"Could it be a scam?" Mr. Li asked doubtfully.
"Old man, that's enough! Is your son really that stupid? Can't he even tell if it's a scam?" Li Chaonan, who had been questioned repeatedly, finally snapped.
Li's father interrupted Li Chaonan's angry roar: "Alright, I know. Bring him home tonight, and I'll leave work early!"

Gao Yan took the keys, unlocked the car, opened the door, sat down, looked it over, and nodded in satisfaction: "Not bad, as expected of a top-of-the-line luxury car!"
Li Chaonan, who had gotten into the passenger seat, said, "Brother, do you like sports cars? If you do, I'll give you one too."
"No need, Brother Li!"
Gao Yan shook his head. He didn't have a preference for sports cars and knew that many wealthy people liked to collect luxury cars, watches, or antiques, but he didn't have a collecting obsession.

Li Chaonan's expression immediately changed. Knowing his old man's personality, this was indeed a possibility. So he said awkwardly, "Maybe we should just forget about it then!"
