Chapter 333 I Want to Sleep with My Big Brother

Looking at the collapsed bed, Liu Xiaoyuan sighed, shook his head, walked to the side, turned off the light, and then slept there for the night.

The next morning, Liu Xiaoyuan confessed to his parents about the door and bed. When his parents went upstairs, they were dumbfounded. What had happened last night? How could the door and bed have changed like this overnight?

Liu Xiaoyuan stammered and couldn't come up with a suitable reason, saying that he just didn't want his parents to worry about it.

But how could his parents not worry? With an attitude of getting to the bottom of things, they pressed Liu Xiaoyuan for an explanation.

Liu Xiaoyuan simply said he didn't know and then went to work. When his parents saw this, they looked at each other and felt that this matter revealed something supernatural.

First the window glass shattered, and now the door and bed are broken, and the two of them haven't heard a sound all night.

My mother is a rather superstitious person, and she said to my father, "Haimin, do you think Xiaoyuan might be possessed by some kind of unclean spirit?"

Liu Haimin wasn't really a believer in this stuff, but the events of the past few days had been so unusual that he couldn't come up with a reason to convince himself. Plus, people in the countryside tend to be superstitious, so even though Liu Haimin wasn't a big believer, his wife's words made him start to think it was true.

"No way?" Although Liu Haimin's face showed a hint of disbelief, he already believed it in his heart.

"How could he not? Look how well-behaved Xiao Yuan has been these past few days. First, the window glass broke, and now it's the door and the bed. If we don't find a fortune teller to take a look, who knows what he might break tonight."

After Mom said that, Dad thought it was better to believe it than not. He said, "Then go to the fortune teller and see what she says."

"Okay, I'll go in a bit!" Mom said, and started preparing.

Liu Xiaoyuan, who was on his way to work, had no idea that his parents were discussing this matter. If Liu Xiaoyuan knew, he would probably be so angry that he would vomit blood. All of this was caused by those two spendthrift women, Su Xue and Su Yu, and now he was being made to take the blame, making him the scapegoat.

After what happened last night, Liu Xiaoyuan didn't sleep well at all, so he kept yawning after arriving at the hotel.

Yang Zihan asked Liu Xiaoyuan with concern what was wrong, and Liu Xiaoyuan said it was nothing, he just went to bed a little late last night.

In the afternoon, Liu Xiaoyuan left work early, went to the furniture market to buy a bed and a finished wooden door, and then went home.

When Liu Xiaoyuan returned home, he found two more people in his house. He vaguely remembered them; they were a shaman, or a fortune teller. They were a husband and wife; the wife was the fortune teller, and the husband was responsible for helping her. The two were quite well-known in the surrounding villages.

Liu Xiaoyuan was puzzled. Had his parents invited the fortune teller to their home again?

Although puzzled, Liu Xiaoyuan didn't ask any more questions. He called people to move the bed upstairs and asked them to install the bed and the door.

After everything was done, the furniture store staff left. Looking at the brand-new bed in the room, Liu Xiaoyuan felt that he should be able to get a good night's sleep tonight.

Just as Liu Xiaoyuan was about to tidy up the things in the room, his mother came upstairs and called him to come downstairs quickly so that the fortune teller could take a look.

Liu Xiaoyuan was puzzled. Why would he ask the sorceress to look at him? She wasn't a matchmaker. Why would she look at him? Did she want to marry her daughter to him?

If that's the case, Liu Xiaoyuan wouldn't agree. Damn it, who knows if her daughter is a little witch?

"What are you going downstairs for? I need to tidy up the room!" Liu Xiaoyuan protested.

Seeing Liu Xiaoyuan like this, his mother became even more convinced that there was something unclean about him. In the past, Liu Xiaoyuan would usually readily agree to do whatever his mother asked him to do, but this time he was unwilling. She thought that the unclean thing on her son was afraid of seeing the witch doctor.

Thinking this way, the mother felt even more determined to drag Liu Xiaoyuan down and have the sorceress remove the unclean things from him.

"We'll clean the house later, come downstairs with me first!" Mom said in a commanding tone.

Seeing that his mother had said that, Liu Xiaoyuan was afraid that if he didn't go down, his mother's temper would flare up and things would get out of control.

So Liu Xiaoyuan had no choice but to follow his mother downstairs.

Once we got downstairs, my mom immediately said, "Go to the shaman!"

Liu Xiaoyuan glanced at the sorceress, who was sitting with her eyes closed on a long bench at an eight-immortal table, looking like a wise and enlightened person.

Liu Xiaoyuan, who grew up under the red flag, didn't believe in the charlatanry. Therefore, he had never been fond of charlatans, believing them to be nothing more than con artists who swindled people out of their money.

However, since his mother had said so, Liu Xiaoyuan did as she was told, to see what kind of nonsense this sorceress could spout.

Liu Xiaoyuan walked up to the sorceress, who suddenly opened her eyes and shouted, "Demon, quickly reveal your true form!"

The shaman's sudden attack startled Liu Xiaoyuan, but his mother, seeing this, thought it was some unclean thing possessing Liu Xiaoyuan that was frightened by the shaman's aura.

Upon seeing this, the sorceress's husband said to his mother, "See? The thing possessing your son was scared off by my wife. Don't worry, we'll get rid of that unclean thing on him soon!"

"Thank you so much, Master! Thank you so much, Master!" My mother believed it wholeheartedly and looked extremely grateful.

Liu Xiaoyuan listened to his mother and the sorceress husband's words and couldn't help but shake his head. His mother was good in every way, except that she was too superstitious.

At this moment, Liu Haimin also stood aside watching without making any comments. Regarding this thing, Liu Haimin always wavered between believing and not believing.

After scolding him, the sorceress suddenly pulled out a talisman she had prepared beforehand, spat on it, and was about to stick it onto Liu Xiaoyuan's forehead.

When Liu Xiaoyuan saw this, he was immediately startled. The sorceress was rather fat and unattractive. In addition, she was over forty years old. Not to mention that she looked disgusting, Liu Xiaoyuan felt uncomfortable.

If Liu Xiaoyuan were to let her saliva stick to his forehead, he estimated he wouldn't be able to eat dinner tonight.

Therefore, you must never let the talisman in the hands of the sorceress stick on your forehead.

Liu Xiaoyuan subtly dodged to the side, thus avoiding the sorceress's attack.

The sorceress was taken aback when she saw Liu Xiaoyuan dare to hide, because most people would obediently stand still and let her stick the talisman on them after being a sorcerer for so long.

The sorceress, a seasoned veteran, was momentarily stunned before reacting instantly. She roared, "You audacious fiend! How dare you dodge! Heaven, in its benevolence, intended to spare your life. But since that's the case, don't blame this great immortal for being impolite. I'll beat you until you meet the King of Hell!"
