I admit there are some illogical aspects to this plot, because it's a storyline that was rushed through. With the outcome predetermined, the plot is forcibly advanced, with the protagonist infiltrating the human traffickers' hideout, killing them all, obtaining an early-game powerful artifact, and becoming practically invincible in the starting village.
Because it was written ahead of schedule, some of the main characters didn't get what they were supposed to get. To smooth out these inconsistencies, I discussed it with the editor many times and thought of many things, but the final version still made some people dissatisfied. I can't change it anymore; I don't know how to change it.
As for why I'm bringing up the plot earlier, it's simple: if I don't, and write something eye-catching, I won't even get the trial promotion. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but I already have 110,000 words, and I'm still on the trial promotion. This is a situation only new authors face, and it's become my treatment.
There's nothing to complain about; the mess is all my own doing. A fellow author of a fantasy novel, a top-tier writer, started testing the waters with just 30,000 or 40,000 words. I was so envious, my eyes were practically green with envy. When my book reached that word count, almost no one read it. What could I do?
The only solution was to tear up the outline, delete plot details, and force the protagonist to have a cheat code. Only then did things start to improve, and the protagonist was able to get a trial run and advance.
According to the original outline, this was supposed to be a slow-burn story. However, in the current online novel environment, only true masters can write slow-burn stories. I doubt even top-tier authors would dare to write slow-burn stories unless they are not afraid of flopping.
So, readers who see this part of the story, please be gentle with your criticism. This part of the story was forced to be brought forward, with minor deletions and changes. If you have any suggestions for a more reasonable interpretation, please feel free to make them. However, a large-scale change is impossible. The outcome of this part of the story has become the foundation for the development of the subsequent plot. It's like a bug written by a programmer, which is simply untouchable.
