The Round Table and the Twelve Knights (93)

Sijiu opened his eyes again from his slumber.

She was already accustomed to being knocked unconscious by Chen Wu at every turn and finding her surroundings completely different when she woke up.

But this time it was still beyond her expectations.

She found herself in a room made of mirrors.

Everything in front, behind, left, right, even above your head and under your feet, is a mirror.

The mirror reflected her appearance from different angles, and to be honest, it was a bit scary.

She quickly felt around and found that she was not as powerless as before, so she stood up immediately and observed her surroundings.

It was like a completely enclosed room made of mirrors. The space was not big, only 30 square meters at most. There was nothing in the room except the chair she had just sat on.

It is square and has no doors or windows.

The possibility of escaping quietly from here is zero.

So she was thinking, should she try to break the mirror and see what happens?

As soon as this thought came to mind, changes began to occur in the mirror.

The mirror in front of Si Jiu no longer reflected her shadow.

The light suddenly turned from bright to dark, and the picture showed a gloomy room with a figure flashing across the room.

Sijiu's eyes widened suddenly. Although it was only for a short time, she recognized the figure.

It’s Mr. Shen.

Soon, the scene changed again. It was no longer the dark room, but another dark corridor.

Mr. Shen leaned against the wall with his head down as if he was resting, one hand hanging by his side and the other covering his abdomen.

Si Jiu didn't have time to be surprised that Mr. Shen was able to stand up. Instead, she noticed the abnormal weakness of his hanging hand and the way he pressed his abdomen, which made her wonder if he was injured.

Si Jiu subconsciously took a few steps forward and moved closer to the wall made of mirrors, wanting to see more clearly. However, at this moment, the picture suddenly disappeared, and then another picture appeared. This time, the person in the picture was no longer Chen Huai, but Lin Su.

This time, it was clear at a glance that Lin Su was injured.

He was running in the stairwell, blood was constantly flowing on his forehead, and a dull and heavy sound was chasing him from behind him. In the silent corridor, besides the noise made by the pursuer, there was also Lin Su's panting.

His increasingly heavy breathing showed the rapid drain of his strength.

"Brother..." Si Jiu murmured, and rushed forward, but only fell upon a cold mirror wall. At this moment, a large shadow appeared silently behind Lin Su, and Lin Su seemed to be unaware of it.

The dull footsteps sounded like they were one or two floors away from him, so he thought the pursuers were still far away.

"Brother, be careful behind you!" Even though he knew he couldn't hear him, Si Jiu still couldn't help shouting.

Fortunately, Lin Su suddenly realized something was wrong at the last moment. He reacted extremely quickly, crouched down, and rolled to the side. The large black shadow whizzed past his head and hit the wall with a bang, leaving a big hole in the wall.

If Lin Su had not dodged just now, he would probably have been cut in half.

Si Jiu felt like his breathing was about to stop.

The black shadow disappeared without a trace after hitting the wall. At the same time, the footsteps that had been chasing him just now also disappeared at some point.

Lin Su leaned against the corner of the stairs and took a few breaths. Only then did he finally have time to raise his hand and wipe the blood that was flowing down his forehead.

This lifted his hair up, revealing his light-colored eyes.

Si Jiu saw deep anxiety and fatigue in his eyes.
