The Round Table and the Twelve Knights (87)

When Mr. Shen discovered that the 'self' in his arms was completely dead, that expression made Si Jiu feel heartbroken.

His sobs, so soft that they were almost inaudible, sounded as if they were ringing in the ears of Si Jiu who was watching.

"How long are you going to sleep? I'm waiting for you."

These were his last words.

Then, the image in the mirror froze.

After nearly three minutes of freezing, the picture changed again, and it was "his own" figure that appeared in the picture.

This scene actually looks a bit scary.

Because on one side, Shen Huai was holding the breathless 'Sijiu', who seemed to have turned into a sculpture and was frozen in silence, while on the other side, there was a figure exactly the same as the person in Shen Huai's arms, looking at Sijiu outside the mirror with a smile.

"You never loved her, right?" asked Si Jiu in the mirror.

When Si Jiu looked at his 'self' in the mirror, his eyes gradually became colder and colder. "Who are you? You pretended to be me, and I don't know how you made such a fake movie for me to watch. What do you want to do?"

"Do you really think this is fake?" Si Jiu in the mirror said, "Then why are you crying?"

Did I cry?

Sijiu blinked, then felt the coolness on his cheeks.

"This is the ending of your and his first life." Si Jiu in the mirror said again, "Isn't it too pitiful? You think so too, right? Do you want to give him a happy ending? I can help you."

Her voice was full of temptation.

"Do you know how painful he was after losing you?

His life had just begun, but it ended on this day because you chose to leave.

From that day on, there was no more joy, happiness, or joy in his life. There was only endless pain, longing, guilt, and regret.

He hated himself for having noticed your abnormal physical condition a long time ago, but he repeatedly gave up on investigating it, thus missing the opportunity to cure you.

He believes your death was caused by his negligence.

So losing you is the most severe punishment for his mistake.

Because he was convinced of this, he indulged himself in pain and spent his short life in misery.

Even though he was saying such cruel words, the 'self' in the mirror had a smile on his face, and even a hint of satisfaction.

Sijiu felt dizzy from the headache, and even the pain gave her a brief burst of strength. She bent down, grabbed the teacup in front of her, and threw it at the mirror, yelling, "Shut up!"

The teacup didn't even touch the mirror, as if it was blocked by an invisible wall, and fell to the ground with a "bang".

She pressed one of her temples tightly with one hand, tilted her head, and looked at herself in the mirror with red eyes.

"I'm just trying to help you." She spread her hands in the mirror. "Why can't you tell the difference between other people's kindness and malice? You're really not cute at all."

"But who says I'm a generous and kind person?

Even though you treat me so badly, I will still help you."

She said, giving Sijiu a big smile.

Sijiu had seen this kind of smile of his many times, whether in the photos taken by his elder and second brothers or when he looked in the mirror.

But I have never felt that I could laugh in such a creepy way, making my heart chill.

She was clearly smiling sweetly.

Why did she seem to see a devil with bared fangs?
