The Round Table and the Twelve Knights (06)

Sijiu was so focused on stealing food that he didn't notice Cheng Ze's expression at all.

"Of course! A man like my second brother, handsome, rich, with culinary skills, gentle, thoughtful, and romantic, is so hard to find even with a flashlight... Uh, I'll just have one more bite!"

She raised her face and looked at her second brother with innocence.

The second brother held the plate of prawns in one hand, raised it to a height that Sijiu could not easily reach, and pushed his glasses on the bridge of his nose with the other hand, smiling at Sijiu, "Even though you praised me so much just to eat it secretly, but... I won't give you any."

"Ah... why... aren't you happy when I praise you? Shouldn't you reward me? I'll just have another bite!"

As she spoke, she saw that her second brother was still smiling, looking very warm, but in fact he would not make any compromise at all.

Sijiu became anxious, so he stood on tiptoe, grabbed his arm with one hand, and tried to reach him with the other hand.

Her posture is almost the same as throwing herself into someone's arms.

The eyes behind the lenses flashed, and Cheng Ze raised the dish in his hand higher without making a sound, which made Si Jiu tiptoe closer, as if he wanted to climb directly on him.

In this posture, she was standing very unsteadily, with most of her weight leaning on Cheng Ze.

Cheng Ze felt the fullness, and his right hand rested on her waist inconspicuously.

At first glance, it doesn't look much different than a hug.

The corners of his mouth curled up in a pleased arc.

"Hey! Cheng Ze, don't go too far!"

The greedy little cat was annoyed because he couldn't get any food.

Cheng Ze smiled, "We clearly agreed to just take a bite..."

As Cheng Ze finished speaking, his hands suddenly felt empty, and a slightly cold voice sounded behind him.

"Why are you teasing her?"

As soon as my arms were empty, the little greedy cat slipped away like a fish.

She smiled sweetly at the person behind her, her voice rising higher than when she spoke to herself, unconsciously revealing her unrestrained intimacy with this person.

"Ayu, when did you come back?"

Cheng Yu, who was a full head taller than Cheng Ze, glanced coldly at him, then turned to Si Jiu and smiled brightly.

"just."

Cheng Yu said, putting down the food he had just grabbed, and reached over Cheng Ze to pull Si Jiu out. "I brought you the Taiyaki you've been thinking about for a long time last time. Do you want to try it?"

"Yes. The line at that place must be very long, and it's so far away. Did you go there specially?"

"No, it's on the way."

"Well, that's good. By the way, what have you been busy with recently? I haven't seen you for almost half a month. Why are you back today?"

"I went to Xizhou and heard that my eldest brother was back. I thought you would come over."

"So you went out of your way to buy me taiyaki?"

"Yeah, are you happy? Are you touched?"

"Yes, yes, I'm so touched..."

The kitchen, which was bustling just now, suddenly became silent as the sounds became farther and farther away.

The table full of dishes that have been taken out of the pot are still emitting wisps of hot steam and fragrance, but for some reason there is a sense of loneliness as if no one is paying attention to them.

Cheng Ze lowered his head, pushed his glasses, turned around and continued to process the ingredients he had not finished processing, as if nothing had happened just now.

In the large living room outside, Si Jiu, holding a Taiyaki in his mouth, and Cheng Yu were sitting cross-legged on a small cushion by the floor-to-ceiling window, shoulders touching, heads close together, looking at the screen of the mobile phone in Si Jiu's hand together, truly demonstrating what two veteran "phone-drowsers" looked like.

This was the scene Cheng Yuan saw when he came in.

"So I say, straight men's aesthetic is really confusing. Look, I just said that with that green skirt, it would definitely be more than just this point."

"Uh... pink with... green?" The tall young man could barely suppress his disgust in his tone, and Si Jiu glared at him fiercely.

"Okay, okay, well, I'm too short-sighted. Next time I won't interrupt and will just listen to you, okay?"

He rubbed the girl's head and said, "Don't be angry."

"I'm not angry." Si Jiu glanced at him and moved his hand away from his head. "Don't touch my head. You won't grow taller."

Cheng Yu opened his mouth, as if he wanted to hold back, but he really couldn't help it, so he said very tactfully (and self-righteously), "I don't think I will grow any taller at 20..."

Before he could finish his words, he was beaten up by Sijiu.
