"Good stuff," Lu Zhinan said with a smile, "I promise you will love it."
"No!" Chen Pan jumped off the bed and tried to run out, but was stopped by Lu Zhinan.
She struggled desperately to break free, but Lu Zhinan's shackles were simply unbreakable. Instead, Lu Zhinan pulled back, and Shen Pan fell towards Lu Zhinan.
After she fell into Lu Zhinan's arms, she jumped away like a frightened animal, but she was still held by Lu Zhinan.
Lu Zhinan gritted his teeth, dragged her to the bed, and with a push, Shen Pan fell onto the bed.
Lu Zhinan then sat astride her, pressing her from behind, and then pulled her arms, making her expose her upper arms.
Shen Pan refused to cooperate, but Lu Zhinan held her head down and buried her in the quilt, making it impossible for her to breathe.
"Be honest," Lu Zhinan let go of the hand that was pressing on her head. "You think you are very observant. Seeing that Yue Lai's shirt is dirty, you guessed the relationship between him and me? Then what? What can you do if you guess? Don't be so smart. Yue Lai is mine and will not be threatened by you. And..."
He grabbed Shen Pan's hair and forced her to look up.
"I have a way of keeping you quiet about everything."
Lu Zhinan picked up the syringe in his hand, bit it lightly with his teeth, and spit out the cap covering the pillow.
The slender iron needle tip was about to penetrate the skin on Shen Pan's upper arm.
Shen Pan took the opportunity to turn over, grabbed Lu Zhinan's arm, and bit it regardless of the consequences.
Lu Zhinan screamed and pushed Shen Pan's head away.
With a "slap", Shen Pan felt dizzy and the ceiling seemed to be spinning.
