Chapter 1028 Be a Good Person

Liu Xiaoyuan and his two companions arrived at the Gobi Desert. Looking at the boundless Gobi Desert, Liu Xiaoyuan realized that people seemed particularly small. If you were thrown into it, you would be as hard to find as an ant.

As soon as the wind picked up, yellow sand rolled in, stinging their faces. Fortunately, Liu Xiaoyuan and his companions were cultivators, so even if they were buried by the sand, their lives would not be in danger.

If an ordinary person is caught in a strong wind, they should either stay put or find a place to hide. If they are buried by the sand, their chances of survival are slim.

Sure enough, as soon as the wind picked up, ordinary people on the outskirts of the Gobi Desert immediately ran towards the town.

"What are you still standing here for? Hurry up and leave, or you'll be in danger when the sandstorm comes." Someone saw Liu Xiaoyuan and the others standing there motionless and quickly urged them on.

Liu Xiaoyuan smiled at the person trying to persuade him and said, "Okay, we'll leave right away."

The other party didn't care whether Liu Xiaoyuan would leave immediately or not. Anyway, he had already told Liu Xiaoyuan that whether Liu Xiaoyuan left or not was his business. If someone wants to court death, no one can control them.

After everyone left, only Liu Xiaoyuan, Old Wang, and Wang Ruyi remained.

The sandstorm was getting stronger and stronger, making it impossible to breathe. Fortunately, Liu Xiaoyuan and his companions were cultivators, so they weren't afraid of this at all.

"Let's go, Fellow Daoist Liu," Elder Wang said to Liu Xiaoyuan.

Liu Xiaoyuan and Wang Lao immediately entered the heart of the Gobi Desert. After flying for a while, they saw that the sandstorm was getting stronger and stronger, and they couldn't open their eyes at all. They could only use their spiritual sense to fly forward.

"Hey, there's someone over there." After flying for a while, Liu Xiaoyuan suddenly noticed a person lying unconscious on the Gobi Desert ahead, their body almost completely covered by yellow sand.

Although Liu Xiaoyuan was anxious to find the Evil-Slaying Sword, he couldn't just stand by and watch someone die. If the person was still breathing, he would be indirectly committing murder.

Although Liu Xiaoyuan isn't exactly a saint, he's definitely not a complete scoundrel either.

Liu Xiaoyuan immediately flew to the person's side, picked him up and took him away. Only then did he realize that it was actually a girl, but she was dressed in sportswear and her hair was tied up and tucked into a hat.

My lips turned white and cracked due to lack of moisture.

Liu Xiaoyuan checked and found that the girl was still breathing, but very weakly. If he had found her any later, she would probably be reporting to the King of Hell.

Liu Xiaoyuan carried the girl and flew out of the Gobi Desert. Seeing this, Old Wang asked, "Fellow Daoist Liu, where are you going?"

Liu Xiaoyuan said, "I'll be right back. Mr. Wang, you can wait for me up ahead."

After Liu Xiaoyuan left, Wang Ruyi said to Grandpa Wang, "Grandpa, isn't it better that he's gone? That way we have one less competitor."

“That’s right. Now that he’s gone, there’s no one left to compete with me for the Evil-Slaying Sword,” Old Wang nodded and said.

"Roar!" Just as Old Wang finished speaking, the white tiger suddenly appeared in front of them. Instantly, Old Wang and Wang Ruyi were dumbfounded, completely forgetting about the white tiger.

The white tiger glared at the two of them, but didn't say anything. It just stood quietly beside them, following them wherever they went.

This was the order Liu Xiaoyuan left for Baihu before carrying the girl away from the Gobi Desert.

Liu Xiaoyuan carried the girl to the town and immediately made her a bowl of water to drink. After drinking the water, the girl coughed and then opened her eyes.

Although the girl was pale and looked a bit scary, she should be alright now, as she had gotten lost in the Gobi Desert and was severely dehydrated.

"Thank you for saving me," the girl said to Liu Xiaoyuan, knowing that it was this handsome man in front of her who had saved her.

Liu Xiaoyuan said, "No need to thank me. I just happened to see you and that's why I saved you. If you're alright, I'll be going now."

“We can’t go into the Gobi Desert,” the girl said, reaching out to grab Liu Xiaoyuan’s arm. She coughed as she spoke quickly.

Hearing the girl's words, Liu Xiaoyuan felt very curious and quickly asked, "Why can't we go?"

After resting for a few seconds, the girl told her what had happened.

It turns out that the girls and their friends enjoy challenging themselves with dangerous activities, such as mountain climbing and rock climbing. They find these dangerous activities exciting.

These people are all children from wealthy families, so they have the money to buy all sorts of equipment.

Tired of mountain climbing and rock climbing, they suddenly had the idea to cross the Gobi Desert. So everyone agreed and they entered the Gobi Desert with plenty of equipment.

As it turned out, something terrible happened. All of the girl's friends died tragically inside, while the girl survived because she was walking at the back.

Upon seeing that all her friends were dead, the girl was terrified, her face paling, and she felt as if she had lost half her mind. She immediately ran outside.

However, due to the lack of water, the girl immediately became so thirsty that she lost all her strength.

"You said you encountered something strange in the Gobi Desert, and your friend suddenly disappeared from your sight? Is that true?" Liu Xiaoyuan asked.

The girl nodded and said, "Yes, we were chatting and laughing, talking about how if we got out of this Gobi Desert, we could go to other places to challenge ourselves. But as soon as they finished speaking, they disappeared right in front of me. I was so scared that I didn't care about anything else and just ran away."

Upon hearing this, Liu Xiaoyuan suspected that these people had encountered that great killing formation. The girl's friends had entered the formation and disappeared immediately, probably dying inside.

"How far is the place where you had the accident from where you fainted?" Liu Xiaoyuan asked the girl.

Did they encounter a massive killing formation? If not, what would happen?

Liu Xiaoyuan felt this wasn't the time to think about it so much. He figured he'd just have to go and see for himself. If it was a large-scale killing formation, Liu Xiaoyuan estimated he'd be able to sense it.

The girl shook her head and said, "I don't know. I don't know how long I ran or how far I ran. I only know that I kept running until I had no strength left. In the end, I collapsed on the Gobi Desert and don't know what happened."

Liu Xiaoyuan estimated that even if a person had plenty of physical strength, they probably wouldn't be able to run very far on the Gobi Desert without water.

Therefore, as long as we start searching from where the girl fainted, we should be able to find the location of the killing formation very quickly.

"Alright, I'll be going now if you're all right," Liu Xiaoyuan said to the girl.

"Where are you going?" the girl asked hurriedly when she saw Liu Xiaoyuan heading towards the Gobi Desert.

Liu Xiaoyuan smiled and said, "Don't worry, I'll be fine."

"But..." The girl saw the rolling yellow sand of the Gobi Desert in the distance. If someone went in, it was uncertain whether they would come back alive.
