease.

"Don't worry," Han Chen said, "My grandfather didn't say anything about your matter just now, which means he hasn't expressed his opinion yet. Maybe this time he is waiting for me to go back and discuss this matter with him."

Zhou Mo was not so optimistic, "I don't think so."

Han Chen: "So what do you think?"

Zhou Mo: "Could this be a trap to trick you back?"

Han Chen: "Probably not. My grandfather wants me to go back, and there are plenty of ways."

Zhou Mo held Han Chen's hand in return, "I don't want you to leave."

Han Chen patted Zhou Mo's hand in fear, "It's okay. My family doesn't know about our marriage yet. They will know about it sooner or later, and they will have to accept the reality of our marriage. As for the future... no matter what their attitude is, I will not separate from you. Only they will compromise, not me."

"I believe you...but..." Zhou Mo was still uneasy.

"Trust me, there will always be a way," Han Chen comforted him, "I won't leave right away. I'll stay with you for a few days."

"Yeah," Zhou Mo nodded.

Escaping will not solve the problem.

The Han family's affairs must be settled sooner or later.

Since Han Chen said so, all Zhou Mo could do was believe him.

Han Chen said, "Don't worry, I definitely won't go back alone. My mother hasn't been back to the Han family for a long time, so I'll go with her."

Zhou Mo smiled and said, "It's indeed a good idea."

Han Chen thought for a moment and said, "I don't know if my dad has time. It would be great if he could come back."

Zhou Mo jokingly said, "Do you want him to cover for you?"

Han Chen said helplessly, "My dad never cares about or inquires about the affairs of the Han family. The only thing he cares about is my grandfather's health. Apart from not following my grandfather's arrangement to pursue a career in government, he listened to everything else. Plus, he's the youngest son in the family, so my grandfather didn't expect much from him. Now that he's successful in his career, my grandfather is proud of it. My dad has also been obedient since he was a child and has rarely made any requests to the family, so... if he defends me, it might be of some use."
