And so, Liu Xiaoyuan was taken by Zhao Chuchu to visit tourist attractions in Beijing.
After playing all morning, Zhao Chuchu was so scared by the sun that she immediately hid inside a coffee shop. The sun outside was too strong; she was afraid she would cry if she got a tan.
"What? You're not going to take me sightseeing, are you, my free tour guide?" Liu Xiaoyuan asked with a smile as he stirred his coffee with a spoon.
Zhao Chuchu knew Liu Xiaoyuan was doing it on purpose, and glared at him angrily before picking up her coffee and drinking it.
The coffee shop has a great atmosphere; it's quiet and cool, a paradise compared to the sweltering heat outside.
The two sat in the coffee shop for almost an hour before Zhao Chuchu finally stood up to leave.
"Where should we go next?" Liu Xiaoyuan asked with a smile.
"I'll take you back to your hotel. I'm not going to be your free tour guide anymore," Zhao Chuchu said irritably. The weather was just too hot, and she didn't want to suffer like this.
"Chu Chu!" Just then, two girls walked towards Zhao Chu Chu, looking surprised.
"Zhang Pan, Yuan Fengfang." Zhao Chuchu seemed a little surprised to see the two girls.
Zhang Pan and Yuan Fengfang were Zhao Chuchu's classmates and roommates, and they had a good relationship. However, neither of them was as pretty as Zhao Chuchu, and they were jealous of her beauty and the fact that she had so many rich and handsome suitors.
This jealousy was buried deep in their hearts, and they never spoke of it. Even when it occasionally showed, it was unintentional.
Zhang Pan and Yuan Fengfang are both quite good-looking, but compared to a beauty like Zhao Chuchu, they do fall short.
"Chuchu, is this your boyfriend?" Zhang Pan asked Liu Xiaoyuan with a look of envy, jealousy, and resentment.
Liu Xiaoyuan is handsome, a real heartthrob. Seeing that Zhao Chuchu has found such a tall, rich and handsome man, Zhang Pan's jealousy started to stir again.
“No, he’s just a friend of mine,” Zhao Chuchu said.
"Chuchu, stop hiding it. 'Friends'? He's clearly your boyfriend. Otherwise, why would he be drinking coffee in a coffee shop at midday?" Yuan Fengfang said.
Seeing that neither of her two classmates believed her, Zhao Chuchu simply gave up trying to explain. She changed the subject, asking, "Are you two here on a date with some handsome guy?"
Yuan Fengfang said, "You guessed right. We met our boyfriends here for coffee. After we finish, we'll go out and have some fun. Chuchu, why don't we go together later?"
"Oh dear, you two have actually found boyfriends behind my back! I'd like to see what your boyfriends look like and which family's rich kids they are," Zhao Chuchu said with a smile.
"Chuchu, how dare you talk to us like that? Didn't you also find a boyfriend behind our backs?"
The girls were playfully bickering, completely ignoring Liu Xiaoyuan. Liu Xiaoyuan was happy with this and didn't bother to deal with them.
After everyone moved to a larger table and sat down, Zhang Pan and Yuan Fengfang began to question Liu Xiaoyuan, asking him what he did for a living.

"Wow! Your family runs a farm? How big is your farm?" Zhang Pan asked in surprise.

"What?!" Zhang Pan's mouth dropped open in astonishment. "You're a farmer?"
Zhang Pan was very surprised; she never imagined that Zhao Chuchu would find a farmer as her boyfriend.
"Yes, I am a farmer," Liu Xiaoyuan nodded and said.
Upon learning that Zhao Chuchu had found a boyfriend who was a farmer, Zhang Pan and Yuan Fengfang felt much better, because the boyfriends they had found were all from well-off families and, more importantly, from Beijing.
"Isn't it tiring to farm at home?" Yuan Fengfang asked immediately.
Liu Xiaoyuan shook his head and said, "It's not tiring. It's just a few acres of land. Once the harvest is done, there's nothing to do."
"May I ask you a question? How much do you earn in a year from farming?" Zhang Pan asked.
Liu Xiaoyuan said, "In a good year, the annual income can reach tens of thousands. If it is a drought year, it is good if we can break even."
"Chuchu, how could you find a boyfriend like this? Will your family approve?" Zhang Pan asked, feigning kindness, but actually mocking Zhang Chuchu for being blind to have chosen a farmer as her boyfriend.
As soon as Zhang Pan finished speaking, Yuan Fengfang continued, "Chuchu, I'm not saying this as a classmate, but with your qualities, you should at least find a rich young man. Look at Zhang Pan and me, our boyfriends are from Beijing, and their families are very well-off."

The actions of Cao Weiguo and Guan Dongyi just now convinced Zhao Chuchu that these two guys were no good. They were shamelessly admiring other women in front of their girlfriend, undoubtedly playboys.
