Yesterday afternoon, I experienced severe chest pain that lasted for over an hour before subsiding and shifting to my right side under my ribs. At first, I thought it might be due to a blockage in the air, but the pain persisted until I couldn't bear it any longer and went to the emergency room.
The diagnosis was multiple gallstones.
Through research, I summarized three reasons why I developed gallstones.
1. Irregular eating habits (three meals a day)
Second, greasy food
Third, I am in a bad mood and have been in a very depressed state for a long time.
Of course, these are not the only causes; gallstones are mainly caused by concentrated bile.
On the day this book was released, which was three months ago, at 2 a.m., I was woken up by excruciating pain. The pain was unbearable, so I went to the hospital for a checkup. The pain was located in the center of my chest, but the CT scan did not show any results. The only abnormality was that the food I ate that night was basically undigested and was all stuck in my stomach.
However, the doctor in the emergency room couldn't make a diagnosis. If they had done an ultrasound at the time, and given that even the CT scan couldn't detect it, I would have at most had sand-like stones. With proper diet and gradual conditioning, they might have been able to expel them on their own, and I wouldn't have had to suffer like I did yesterday.
Therefore, good doctors are very important, and some tests still need to be done.
As for updating this book, I will definitely continue to update it if I'm not in pain, since I'm still short of money. As for how much I will update, I can't guarantee it, because I will go to various hospitals to inquire, especially hospitals in Wuhan.
The traditional treatment for gallstones is gallbladder removal. I'm only 24 years old, so I definitely want to save my gallbladder. More than ten years ago, even the appendix, which was considered useless, became useful, so the gallbladder is even more so. My stones aren't very big, so I could have opted for conservative treatment.
