"Master, Master, look..."
The young man ran in excitedly from outside, holding something in his hand carefully.
Sijiu was sitting on the beauty couch, holding a half-finished black waist belt in his hand.
Shen Xinghe took a look at it, pulled the unfinished product out of his master's hand with disgust, and threw it aside casually. Seeing that his master raised his head and looked at him disapprovingly, he hurriedly put the thing in his hand under his master's nose in a flattering manner.
Sijiu looked down and saw a goose yellow, fluffy little duck in his palm. It might have been dizzy from being carried around all the way by him, and it looked super cute.
Seeing his master's eyes light up, the young man was very happy. He squeezed in and insisted on sitting down on the not very spacious beauty couch. "Master, isn't it cute?"

The master poked the duckling's head with his finger, then looked at the boy in confusion, "Where did it come from?"
She remembered that they didn't have ducks?

"You went to the village down the mountain to steal people's things again?"
One time, when they went down the mountain together, Si Jiu looked at a kitten that had just been born at someone's door for a few more seconds. That night, when he was half asleep, the kitten appeared beside Si Jiu's pillow.
Later, Si Jiu grabbed Shen Xinghe's ears and beat him up, and he secretly returned the cat to the person.
But since then, he seemed to have been turned on. Whenever he saw any cute little animals, he liked to present them to Si Jiu.
"No, I paid for it." The boy said in a low voice, "Master, don't you like them? You also like those little animals I gave you before, don't you? Why don't you keep any of them?"
Because I don't want to develop feelings.
Si Jiu said nothing, but nodded the duckling's head in his hand. "Okay, keep it. When it's fattened up, you can make soup with it."
Shen Xinghe: “…”
After saying that, she reached out to grab the waist belt that had just been thrown aside and continued working.
Shen Xinghe put the little duck aside, tilted his head on his master's shoulder, and complained, "I don't like black. Why didn't Master make white? Master doesn't love me."
"I made it for you too." Si Jiu didn't even raise his head.

Si Jiu was not disturbed at all. She opened her eyes and saw the young man's red eyes staring at her without blinking in the dim candlelight.
"Xinghe..." She rubbed her eyes and her hand was caught by the man.
"Don't rub it. Just close your eyes and go to sleep if you're so sleepy." He kissed her eyes and held her in his arms.
Si Jiu was a little awake, "Why don't you sleep?"
"I want to see you."
"I see it every now and then, what's so good about it." Si Jiu curled his lips, "Don't hug me so tightly, it's making me unable to sleep."
"I'm afraid you're cold."
"...It's early summer... Forget it, just hold me. I can't sleep anyway..."
The fingers gripping her waist tightened, and she was lifted up by the young man with both hands.
"Since I can't sleep, I might as well do something else..."
