Si Jiu stepped out of the door and the next moment found himself in a sea of fragrant flowers.
It is a large field of wild roses in full bloom, mostly red, with white and pink dotted in between. It seems to have no end at first glance, and there is an indescribable sense of shock.
Si Jiu was stunned for a moment.
"This sea of flowers was taken care of by Chu Yi."
Charles stood side by side with her, following her gaze and looking forward, “I originally wanted to plant roses, but roses seem to have a deeper meaning to General Chu.
There's a pavilion and a swing in front, would you like to take a look?"
That scoundrel actually has such a refined taste for growing flowers?
I really can't tell.
But now that I know, I feel that it is not so inconsistent.
Sijiu didn't say anything, but walked forward with Charles along the cobblestone path in the sea of flowers.
…
Xiu is such a big guy, and he seems to be hiding in the back, but his presence is surprisingly strong.
Unless you are blind, you can't pretend not to notice.
Sijiu walked around outside for a long time, admired the flowers, saw the uniquely shaped pavilion, ate the snacks inside, and sat on the white swing. Until the end, he still couldn't find where the exit was or how far it was.
She knew in her heart that it must be the magic circle they were talking about that was working.
It was impossible for her to run away on her own.
So I lost interest and went home.
This night was unexpectedly peaceful. No one came to bother Si Jiu, and she didn't dream of anyone.
Early the next morning, Si Jiu woke up naturally, got up, washed up, and prepared to fulfill the exchange conditions he had agreed to.
The living room was once again full of people.
"Breakfast first?"
"I have no appetite."
To be honest, she was actually quite nervous.
She didn't know whether she was worried about whether the hypnosis would be effective or not, or whether she was worried about whether Xie Yu would tamper with the hypnosis.
But subconsciously she felt that Xie Yu was not that kind of person.
Fortunately, Xie Yu may have understood her nervousness and urgency, and did not force her to eat breakfast, but just handed her a glass of milk.
"To cushion it."
Sijiu didn't like drinking, but he didn't want to waste time on such meaningless things, so he took it and drank it all in one gulp.
Then she and Charles followed Xie Yu to a room that seemed to be a study.
Chu Yi and Xiu stayed outside the door, said nothing, and helped them close the door.
"I'll just sit here, okay?" Charles pointed to a seat in the corner and said to the waiter.
Sijiu nodded at him, and pinched the cuffs of his sleeves unconsciously. He felt something slippery on his fingertips, and it turned out that he was sweating.
Charles paused as he was about to walk over, then turned around and hesitantly placed his hand on Sijiu's shoulder and squeezed it gently, "Don't be afraid, I'll be right here with you."
Being looked at gently by his sapphire eyes, Si Jiu was surprisingly not as nervous as before.
Xie Yu waited until Charles left before letting Si Jiu sit on the recliner next to the floor-to-ceiling window.
She lay there anxiously, watching Xie Yu sit across from her and asked, "Should I close my eyes?"
Xie Yu stared at her for a few seconds and said, "No need."
Sijiu thought hypnosis was a rather magical thing. In her understanding, hypnosis had a set of conventional terms and methods, and perhaps even required the use of props like pocket watches?
But Xie Yu did not do that.
In front of Si Jiu, he picked up a book and opened it, then said to Si Jiu, "Let me read you a story."
Sijiu couldn't help but glance at the cover of the book, on which were five big words: Andersen's Fairy Tales.
Sijiu: "..."
Isn't this way of opening hypnosis wrong?
