The Round Table and the Twelve Knights (04)

Qi Yandieli's eyes were full of grievance.

"Xiaojiu, I changed planes three times in a row. I'm so tired and have a headache now."

Si Jiu straightened his head and said, "If you are tired, go home and sleep. If you have a headache, go see a doctor. It's useless to come to me."

After saying that, he ignored Qi Yan and said to the person in the front driver's seat, "Uncle Wang, let's go to Luyin Yayuan."

Uncle Wang in front said "Okay" and started the car.

Qi Yan refused, "Why? Didn't we agree to go to my place..."

"When did I tell you?"

"Just now I told you to send me your location after you separate from your friends and I would come to pick you up. Didn't you refuse?" Qi Yan felt very aggrieved.

"Yes, I'm in your car now."

"But I want to take you back with me."

"My eldest brother is back." Si Jiu shook the phone in his hand. "I just received the message after calling you. I thought you might be on your way... Otherwise, if you feel that I have delayed your time to go home and rest, Uncle Wang, please find a place to drop me off in front and I will take a taxi back by myself."

Qi Yan: “…”

"You take advantage of me to spoil you!" Qi Yan muttered.

The wine steward pretended not to hear.

Qi Yan remained angry for a few minutes without saying anything. He suddenly moved to the car door, then fell towards Si Jiu and rested his head on her legs.

When Sijiu raised his hand, he saw Qi Yan with his eyes closed. He said tiredly, "I've been on a plane for more than ten hours and I haven't recovered from the jet lag. My head really hurts. Xiaojiu, let me lean on you."

Sijiu's hand paused, and for a moment his gaze fell on his slightly blue eyes. He sighed helplessly, and ultimately did not push him away again.

The car drove silently into the gate of Green Garden, passed the courtyard and the musical fountain, and stopped in front of the main building.

Si Jiu stretched out his finger and poked Qi Yan's head, "I'm here."

Qi Yan didn't even open his eyes, and even turned his head and buried his face in her legs, looking like he was sleeping very soundly.

"I know you're pretending to be asleep. I'll count to three."

"three."

Qi Yan jumped up suddenly and looked at Si Jiu sadly.

"Thank you for bringing me back. You should go back and have a good rest for two days. If you have a severe headache, ask Zhang Li to buy some medicine for you." Si Jiu said and got out of the car.

Qi Yan sat in the car looking at her back, all the grievances and resentments on his face disappeared, and the pair of eyes that seemed to be alluring all the time were now dark, unable to tell whether he was happy or angry.

Until her figure was completely out of sight, Qi Yan lowered his eyelids and said indifferently: "Drive."

Uncle Wang didn't dare to say a word. He started the car quickly and turned around to leave.

Si Jiu didn't see anyone in the lobby on the first floor, and couldn't help feeling a little strange.

According to the eldest brother's habit, when he knew she was coming back, he would at least wait for her downstairs, even if he didn't go to pick her up.

Why is it so quiet today?

As she walked in, she looked around and asked, "Brother, where is it?"

I looked around the living room and there was no one there.

Si Jiu was a little confused. Did he come back too soon and his elder brother hadn't come back yet?

Si Jiu shook her head, threw herself onto the sofa, took out her cell phone and tapped on it a few times out of boredom. Because she didn't get enough sleep and Zhao Yue woke her up early to rush out to catch the subway and meet someone at the airport, she felt sleepy and her eyes gradually became smaller. After a while, she fell asleep completely.

I don’t know how long it took.

There were footsteps outside coming closer and closer, then suddenly stopped in the hallway, and then the footsteps became infinitely lighter, so light that they were almost inaudible.

The man in a black shirt, with his suit draped over his arm, gently walked to the sofa. His eyes, which had a lighter color than normal pupils and a sense of inorganic alienation, gradually became filled with warmth when they fell on the girl sleeping curled up on the sofa.

Lin Su leaned over, stretched out his fingers and gently brushed the hair that was blocking her cheek, his voice so low that it was almost a whisper.

"I'm back."
