I just stepped into Black Dragon City.
A burst of noise reached Qin Xin's ears.
"I heard that today is the Eastern Wilderness Pill Gathering, and the Pill Towers of all the major cities in the Eastern Wilderness will send people to Black Dragon City."
"The Ding Dynasty has many alchemy families, so their strength should not be underestimated."
"If you ask me, the ultimate victor is still Black Dragon City Danta."
The chatter of the passing martial artists caught Qin Xin's attention.
Qin Xin glanced around at the martial artists coming and going and found that there were quite a few of them wearing alchemist robes. Judging from the insignia on their chests, they were all second-grade or first-grade alchemists.
Even so, these alchemists were always accompanied by many martial artists, which clearly shows the noble status of alchemists.
This was the first time Qin Xin had encountered so many alchemists gathered together, and he was itching to show off his skills. After all, it was the Eastern Wilderness Alchemy Gathering, held once every ten years, and there must be many treasures to be found.
Following the alchemists' direction, Qin Xin also followed them, heading towards the Black Dragon City Pill Tower.
Walking along the most bustling street in Heilongcheng, a gigantic building comes into view as you enter the heart of the street.
This building is five stories high and occupies a large area. Standing on it, one can seemingly overlook the entire Heilongcheng.
From the outside, the entire Dan Tower looks as if it has been scorched by flames, exuding an ancient and weathered feel, with a sense of desolation, as if it has been left by the passage of time.
Arriving at the gate of the Pill Tower, Qin Xin couldn't help but sigh as he looked at the plaque crafted from a single piece of ten-thousand-year-old cold jade. Although he had seen it once before, he could still feel the warm spiritual energy emanating from the plaque, which suppressed the fiery aura emanating from the entire Pill Tower, allowing the alchemists who came and went to remain calm.
Besides Qin Xin, many other alchemists also stopped under the plaque of the Pill Tower, seemingly visiting for the first time.
Qin Xin smiled lightly, paused for a moment, and then walked directly into the Pill Tower.
Who is your family's alchemist?
As soon as Qin Xin stepped into the Pill Tower, he was stopped by two women dressed as maids.
Qin Xin glanced at the badges on the two women's bodies and knew that they were servants of the Black Dragon City Pill Tower. The two women stopped him mainly because his clothes were too plain. He wore a gray robe and looked like a servant.
"I am an alchemist."
Qin Xin didn't want to cause trouble, so he directly revealed his identity.
"Ha! If alchemists were like you, wouldn't I be a princess of the Great Xia Dynasty!" A woman dressed somewhat provocatively mocked Qin Xin, clearly not acknowledging his claim of being an alchemist. "Today is the Eastern Wilderness Alchemy Gathering. If you don't want trouble, leave quickly."
Qin Xin noticed that there were quite a few people around him who wanted to pretend to be alchemists and enter, but they were all driven away.
To avoid being kicked out, Qin Xin reluctantly took something out of his spatial ring.
Upon seeing what Qin Xin was holding, the two women's expressions changed slightly. Their previous arrogant attitude vanished, and they respectfully welcomed Qin Xin inside.
Seeing that Qin Xin did not make things difficult for them, the two women breathed a sigh of relief and nervously patted their chests, saying, "We didn't expect that someone so young would be an honorary elder of the Pill Tower in Dading City. Fortunately, he didn't make things difficult for us."
The subtle discussion between the two women was naturally noticed by Qin Xin, whose spiritual senses were sharp, but he didn't pay much attention to it.
Looking at the orange-colored metal token in his hand, Qin Xin felt a pang of emotion. This token was given to him by Liu Jue, the tower master of the Pill Tower in Dading City. Without it, Qin Xin would have had a hard time getting in.
Just as he put the token away, Qin Xin noticed several very familiar figures in front of him.
A slight smile flickered across Qin Xin's lips as he walked directly toward the figures.
"Master Liu, it's been a long time."
Looking at the old man dressed in alchemist's robes, with a ruddy complexion and a youthful appearance despite his white hair, and six shimmering silver ripples on a pattern of a pill furnace on his chest, Qin Xin greeted him directly.
This old man was none other than Liu Jue, the tower master of the Pill Tower in Dading City and a sixth-grade high-level alchemist.
Upon seeing Qin Xin step forward, Liu Jue was slightly taken aback at first, but immediately recognized him, and a smile appeared on his face. "Oh? You actually came to participate in the Eastern Wilderness Pill Gathering as well."
"Lord Liu, who is this boy?" Beside Liu Jue was another old man, but this old man exuded a fiery aura, and his bright eyes were curiously looking at Qin Xin.
"I forgot to introduce him to Master Ming. This young man was the champion of the previous Ding Dynasty Alchemy Tournament. Speaking of alchemist assessments, he completed them at the Alchemy Tower in Black Dragon City." Liu Jue stroked his beard with some pride as he introduced the old man to him.
Upon hearing Liu Jue's words, Qin Xin guessed the identity of the person in front of him. After all, in Black Dragon City, there was only one sixth-grade high-level alchemist, Ming Wei, the tower master of the Black Dragon City Pill Tower.
"Master Ming, I am Qin Xin." Qin Xin bowed and introduced himself.
Upon hearing Qin Xin's name, Ming Wei felt a strong sense of familiarity, as if he had heard it somewhere before, but he couldn't quite place it.
Just as Mingwei was about to speak, a young woman who looked to be in her early twenties walked over, accompanied by a gasp.
Qin Xin followed the crowd's calls and looked over. He recognized the tall, voluptuous girl in front of him as Ming Wei's granddaughter, Ming Ningzhu.
However, because of the alchemist's robe, Ming Ningzhu's figure was completely covered up. But with each step, her ankles, with skin as smooth as jade, would be exposed, giving her a unique charm.
“Grandpa, I’ve mentioned this person to you before, but you don’t seem to recognize his talent in alchemy.” A gust of hot, fragrant air wafted in as Ming Ningzhu entered, her phoenix eyes shimmering as she spoke.
“Yes, yes, I remember now. I didn’t expect this kid to be a guest elder of your Great Ding City Pill Tower.” Ming Wei looked at Ming Ningzhu with a kind expression, then suddenly remembered something and slapped his forehead, saying, “It seems I was blind.”
"Haha, old man Ming, you flatter me. When it comes to having a discerning eye, you really have a lot to learn from me." Liu Jue, standing to the side, began to smugly boast as if he had won a victory.
"Hmph, Tower Master Liu, you're not allowed to bully my grandfather."
Ming Ningzhu acted as if she knew Liu Jue very well, and went straight up and grabbed his white beard, causing the latter to scream in pain.
"Ming girl, let go quickly. Grandpa Liu knows he was wrong and won't bragged to your grandpa anymore," Liu Jue pleaded repeatedly.
Ming Ningzhu smiled triumphantly, "That's more like it. Alright, I'll let you go."
"Let me tell you, old man, if you don't keep a close eye on this one, she'll never be able to get married," Liu Jue said, rubbing his beard with a hint of heartache and indignation.
"Sigh, this girl, I can't do anything with her." Ming Wei said helplessly. "Alright, girl, stop making a fuss. Your Grandpa Liu and I have something to discuss. You take Qin Xin around first. If he wants to participate in the Pill Gathering, you can introduce him to it."
As he spoke, Ming Wei grabbed Liu Jue as if he were running away, seemingly worried that he would be unable to escape once he was entangled with Ming Ningzhu.
"Oh, right, Qin Xin, I forgot to tell you, the eldest prince of the Ding Dynasty, Ding Sheng, and the two sisters from the Zhan clan have also come here to attend the Dan Conference."
Before leaving, Liu Jue seemed to remember something and gave a reminder.
"At its peak?"
Reminded by Liu Jue, Qin Xin also remembered this person. He had been killed by Ding Hao on the way out of Ding Dynasty, and he guessed that it was Ding Sheng who gave the order, after all, Qin Xin had taken the championship from Ding Sheng.
