Chapter 220 Rushing Back Overnight

Yan Mo was watching a video intently when a dazzling light suddenly appeared outside the window. At first she didn't pay much attention to it, thinking it was a passing car, until she heard the sound of her door opening.

Who would come to her house at this time?

Mom and Dad are at home. My sister and Tangtang went to bed early in the morning, and Aunt Hong didn't go out either.

Could it be...

Thinking it was him, Yan Mo jumped out of bed instantly, ran to the window barefoot, hurriedly opened the curtains, and looked towards the door on the first floor.

At this moment, Aunt Hong put on her clothes and opened the iron gate. A military green off-road Hummer slowly drove into her family yard.

It was really him. Without thinking, she turned and walked to the door, immediately opened the door, rushed out, and ran downstairs.

Downstairs, Si Ze parked the car, patted his cheek tiredly, opened the door and got out.

"Son-in-law, why did you come back so late?" Aunt Hong asked with concern: "Do you need me to prepare something to eat for you?"

"Thank you, Aunt Hong, but no need." Si Ze shook his head, picked up his coat and briefcase from the car, closed the car door and went upstairs. Just as he reached the corner of the stairs on the first floor, he ran into Yan Mo who was coming towards him.

At this moment, she was only wearing a thin silk nightgown, and her white bare feet were stepping on the ground, slightly red from the cold. She looked like this, which made him frown.

"Si Ze." Yan Mo's eyes flashed with light, and he shouted excitedly: "Why are you back? Didn't you say you wouldn't come back tonight?" As he spoke, he ignored the stairs under his feet and ran towards him happily.

"Be careful." Si Ze was shocked.

He climbed up the three stairs, caught the little woman who was about to jump down, held her tightly in his arms, and returned to the room with her in his arms without saying a word.

Along the way, Yan Mo kept talking:

"Si Ze, didn't you say you wouldn't come back?"

She didn't answer, but that didn't affect her excitement. She continued:

"Si Ze, have you been driving all the way without taking a break?"

"Si Ze, are you rushing back because you missed me so much?"

"Si Ze..."

She asked a lot of questions, but Si Ze didn't want to respond. He silently opened the door, held her in his arms, and entered the room. When he was about to put her on the bed, Yan Moshuang suddenly put her arms around his neck and refused to let go.

"Let go." Si Ze said in a low voice, his tone was not very good, and he was obviously a little angry.

Yan Mo didn't know why he was angry, and she didn't want to know. She only knew that she just wanted to tell him at this moment that she missed him very much today.

She did so, and suddenly she moved closer to him, put her face against his, rubbed him gently, and murmured:

"Si Ze, I miss you so much."

Si Ze froze. What had she said? Did she miss him? Or did she miss him a lot? He almost couldn't believe what he heard.

Had he been driving all night and was hallucinating? The normally stubborn little girl was actually whispering softly in his ear that she missed him?

"Little girl, what did you say?" Si Ze wanted to confirm it again.

Yan Mo refused to give in, and she longed to hear him say that he missed her: "Si Ze, you haven't answered me yet! Do you miss me?"

After being tormented by her like this, he no longer had any anger left. There was only deep helplessness and inability to do anything in his eyes.

"I want to." Si Ze said helplessly. He reached out and gently removed her arms that were around his neck, and laid her horizontally on the bed.

Yan Mo cooperated by lying on his side, biting his lips slightly, supporting his head with his right arm, his long, beautiful hair like a waterfall hanging naturally vertically on one side, his straight legs leaning slightly forward, his right leg slowly climbing up from his leg to his abdomen, and his big toe playfully drawing circles.

Si Ze's eyes burned with fire. He grabbed her bare ankles and said hoarsely, "Mo Mo, stop it."

He suppressed the restlessness in his body and pulled the quilt over her tightly. He was afraid that she would make trouble again. He pressed himself against the quilt and stared at her haggard face and her eyes that were as black as pandas. With some heartache, he reached out his hand and covered her eyes. He whispered in her ear, "I'm going to take a shower. You go to sleep."

After saying that, he let her go, stood up, picked up the bathrobe from the shelf, and went into the bathroom.

Yan looked at the bathroom, listening to the sound of water splashing from inside. After a sleepless night, her double eyelids began to droop, and she gradually fell into a dream.

When Si Ze came out, he saw Yan Mo sleeping peacefully on the bed. He walked to the bedside and covered her with the quilt again. He lay down behind her, hugged her from behind, kissed the back of her neck, and said lovingly, "Silly girl." Then he closed his eyes tiredly and fell into a deep sleep.

the next day.

After Aunt Hong's story, everyone in the Yan family knew that Si Ze would not be back until after four in the morning. Lao Mu immediately changed his plan to return home in the morning to the afternoon.

So no one went upstairs to call Yan Mo and Si Ze until after ten o'clock in the morning, when Si Ze woke up naturally. He picked up the watch on the bedside table and took a look at it. Then, he rubbed his still swollen head helplessly. After staying up all night for forty-eight hours, the sequelae were still serious!

Si Ze sighed, thinking that he was getting old. When he was younger, he hadn't slept for a week in the army, but he was not as tired as he is now. After sitting on the bed for a while, he was sure that he was feeling better. He lifted the quilt, got up silently, put on his clothes, gently opened the door and walked out.

Not long after he left, Yan Mo slowly woke up. Seeing that it was getting late, he quickly washed and dressed, and followed him out of the room.

Downstairs, she saw Si Ze and grandpa sitting on the sofa reading newspapers, while grandma and her mother were packing things.

Seeing Yan Mo coming out so quickly, Si Ze put down the newspaper and said, "Mo Mo, grandpa and the others said they would leave this afternoon. After breakfast, you should go back to sleep for a while!"

The girl waited for him all night last night, and he made her sleep poorly the night before. Since the departure time had been changed, he wanted her to get some sleep.

Old Wood also agreed: "Yes! Momo, you have dark circles under your eyes. Go back to sleep!"

In this case, Yan Mo did not refuse and quickly went downstairs to finish breakfast, preparing to return to the second floor. When she went up the stairs, she paused and looked at Si Ze.

He didn't get much sleep either! She wanted to call him, but because there were so many people around, Yan Mo finally said something and went back to his room and took a deep sleep. She slept until after two in the afternoon before she woke up.

Yan Mo came to the first floor. Everything had been packed. Si Ze and her father were loading the things into their car. She brought a bag of bird's nests to help, but before she even reached the car, Si Ze took the things from her and said, "Just go and have some rest."

"Yes! Momo, you don't have to do these." Grandma also came to Yan Mo's side and gently pushed her to the dining room: "Those things will be ready quickly. You should eat lunch first. After that, we should be able to set off."
