"Are you married?"
A sharp, piercing, high-decibel sound resounded throughout the bungalow area.
"Keep your voice down." Yan Mo quickly covered Gong Ling's mouth.
"Weren't you on a blind date a few days ago? Are you getting married today?" Gong Ling raised her hand to push Yan Mo's hand away, leaning closer to Yan Mo and sniffing something: "Little girl Yan, did you drink alcohol this morning? Are you talking nonsense?"
Yan Mo pushed Gong Ling away and said solemnly, "Really."
Just as Gong Ling was about to ask something again, her phone suddenly rang.
"Wait a minute..." Gong Ling opened her bag and took out her ringing phone. Her expression darkened. "Daihe, hey... the death warrant is here..."
Gong Ling slid down the answer button.
The palace-style face-changing technique: in the previous second, he had a miserable face as if his parents had died, and in the next second, he was smiling as brightly as a flower.
Yan Mo stared blankly. Is this a professional skill in marketing?
"Mr. Chen, don't worry. No matter what, I promise to bring you a professional translator today." As soon as the call was connected, Gong Ling made a lot of promises.
Yan Mo didn't know what Gong Ling's boss had told her, and she just kept bowing and nodding:
"Yes...Okay, I'll make sure it's done."
A few minutes later, Gong Ling hung up the phone and came to Yan Mo's side with a worried look on her face: "Yan Mo, how about you come tonight?"
Yan Mo thought and suggested:
"Let's go talk to Sister Yun first. If she's willing to help, everyone will be happy. If not, I'll take it over."
After hearing what Yan Mo said, Gong Ling knew that Yan Mo had agreed, and she felt relieved.
However, before going, Gong Ling chose to make a phone call first to avoid making a wasted trip.
Gong Ling took out a piece of paper and dialed the number on it.
No one answered for a long time.
Gong Ling: "How about we go over and take a look first?"
"Okay." Yan Mo had no objection.
After getting consent, Gong Ling strode onto the motorcycle, and Yan Mo followed closely behind.
After getting on the bus.
Gong Ling recalled the address on the paper, started the car immediately and set off.
After about an hour, Yan Mo and the others returned to Jiangdong and came to Chaling Community. They found the building number according to the address. They stood downstairs and looked up at the tall buildings in front of them. Gong Ling called Ran Xiaoyun's friend again.
While Gong Ling was on the phone, Yan Mo was admiring the greenery in the park in the community.
Suddenly.
In a small lake in the green belt in the distance, a little boy about six or seven years old was holding a wooden stick, step by step as if testing the depth of the lake, and his feet were also put into the lake, looking ready to go in at any time.
He was in a very remote location, and there happened to be a huge willow tree behind him, which blocked the view of passers-by. If you didn't look carefully, you couldn't find him at all.
Because Yan Mo was standing opposite him, he could see the scene clearly. Yan Mo glanced around him and did not see any adults around him.
She was shocked. If she fell down and was not rescued in time, it would be dangerous.
Without time to think, Yan Mo quickly ran towards the little boy by the lake.
Gong Ling, who was on the phone, saw Yan Mo suddenly running into the park and shouted loudly, not knowing why:
"Yan Mo, where are you going?"
"That kid, it's too dangerous to do that." Yan Mo, who had already run far away, pointed to the boy by the lake to Gong Ling.
Looking in the direction Yan Mo pointed, Gong Ling was also startled. She quickly hung up the phone that was not connected and ran over.
Yan Mo ran to the willow tree, and before he had time to catch his breath, he saw the little boy slip and fall into the pond.
Yan Mo jumped in without thinking.
"Yan Mo..." Gong Ling, who had just arrived, saw her best friend jumping into the pond and instinctively jumped in as well.
The little boy fell into the lake and initially tried to grab the willow branches hanging down into the river, but he failed every time.
Seeing this, the boy panicked and began to struggle hard in the water. The more he struggled, the farther he got from the shore, and he kept calling for his mother.
"Mom, save...save me..."
Yan Mo jumped into the pond and saw the boy stop struggling, so he swam over quickly.
Fortunately, Yan Mo has been a good swimmer since he was young. When the little boy lost all his strength to struggle and his body began to sink.
Yan Mo picked him up, made the boy turn his head upwards, and held him up: "Little boy, hold me tight."
"Sister..." the little boy called weakly.
Just as Yan Mo was swimming towards the shore.
From the other side of the lake, Gong Ling's voice came: "Yan Mo, save me."
Hearing the sound, he looked over.
Horrified.
Gong Ling was struggling in the water at this moment.
At this moment, Yan Mo didn't know what to say, this silly girl.
I was both moved and speechless.
Helplessly dragging the boy, he changed direction and headed towards Gong Ling.
"Someone fell into the water."
Finally, someone on the shore found them falling into the lake.
Immediately following.
Yan Mo saw someone jump into the water and head towards Gong Ling. The person was very fast and closer to Yan Mo, and soon he saw Gong Ling being rescued.
He breathed a sigh of relief and swam towards the nearest shore.
With the help of everyone, several people were rescued to shore.
"Isn't this An'an from Xiao Lin's family?" Someone in the group recognized the little boy Yan Mo had saved. "Does anyone have Xiao Lin's phone number? Call her quickly."
"An An?" Yan Mo called out to An An, who was lying in her arms and was obviously frightened. "Is your name An An?"
"Woo woo..." The little boy burst into tears when he heard Yan Mo calling him.
Yan Mo was worried about Gong Ling's condition and was extremely anxious. Although he saw Gong Ling being rescued, he didn't see that she was safe and sound. Yan Mo couldn't let go of his worries.
"Auntie, can you help me watch him? I'm going to see my friend."
"Okay." The auntie caught An An: "An An, come here, auntie."
