Gui Xiaohua prepared herself mentally before carefully opening her eyes. She saw that although she was flying in the air, her feet felt as if they were walking on flat ground.
She patted her chest, feeling her rapidly beating heart and felt a little bitter. Fairy sister, could you please tell me in advance if you want to take me flying next time?
She opened her eyes, looked at the woods below, and then shook her head at Ye Xin.
"Sister Fairy, that place doesn't seem to be nearby."
Ye Xin took Gui Xiaohua to another place. They walked and stopped, and after walking around most of the forest on the right, Gui Xiaohua finally saw some familiar places.
"Fairy sister, wait, I think I've been here before." She pointed to a broken tree diagonally below. "Fairy sister, look at that broken tree. When I first escaped, I found food under it."
Ye Xin held her and flew to the broken tree. She looked at the tree, which was only a stump left, and asked doubtfully, "Are you sure it's here?"
Gui Xiaohua let Ye Xin put her down. She walked to the tree stump, pushed aside the weeds beside the roots and found a scratch. "Fairy sister, this is it. This is the mark I left before."
Ye Xin leaned forward and glanced at the scratches on the two bars.
There is still a bit of bark hanging on the scratch. The bark and the scratch have not dried yet, and it can be seen that it was indeed carved in the past few days.
She took out the slate again and drew the shape of a tree stump on it. "Use the tree stump as your center and think carefully about which direction you ran from."
Gui Xiaohua thought for a while facing the tree stump, took a few steps back and suddenly ran over from the left side of the stump.
When she was almost in front of the tree stump, she stumbled and fell forward.
Ye Xin hurriedly waved her hand and supported her from a distance.
"How are you?"
Gui Xiaohua managed to steady herself, "Fairy sister, you don't have to help me up. I fell down just like that before, and I want to try again."

Gui Xiaohua climbed up, grabbing a handful of weeds. She spat out the mud in her mouth and ran to the path to the right of the tree stump.

Ye Xin closed her eyes, taking in the entire forest on her right. She looked inch by inch, even the soil under the trees.
When she saw a suspicious cave, she suddenly opened her eyes.
She drew the cave on the jade plate, connected it with the tree stump in the middle, added some details, and a complete miniature map appeared on it.
She marked the road that Gui Xiaohua might have taken and asked her to come over and see if it was this route.
Gui Xiaohua pointed at the suspicious cave and said, "Fairy sister, I remember I didn't escape from the cave, but crawled out from a hole made of mud."
"A pile of dirt?"
"Okay, I know where that place is."
Ye Xin grabbed Gui Xiaohua's collar, and with a flash of his body, he suddenly appeared in front of the pile of mud she mentioned.
Gui Xiaohua's eyes blurred. After rubbing them, she saw the mound of earth she had just mentioned appear in front of her. "This is the place."
Before she could marvel at the fairy sister's magic, a flood of horrifying memories flooded into her mind. Her heart sank and her face turned pale.
Ye Xin bent down and looked at her with concern, "What's wrong? Can you still hold on?"
Gui Xiaohua bit her lip and pinched her thigh hard.
"I can, I can."
The entrance was right in front of her, and the pain in her thigh suppressed her fear a little.
Her companions were still waiting for her, and she had to go back to save them.
Ye Xin admired Gui Xiaohua's courage. A ten-year-old girl who could overcome her inner demons on her own was already beyond most people.
"Then follow me."
The hole made of earth was just right for Gui Xiaohua, but it was a bit unpleasant for Ye Xin.
She walked to the entrance of the cave and kicked the dirt at the entrance.
The entrance of the hole was marked by Ye Xin's kick, and then large chunks of mud fell from the bottom to the top.
After the entrance of the cave expanded to a width that two people could pass through, Ye Xin took Gui Xiaohua in.
The road at the entrance of the cave was a bit narrow, and two figures, one big and one small, almost got stuck inside.
Ye Xin turned sideways and walked to the front to clear the way
After walking for a while inside, the road began to widen, so she pulled Gui Xiaohua to her side.
This cave seemed to be the lair of some large animal. As soon as she came in, she smelled several foul odors mixed together.
There was the smell of some kind of animal feces, human excrement, and rotting food.
Ye Xin glanced at Gui Xiaohua. She seemed to be accustomed to these smells and didn't even frown after coming in.
Ye Xin was silent. She secretly cast a breath-concealing spell on the two of them, and then followed the route in her mind.
Gui Xiaohua followed Ye Xin with her head down. In this dark cave, she kept her mouth shut and didn't say a word.
