His head was getting more and more dizzy. Not long after he walked out of the banquet hall, his feet started to feel weak and a slight pain rose from his heart. Si Jiu staggered and felt his arm being held forcefully.
She turned her head and saw an "old acquaintance".
The triangular-eyed guy whose teeth she kicked out.
"Hey, Princess, why are you so careless? You almost fell down. What if you broke your jaw?"
The unpleasant smell of cigarettes and sweat on the man made Si Jiu feel a little disgusted. She held her breath and wanted to speak, only to find that her tongue was stiff and paralyzed.
"What's wrong with you, Princess? Are you drunk? Then let me serve you."
Della grinned, holding the wine steward and said to the maid, "I can handle this here by myself. Go and bring Charles over later."
"yes."
Sijiu was carried away quickly by Della. He was very familiar with the terrain of the palace, and as a guard, he also understood the patrol patterns of the palace guards. He avoided everyone along the way and took Sijiu farther and farther away.
In the banquet hall, Charles exchanged a few words with his colleagues, and when he turned around, he found that the wine steward was gone.
I guess he went to his room to rest.
He felt inexplicably uneasy.
Just as I was hesitating whether to go look for him, Princess Daya came over with a wine glass in hand, "Sir Charles."
"Princess." Charles bowed.
"Why are you here alone? Aren't you going to dance?" Dai Ya's beautiful eyes flickered. "Where's that prince you hold so dear? He's not with you. Could it be that he's gone somewhere with that other handsome man?"
"Princess, if you have no further instructions, I'll excuse you."
"stop."
Charles' expression remained unchanged. "Princess, please give your orders."
He was as obedient as a dog in front of that bitch, but so arrogant in front of me. Dai Ya looked at Charles with resentment, and suddenly smiled again, "Charles, you know it."
She suddenly came over, and the strong smell of perfume rushed into Charles' nose. Almost instantly, he moved two steps to the side, leaving Dai Ya empty-handed. She stumbled and almost fell.
Ignoring Daiya's resentful look, Charles said calmly, "I don't know what the princess is talking about."
"You know. You know I like you and I would do anything for you. But you treat me like a piece of trash."
"The princess is drunk. Let the maid take you to rest."
“Haha, Charles, you are always so cold.
But that's also your charm.
It's a pity, why do you give your tenderness to others? "
Charles turned around and was about to leave when Dai Ya grabbed his sleeve.
After all, it wasn't a good look to argue with each other. Furthermore, the other party was a member of the royal family to whom he had sworn allegiance. So Charles stopped.
"I know you don't like me." Daiya showed a weak and pitiful expression, "Would you please dance with me, Charles?"
Charles used silence instead of refusal.
"Even though I've made such a humble request, you're still unwilling?"
Charles turned away and saw a maid suddenly rushing in.
He recognized at a glance that the maid was the one who led Si Jiu. The maid's face was full of anxiety, which made Charles' eyelids twitch for no reason. He brushed away Dai Ya's fingers without thinking and walked towards the maid.
"What happened?"
The maid was relieved when she saw Charles and said quickly and quietly, "Sir, please go and see the princess. She's drunk and has a headache. She's been crying out for you."
"Where is His Highness? Lead the way."
Dai Ya watched as Charles ruthlessly pushed her away. When he heard that the wine steward was looking for him, he couldn't wait to go out, as if he wanted to run to her side. He drank the bright red liquid in the glass in one gulp and revealed a cold and twisted smile.
"Charles, you forced me to do this."
After tonight, I want you to crawl at my feet like a dog.
