Si Ze sat by the river for two full hours before driving to Xiziwan in Jingyang District, where he recently lived.
"Yan Mo, it's right here, pull over." The co-pilot Shang Hua looked down at the address sent by his assistant on WeChat. After comparing it, he made sure there was no problem and asked Yan Mo to stop the car.
"Are you sure it's here?" Yan Mo observed the surrounding road conditions and looked for the most suitable place to park.
Lu Shanghua nodded.
The house here is a new house he bought last year with the help of his assistant. This is his first time here today.
It was too late to go back to his home in the suburbs, so Lu Shanghua thought about staying here for one night and going back tomorrow.
After getting Lu Shanghua's affirmation, Yan Mo slowly stopped the car on the side of the road, unbuckled his seat belt, and prepared to send Lu Shanghua off.
"No need to see me off." Lu Shanghua refused Yan Mo's offer to see him off, unbuckled his seat belt, pushed the door and got out: "You are the most tired today, go back and rest early."
"Shanghua, you too, remember to help me." Yan Mo reminded.
"I'm free these few days. Call me when you have an appointment." Lu Shanghua made an OK gesture.
"Okay, go in!"
Yan Mo watched Lu Shanghua enter the residential complex until his figure disappeared from view. He then released the handbrake and changed gears.
Everything was ready. Just as Yan Mo held the steering wheel with both hands and stepped on the gas with his right foot.
suddenly.
A strong arm stretched out from the car window and pressed on the steering wheel, preventing Yan Mo from taking any further action.
Yan Mo was shocked, but did not panic. She stared at the big hand, calmly stretched out her right hand, touched the mineral water in the cup holder, grabbed it and threw it.
The whole process takes less than 1 second.
"It's me." Si Ze felt pain and quickly bent down and said, "Get out of the car, let's talk."
"Mr. Si, it's you. Please speak up next time. I'll be scared to death in the middle of the night." Yan Mo patted his chest in fear, pulled the handbrake, turned off the lights and the engine, opened the door and got out of the car.
Due to the temperature difference between the car and the outside, Yan Mo, who had just gotten off the car, felt a chill and hurriedly pulled her coat.
Seeing this, Si Ze instinctively took off his windbreaker. At this moment, he remembered the scenes that happened today, and the man who had just not given the coat in his hand to Yan Mo.
"Thank you!" Yan Mo took the coat from him and put it on without hesitation: "What can I do for you, Mr. Si?"
In this situation, he took off his coat and there was no reason for her to refuse.
Si Ze stared at Yan Mo with his eyes as deep as the sea, trying to see the regret of playing two games on her face, but he was disappointed.
She was still the same as always, smiling cleanly and innocently without a trace of impurities.
Si Ze usually likes it the most. Seeing her smile like this to him makes him feel very comfortable.
But at this moment, it hurt him deeply, as if there was something stuck in his throat.
"Ms. Yan, I think you still remember our contract!" Si Ze turned his head away and shifted his gaze to remind her.
"I remember." Yan Mo was confused: "Mr. Lu, you asked me to come down just to say this? Did I violate any of the rules? I went to such great lengths to come down here."
"Hey, hey, hey, whose car is this? Is it blocking the lane?"
An army green Hummer with its engine running and the driver's door open was parked in the middle of the Xiziwan by-road, with several cars lined up behind it wanting to enter Xiziwan.
Yan Mo quickly apologized to the car behind him: "Sorry, we will leave immediately."
After saying that, Yan Mo took Si Ze's wrist and walked towards Si Ze's car.
Only then did Si Ze realize that he had done something that touched his bottom line.
After the two got in the car, Si Ze immediately started the car, drove out of this lane, and came to the parking space next to the back door of Xiziwan.
"Go ahead!" Yan Mo crossed his arms across his chest, looked at Si Ze, and waited for his next words.
Si Ze was not the type to beat around the bush. After a moment's deliberation, he asked:
"What is your relationship with the man you picked up today?"
"Shang Hua?" Yan Mo asked uncertainly, "Do you know him?"
Unless Si Ze knew Lu Shanghua, why would he ask about Lu Shanghua.
Si Ze's face became even uglier. Shang Hua?
Even calling him so affectionately, Si Ze said coldly:
"I'm asking you, not you asking me, what is your relationship with him?"
Yan Mo was confused. What did he mean?
What is her relationship with Lu Shanghua? What does it have to do with him? Why did he come to question her?
"What's the deal with this kind of contract?" Yan Mo brought up the clauses she had added: "I remember before we got married, I mentioned that neither party should interfere with each other's private lives."
"What is your relationship?" Si Ze asked the same question.
Yan Mo also got angry and was ready to open the car door and get out.
With a "ding dong" sound, Si Ze had already locked the car door.
"What do you want? I didn't violate any rules. What right do you have to question me?" Yan Mo glared at Si Ze and scolded him with gritted teeth.
"On the back of the last page of the contract, Article 3 of the Additional Regulations states that you cannot cheat during the engagement period unless both parties agree." Si Ze handed the paper contract to Yan Mo and said something lightly that made Yan Mo regret.
Yan Mo picked up the contract with a look of disbelief, turned to the back of the last page, and there were indeed ten additional clauses.
Glancing over, all the evidence was against her. Yan Mo checked her signature repeatedly. It was true. She felt like hitting herself to death with a piece of tofu.
When she checked the contract, she only glanced at it roughly because she had read the electronic version. Who would have thought that there were additional terms on the back.
Too insidious. As the saying goes, all businessmen are dishonest, and this is exactly what Si Ze is all about.
"You cheated." Yan Mo was not convinced.
"I reminded you repeatedly to look carefully, but you were careless, don't blame me." Si Ze said without a trace of guilt: "Now tell me! If you cheat, you can prepare the liquidated damages."
