Chapter 300 Surrender

Old Madam Chang asked in a trembling voice, "What...what are you going to do?"

What are you doing?

Madam Chang looked at her coldly and asked, "Where is my grandson?"

Madam Chang frowned and asked, "How should I know? I've been staying at home the whole time, how could I have seen the child?"

Madam Chang's face darkened instantly. After so many years of getting along, how could she not know her great-grandmother's temperament? If she said she had never seen her, then she must have never seen her.

In that instant, Madam Chang felt as if the sky had fallen.

That little hussy lied to her.

Where did her grandson go?

Madam Chang was very anxious. She stood up and rushed home, but when she got there, there was no one there.

"My grandson!" she cried.

With her child gone, what else in this world is there for her to cherish?

She picked up the knife and rushed outside, hacking at anyone from the Interstellar Alliance she saw. Everyone feared someone who didn't value their life, and her reckless attitude intimidated many of them.

After a fierce battle, although not many enemies were killed, quite a few were injured.

Chang An stood guard behind her, and seeing her like this, his heart ached. "Madam, you still have me."

Madam Chang remained silent. Normally, she would have mocked her, but she was not in the mood for it now.

Now... she is determined to die.

Her son is gone, her grandson is gone, what meaning is there for her to live?

She searched the entire Chang family compound but couldn't find her grandson. Coupled with the lies told by the young mistress of the Chang family, she was now certain of her grandson's fate.

She didn't want to look for them, didn't want to see them, she just wanted to go down and be with them as soon as possible.

Seeing Madam Chang's bloodthirsty and ferocious appearance, Chang An felt a sense of despair. He knew that Madam Chang would not survive.

Judging from the numerous bloody holes on her body, she felt no pain whatsoever.

Human life is as worthless as grass.

Chang An swung his knife even harder, thinking that killing one more person and protecting her a little longer would be worthwhile.

He wanted them to live.

After returning home, Shang Tian pondered the matter carefully and then went to find the mosquitoes. "Let's surrender," he said.

He said it seriously.

But Mosquito didn't believe him. Looking at the determination in Shang Tian's eyes, he asked, "What does the young master want to do?"

Shang Tian chuckled and said, "Since you're going to surrender, you should at least show some sincerity. Let the girls come out and serve those gentlemen, and prepare a nice feast. I'll have a meal with them."

"Young Master!" Mosquito seemed to have thought of a possibility. He looked at Shang Tian in disbelief, wanting to hear a negative answer from him.

But Shang Tian shook his head and said, "Mosquitoes, if we don't surrender, we're all going to die."

Go ahead and make the arrangements.

You must arrange things better than you did that year.

Mosquito looked at Shang Tian with tears in her eyes and said, "Young Master, why don't I have this meal with them?"

Shang Tian looked at him with affection and said, "Mosquito, you're not big enough." He stood up and said, "I'll go tell them now. You get ready."

"yes."

Watching Shang Tian's departing figure, Mosquito felt as if a knife was twisting in her heart.

Shang Tian walked towards the city wall. Standing atop it, he looked at the man smiling as he watched the slaughter below. He took a deep breath, forcing a smile, and said, "My lord, we are willing to surrender. Please spare our lives..."

He stood humbly and respectfully on the steps, bowing low, a head shorter than the man.
