Although Shang Tian felt that Su Qian was happy, Mosquito felt a chill run down his spine at the sight of so many rats.
"Ah Qian, what kind of pet do you like? We'll find one for you, but please don't keep a rat, okay?"
They could kill them all every day, but Su Qian still managed to capture them...
Mosquito examined the string of rats in Su Qian's hand closely and couldn't help but gasp. My goodness, that must be almost a thousand!
So many rats are being kept outside the village...
The mosquito shuddered and dared not think any further.
Su Qian stubbornly shook her head, "I don't want to, I want to raise mice."
Shang Tian was puzzled by Su Qian's obsession with mice. "Why does Qian like mice so much?"
Rats are really unpleasant creatures; they're all black and have shifty, beady eyes.
"Because they can break down the zombie virus."
Shang Tian: "???" Why didn't you say so earlier?
He quickly said to the mosquitoes, "Stop it."
Mosquito and the others were stunned and all looked at Su Qian. Shang Tian asked nervously, "Qian, what did you just say?"
Su Qian looked at the group in confusion, "These rats can decompose the zombie virus, what's wrong with that?"
Shang Tian took a deep breath and asked, "Can other rats be used too?"
Su Qian shook her head. "I don't know." She had never seen any other mice, so how would she know?
The mosquito thought for a moment and asked, "Young master, perhaps we shouldn't kill them?"
Shang Tian looked at the dense swarm of rats on the ground, frowned slightly, and after a long while shook his head and said, "Let's stick to the original plan."
Even if they were to use rats to cure the zombie virus, they could not tolerate the rat plague continuing to spread.
The road was barren, and the group caught rats along the way before finally encountering a village.
Rats roamed freely in the village, and every household kept their doors and windows tightly shut, yet no one knew if anyone was still home.
Shang Tian looked at the village, frowned slightly, and said, "Kill the rats here first, then see if there are any people."
If the rats aren't killed, no one in the village will dare to come out.
As soon as Shang Tian and his group entered the village, the rats scattered in all directions as if they had seen their nemesis, and within moments, they were nowhere to be seen.
Everyone: "......" Σ(°△°|||)︴
What did they do?
Why are we so afraid of them?
I don't even get this kind of treatment when I go out normally.
The rats escaped, so Shang Tian led his men to knock on doors one by one. They knocked on about ten doors before they heard some voices, but no one answered.
The mosquito asked politely, "Is anyone home? We're just passing by and would like a drink of water?"
Su Qian muttered under her breath, "It's obviously a lie." At a time like this, who would dare drink water from someone else's house?
Who would be willing to give it away to someone else to drink?
The room fell silent for a moment, then the door clicked open. A man in his thirties, dressed in coarse linen, glanced at the people in front of him with a detached look. When he saw the string of rats in Su Qian's hand, his eyes narrowed and his voice trembled. "What do you want?" he asked, before closing the door.
But his speed and strength were no match for a mosquito. The mosquito stubbornly pried open a crack and grinned at the man, "We're not bad people."
The man, his face pale, asked, "What exactly do you want?"
He should have listened to his wife and not opened the door.
These beasts, they don't even spare such tiny mice, how could they possibly let them go?
Su Qian looked at him, her brows furrowing slightly, and said, "You're not human."
