Chapter 15 Harmony in the Family Brings Prosperity in All Things
Tang Rong paused for a moment, then said weakly, "This is too rushed! Can't we slow down a bit?"

Lin Yuanshu smiled slightly, lifted the pork belly, and said seriously, "Compared to a better future, I value the immediate gains more."
She refused any empty promises; she valued what she could gain in the present more than the future.
Director Tang wasn't angry at Lin Yuanshu's words. She said softly, "Your personality is quite interesting."
Ultimately, she's still just a young girl, and her vision isn't long-term enough. That's actually a good thing. Knowing what she likes allows you to get her to do things for you more effectively. That's just right—not too clever, not too foolish. You can trust someone like that.
Lin Yuanshu smiled sheepishly, then turned and left the Tang family. The smile vanished the moment she turned away.
To reiterate, she was simply giving the answer and reaction that Director Tang wanted.
The plan was progressing well, and she successfully established a relationship with Director Tang. Director Tang had a very good impression of her. The only drawback might be that after entering the chemical plant, she would be branded with Director Tang's mark by others.

The three of them shook their heads in unison. This was the first time they had seen their father show such a tough side. Usually, their mother made most of the decisions at home, and their father would just acquiesce.
Zhou Dafu sat on the stool in a good mood, reading the newspaper. As the saying goes, harmony in the family brings prosperity. With no one making a fuss, it was much quieter, and he was in the mood to read the newspaper.
