Should we change Chapter 69?

"Pfft, hahahaha..." Jingjing laughed so hard she couldn't stand up straight. She never expected that someone would actually want to be a weakling, hahaha... It's just too funny...

Seeing Jingjing's erratic behavior, Su Qian frowned slightly. "What are you laughing at?"

"Host, didn't you hear him say he wanted to be a weakling? Hahaha..."

Su Qian nodded, "I heard you." Is it really that funny?

She asked, puzzled, "Aren't you a weakling too?"

Jingjing stiffened. "It really does seem like it." How could it have forgotten that beneath its host, everyone else is a weakling?

So heartbroken (′-ω?`)

The world was quiet again. Su Qian led Li Zai to a place with many zombies. After Li Zai cleared the zombies away, he started hawking his wares, "Rice porridge, fresh and piping hot rice porridge, just one crystal core per bowl."

"Is there really porridge?" An old man stepped forward shakily, looking longingly at the large pot in front of Li Zai.

"Yes, just one crystal core can be exchanged for a bowl! It's cheap and affordable."

Seeing Li Zai's enthusiastic praise, the old man patted his belly and asked, "What is a crystal core?"

He only had ten coins left.

No other shop would sell him even half a bowl of coarse grain porridge...

"It's something that grows inside a zombie's brain. You can find it by killing a zombie and opening its brain."

The old man's expression changed, and his face turned pale. "Could you... exchange it for something else?" He gripped the ten coins tightly in his hand and looked at Li Zai expectantly.

Li Zai felt a pang of pity and subconsciously looked at Su Qian, "Miss..."

This old man is really pitiful.

Su Qian nodded, "As long as I'm satisfied, anything is fine."

The old man raised his hand, palm up, and slowly opened his fist. On his palm were ten shiny copper coins. He said nervously, "This is all I have."

Su Qian shook her head, "I don't need this."

Money is too cheap in the apocalypse.

"I..." The old man's eyes dimmed instantly; besides this body of flesh... "Can I exchange myself for him?"

If his body could provide his grandson with a meal, it would be worth it.

Su Qian frowned. "What do you mean?"

"Young lady, you can... kill me... and make soup..." His flesh is too tough...

Su Qian sneered, "Who are you doing this for?"

If people eat each other, how long can this world survive?

She wouldn't allow that to happen.

Seeing her gaze, the old man knelt down with a thud. "Young lady, please have mercy! I really have nothing else. My grandson is starving to death!"

Who doesn't want to live?

He also wanted to live.

But... he was so old, he could just die, but his little grandson was so young, how could he die?

Su Qian said coldly, "I don't eat people. You can either exchange it for crystal cores or leave."

"Crystal cores? Where are there any crystal cores left here? You've killed all the zombies."

Su Qian nodded, "Bring your grandson over here."

"What do you want to do?" The old man stepped back warily.

This woman might not be interested in this old man, but she could very well be interested in his grandson...

Su Qian remained silent, only glancing at him indifferently before lowering her head to continue munching on her durian.

Hmm, her tastes have been a bit strange lately; she's become hopelessly addicted to foods like durian and stinky tofu.

"She ate all that herself, how could she possibly have rice porridge?"

"Which ones?" someone asked, puzzled.

"It smells so bad, what else could it be?"

Everyone gave a knowing "oh," as if to say, "You know what I mean, but don't say it out loud."

Feeling disgusted by them, Li Zai ripped open the pot lid and shouted, "Look closely, what is this?"
