Chapter 69 Xiaotian

Chapter 69 Xiaotian

The people outside had been waiting impatiently, and when they saw them come out, they surrounded them and asked questions.

"Luming, are you okay?"

"How is it? What's down there?"

"Are the things in the granary down there?"

Gu Chao put the man down without answering their questions, "It's getting late, let's just rest here and clean a room while we can still move."

Lu Ming was not in a good condition at the moment. She took out a bottle of green water to replenish her strength, and threw a bunch to Gu Chao, asking him to distribute them to others.

She came to Lin Cong who was sitting against the wall and saw him and Yan Wei teasing the little girl.

Seeing Lu Ming coming over, Lin Cong quickly handed the dumpling to her: "Hurry up, it seems very hungry, you should feed it something, so that it won't keep gnawing on my hand."

Lu Ming laughed and took the little dumpling, now he had the chance to observe it carefully.

The little ball is about two or three months old. It is very small with long hair and pointed ears. The hair that should be white is sparse and dirty. It should be a puppy, but it is impossible to tell what breed it is.

It's so skinny and feels so light when you hold it in your arms. It must have had a hard time in the past few months.

It sniffed with its little nose, as if it recognized Lu Ming, opened its eyes and whimpered softly: "Awoo, awoo,..." Then it licked Lu Ming's hand gently with its pink little tongue, and its little tail began to wag.

Lu Ming smiled, held the little ball, took out a small bowl, added some spring water, and held it up to the baby to drink.

The little dumpling sniffed it, and seemed to know that it was a good thing. He lowered his head impatiently and licked it.

Luming took out another bag of puppy milk cakes, which were easier to digest and suitable for its stomach that had been hungry for a long time. The little guy ate more happily and swallowed it whole in two or three bites. He tilted his little head and looked at Luming pitifully with his round eyes, and kept acting coquettishly, wanting to eat more.

Luming nodded its head, looked into its beautiful light blue eyes, and said with a smile, "Little guy, you can't eat any more, or your little tummy won't be able to handle it, okay?"

The little dumpling seemed to understand what she said. He cried out miserably: "Woo..." Then he rested his chin in Luming's arm and closed his eyes to rest.

Lu Ming muttered to himself, "You little spoiled brat. I should give you a name. What should I call you?"

She looked carefully and found that there was a patch of black hair on the little ball's forehead, and it looked like the lower corner of a crescent moon had been bitten.

"Well, you're a lunatic, so I'll just call you Xiaotian. How about that? Xiaotian? Tiantian?"

Lu Ming did not give Xiao Tian a chance to object and made the decision directly. Xiao Tian did not even look at her, his eyelids were drooping, and he seemed to be half asleep.

Zhou Zixi, who was standing by, also ordered his men to set up camp, and used the intercom to tell Battalion Commander Wan, who was still waiting outside the town, that they would meet again tomorrow, and then he knelt down on the ground to rest.

He looked at Lu Ming, who was covered in wounds and looked pale and weak, feeding and playing with the dirty puppy in his arms as if no one was around. The face that used to show only obsession, jealousy, stupidity and ignorance now had such a gentle smile on it, and two cute dimples appeared on both sides of his cheeks. He couldn't take his eyes off it for a moment.

She is really different from before, so is this her true self now? He thought silently.

When he heard that she had lost her memory, he thought it was just another trick of hers. However, after actually dealing with her, he found that she had really changed a lot. The enthusiasm and love in her eyes when she looked at him were no longer there. She was no longer spoiled, but had become strong, independent and generous. She was also good at fighting and had spatial abilities. She was completely two different people from before.

But, ask yourself, did he really understand her before?

All his knowledge came from his friends and gossip about him. Apart from a few times of mercilessly scolding her for not bothering him anymore, it seemed that he had never had a proper conversation with her.

Gu Chao noticed the look Zhou Zixi gave Lu Ming and narrowed his eyes unhappily.

The room was almost cleaned up, and the two groups each chose two large adjacent offices. Zhou Zixi watched Lu Ming being helped away by his teammates, and for a moment he felt a little reluctant to let him go.

The Chaoyang team entered the room and locked the door. Lu Ming then took out the tent, sleeping bag, and some dry food, canned fruits from the space. Except for Lin Cong and Yan Wei, who had overdrawn their superpowers, everyone else consciously divided the work and cooperated.

This office also has an independent toilet. Lu Ming put some water in it, cleaned himself up first, changed his clothes, and then gave Xiaotian a simple wash.

I don’t know if it’s because of the spring water he drank, but Xiaotian was very sleepy. While taking a bath, he just lifted his eyelids and looked at Luming for a few times, then squatted in the basin with his eyes half closed, letting Luming do whatever he wanted.

After washing, Xiaotian's original fur color was revealed. It was a very beautiful pure white, with a tuft of black hair on each of his four paws. He looked very stylish, but he was too thin now and looked particularly small.

Lu Ming ate something casually and carried Xiaotian back to his tent to rest.

Not long after, Cheng Ming knocked on the door and came in with a medicine box to bandage her wound.

After the physical condition was strengthened, the body's healing ability also became very strong. After such a long delay, except for the more serious injury on the left arm, the bleeding of other shallow wounds has stopped.

This was the first time Lu Ming saw Cheng Ming doing the work of a medic, and he looked quite competent.

He first treated the wound on her arm, cleaning, disinfecting and suturing it. Lu Ming gritted her teeth in pain but did not cry out, which made Cheng Ming look at her with admiration. You know, such a serious injury would even make him frown, but she, an ordinary girl, could actually endure it without anesthesia.

After bandaging it and treating the other wounds, he stopped when the wound below the collarbone and the back were left.

Seeing Lu Ming had already started to take off his clothes very consciously, Cheng Ming's eyes twitched and he hurriedly stopped him, "Ahem, wait a minute..."

Lu Ming looked up in confusion and asked, "What's wrong?"

Cheng Ming kept a straight face, thinking to himself, someone had just hinted at "calling him when it's inconvenient." If he dealt with it silently, that person would probably be furious...

But looking at Lu Ming's clear and questioning eyes, he felt gloating. Some people still have a long way to go...

He smiled nonchalantly and said, "It's okay. Wait a minute. I'll go get something and come back."

"oh."

Cheng Ming quickly opened the tent door and went out, leaving Lu Ming with a confused look on his face.

After a moment, a hand lifted the curtain and walked in with its head lowered.

"Why did you go there so...huh? Why did someone change?" Lu Ming asked Gu Chao who was sitting next to her in confusion.

Gu Chao coughed uncomfortably, "Lin Zi said he wasn't feeling well, so Lao Cheng went to see him."

"Is he okay?" Lu Ming asked worriedly.

"It's okay." Gu Chao replied indifferently.

Lu Ming nodded and started to unbutton his clothes.

She had already taken off her windbreaker jacket, revealing a new long-sleeved shirt underneath.

As her slender fingers slowly moved down, her fair and delicate skin gradually appeared.
